"First of all, I plan on crafting my personal weapon and armor."
When Pamela heard this, she was slightly surprised. She expected Corey to tell her how he planned on becoming a new race, not that the first thing he wanted to do was craft a weapon and an armor.
"Don't you already have a powerful weapon and armor? I've seen you use multiple weapons, and our Genesis Armaments are powerful enough."
Corey shook his head slightly. "The weapons are very powerful, but I have a weapon in mind that would fit all my requirements if I'm able to craft it."
Corey paused, and then he looked at his heart where the core of his Devourer's Armor lay.
"As for my armor... I just want something different for myself."
Pamela looked at Corey with slightly furrowed brows, and then she shook her head and focused on the front.
"So, do you need my help in crafting your weapon and armor?" She asked, and Corey nodded.
"Most likely. It'll be safer with you there since you can control runes a lot better than me... And you might need to protect me while I'm forging the weapon and armor."
Pamela raised a brow. "Protect you?"
Corey nodded once again. "The weapon I plan on forging would most likely invoke a tribulation that'll try to kill me and destroy the weapon and armor. I might need your help to protect me."
Pamela narrowed her eyes. "If I'm not able to handle it, I won't risk my life for you. Just know that."
Corey shrugged. "I never expected you to risk your life for me. But I appreciate you telling me."
Pamela remained quiet for a few moments, and then she asked another question.
"If you wanted to craft a weapon and armor, why couldn't we have done it in that mountain range? It was extremely secluded, and it looked like a perfect place to forge."
Corey chuckled softly. "I have another place in mind. It's a much safer place, and it's a project of mine I've been doing these past two years."
Pamela looked at him and scoffed. "You mean apart from taking all the Infinity Crystal fragments in the world? And also taking two years instead of a few months like you told me?"
"It's not my fault I took everything. You could have taken some of them before me if you wanted to, but you didn't."
A flash of annoyance appeared in Pamela's eyes for a brief second. "After telling me about your race, you know why I didn't take another Infinity Crystal fragment."
Corey glanced at her before looking away with a slight smile. "You know that your body can only take three Infinity Crystals in total, and five Infinity Crystal shards in total."
"This is not mainly because of your Tier, but your racial limit. Your race has the potential to reach the peak of the universe, but Infinity Crystals are not your average treasures. In fact, it's a big achievement that your race can allow you to hold a total of three Infinity Crystals. Many races can barely fuse with a single Infinity Crystal."
"Maybe if you were to become an Immortal or a god, you'll be able to fuse with more Infinity Crystals... Or you find a way to advance your race beyond the universal limit."
Pamela's lips twitched when she heard the nonchalant tone Corey had when he suggested that she find a way to advance her race beyond the universal limit.
She seriously had the urge to teach Corey a lesson or maybe even five. She knew how difficult it was for her to advance her race to what it was now.
The blood she shed.
The tears of pain she cried.
The risks she took.
The injuries she sustained.
Advancing one's race was not easy to do at all.
Corey could guess what was going through Pamela's thoughts through her facial expression, but he didn't comment on it.
"Like I was saying, you chose not to fuse with the Infinity Crystal shards because you know that they're a lot weaker than complete Infinity Crystals, and since you have limited space in your body to fuse with Infinity Crystals, you prefer to fuse with a complete Infinity Crystal and not an Infinity Crystal shard."
"So... Like I said, don't blame me for taking the Infinity Crystals I needed."
"..." Pamela looked at Corey with a deadpan expression. "Can I kill you?"
Corey chuckled softly, and then he shrugged nonchalantly. "In the past, you might have been able to. But right now..." Corey's eyes flashed with a chilling coldness and sharpness that caused the hair on Pamela's back to rise.
"... I doubt you'll be able to kill me."
Pamela remained silent and just stared at Corey with narrowed eyes, and then she scoffed while looking away.
The corner of Corey's lips curled up slightly, and then he continued speaking.
"Anyway. A piece of advice, don't take the Light, Darkness, and Space Infinity Crystals. They have been tampered with."
Pamela looked at Corey with raised brows. "Tampered with? By who?"
"A race that's on par with the Paragons. They are called the Supremes. Be wary of them or anything related to them." Corey said with a solemn tone, and Pamela's expression also became solemn.
Although she couldn't fathom just how powerful the Paragons and Supremes were, she knew that it was far beyond her imagination.
Corey did not allow Pamela to continue in her train of thoughts. He spoke once again.
"If we're successful in forging my weapon and armor, the next thing we'll have to do is destroy the Universal Brand in me and sever my connection with the Universal System."
"What?" Pamela exclaimed with a stunned expression.
"What I truly need your help with is this. I can find a way to handle the others on my own, but I absolutely need your help in severing my connection with the Universal System?"
Once again, Pamela heard something she never expected.
"How can you sever your connection with the Universal System?"
To Pamela's surprise, Corey suddenly came to a stop. She also stopped and looked at Corey with raised brows, but then she looked down.
"Huh? The Black Sea?"
Unknown to her, they had already arrived at the Black Sea.
"We're here. Let's enter The Forge."
