It was probably dumb of me to think about meeting someone here since it doesn't ever do me good to meet people from these towers.

In that exact moment I could see a feminine figure appear wearing a full black robe with long flowing purple hair coming out from her hood, dark purple eyes, and she seemed to be licking her lips.

"Who are you..?" I ask while trying to ignore the nervous tone.

"I'm sure you might have some idea of who I am, or are you really that dumb?" She responds with a bit of confusion.

Something about her is definitely obvious but there's no way that I'd be meeting one of them right now. There'd be no reason for one of the Monarch's to appear before me like this.

"A monarch?" I question with a bit of a confusion in my voice.

"Ding. Ding. Ding. I'm not interested in a fight or anything right now, it wouldn't be worth the time. I just wanted to see who this cutie was that was clearing the tower that Chaos put together." She answers with a bit of excitement.

"Which monarch might you be?" I ask while keeping what she said in mind.

"Lust. But I'm sure you had a feeling. I'd love to chat with you for a little while." Lust answers with a smile.

This could be an opportunity to learn some more about the monarchs, if I can even get her to tell me anything. Not like I can just run away from her either.

Monarchs are powerful... I still haven't reached a point where I can go hand to hand with them yet. I'll have to play it safe for the time being.

"Okay Lust, we can talk for a little while." I say with a bit of confidence.

"Yay!! Alright let's take a seat, I'd love to talk with the dragon." Lust replies with even more excitement in her voice.

We both manage to find something to sit on, even though I can feel a bit of awkwardness between us. She doesn't seem to be phased by it in the slightest.

Her eyes were just watching me the entire time as I tried to look for something to sit on.

"I'm sure you have a lot of things you are curious about, I'd love to tell you whatever I can without spoiling the future. Plus Chaos would be upset if I told you certain things, so ask away or would you rather I just talk a bit instead?" She says before asking me a question at the end.

I don't really know what would be better for this situation since I could just ask her the questions that are on my mind... Or I could see if they get answers as she talks.

Playing it safe would mean she can talk and maybe you'll get answers. You don't want her to get too much out of you either, she is our enemy at the end of the day.

Yeah. I definitely can't forget about that since she is one of the Monarch's that I'll have to kill at some point. It would probably be best to play it safe so that I don't put myself in a bad position.

"I'd feel better if you just explained everything you want to talk about or what you can tell me." I say with a serious tone, trying to keep calm.

The pressure she gives without even trying is insane... I really need to get stronger so that this doesn't affect me as much in the future.

"Sure. I'd love to explain or tell you things, it is one of my favorite things to do." Lust responds with excitement.

(Lust begins to explain things.)

I'm sure you must be curious about Monarch's more than anything else or maybe you are curious why your world. Chaos doesn't really care to be picky about where or when a world or realm gets their "collapse" as the humans in your world call it.

It really is just him seeing how many strong beings can come out from each place, who can be the ultimate person to rise above the rest. The one that others would come to see as a god.

Rankings probably help with that quite a bit, but none of the places have had that one person rise up yet.

I'd say you are definitely not the one we see as such a thing yet but you have definitely caught our attention. Fighting throughout the whole tower on your own against some of the toughest enemies we could form.

Bwahahaha! Sorry, no they aren't the toughest but they were strong.

The collapse is a way to test different races/beings to see who can survive and continue to grow. Originally you weren't one that was expected to survive since we never saw an awakening from you.

But man was that a surprise, who knew that going into a dungeon would be the way you awaken.

"This isn't telling me a whole lot, other than that you guys want to see strong beings rise." I interrupt briefly.

"I promise I'll try to give you some important information here, just be patient since I have to be careful with what I say." Lust replies before continuing.

The thing is, we are still missing a monarch. One of the sins is gone and we haven't seen it since.

There's potential that this sin could be within any of the people that we've come to awaken over the years. But it'll be revealed when a certain threshold is reached.

Sins are monarchs at the end of the day and you seem like you could potentially be a monarch. None of the others agree just yet but I think I'm confident in you.

Also if you are wondering why or how awakenings work, I couldn't tell you. It is completely random for everyone.

Even Monarch's had to awaken at some point or another which is why we are where we are.
