When creating a Weapon Spirit, one might ask why it was stated that one's Will should be infused last and not first, second, or third.

And the reason was simple, because one's Will was needed to stabilize the reaction that would occur once the person's soul energy, spiritual energy, and mental energy came in close proximity together.

Despite having read about the violent reaction that would occur once he infused his spiritual energy, soul energy, and mental energy into the molten sphere, Corey was still taken aback by the sight of it.

The soul energy, spiritual energy, and mental energy inside the molten sphere were all his. And by all means, such a reaction should not occur when all three energies were his.

In fact, the three energies should fuse easily or coexist easily, but they didn't.

Corey wanted to observe the reaction of the three energies, but he couldn't. The longer he spent without infusing his Will into the molten sphere, the more dangerous it would become and the more damage would be done to the molten sphere.

Corey switched from his mental energy, and then he split a whole fifty percent (50%) of his Will and sent it into the molten sphere.

The moment Corey did this, his expression which had gotten a lot better became a lot more worse.

His face was extremely pale, and his eyes were bloodshot as immense pain shot throughout every inch of his body.

The pain he was going through was enough to cause a god to grunt, but Corey's expression was one of utter calm.

His gaze was utterly focused as he directed his Undying Will into the molten sphere.

Anna had no idea what Corey had just done, but if Tessa were here or was given permission by Anna and Corey to watch what was going through Anna's eyes, her eyes would be wide with disbelief because of Corey's actions.

It was a common thing that when an individual wanted to create a Natural Weapon Spirit or even an Artificial Weapon Spirit, they usually split about five to ten percent (5-10%) of their Will.

The reason for this is because were several, and one of them was because restoring one's Will was an immensely difficult and slow process.

Unless one had natural treasures or alchemical products that could heal Wills effectively, one would constantly be faced with an immensely painful headache until their Will was healed.

It was not just a headache or migraine, it was much worse than that. It was akin to somebody blending one's brain and stopping just when the brain was about to turn to mush.

Having an incomplete Will was an extremely painful thing, and unless had a very high pain tolerance or pain resistance, very few could live with the pain.

The higher the percentage of one's Will somebody split off, the greater the pain.

Another reason why many chose to split off between 5-10% of their Wills was because the more incomplete their Will was, the more sluggish their minds and body would be.

They would find it difficult to process things they could process before.

There were several other reasons why many only chose to split off between 5-10% of their Wills, especially in the creation of a Weapon Spirit.

It was not worth it to split off more than that.

But what had Corey had done?

He had not cut off 5% of his Will.

He had not cut off 10% of his Will.

He had not cut off 20% of his Will.

Corey had cut HALF of his Will... A whole 50%!!!

If anybody were to hear of such, they would wonder if the person had plans to kill himself beforehand since that should be the only reason why one would be mad enough to split half of their soul.

But Corey had no such thoughts. His thoughts were definitely one of madness, but suicidal?

Absolutely not.

After splitting off half of his Will, Corey should either be screaming and writhing in pain, or he should be unconscious and mumbling absolute nonsense.

Aside from bloodshot eyes and a slightly trembling body, Corey should not be okay the way he currently was.

During the two years after he left the Chained Firmament, Corey had done a lot of things, and one of the things he did was to understand and practice with his Undying Will.

When it came to his Undying Will, he had done a lot of things, and one of them was splitting off his Will.

This was part of the training he came up with for his Undying Will, and he focused more on it when he realized that he would need his Will to create a Weapon Spirit.

His Undying Will was an extremely unique and rare Will because it was one of the very few Wills in existence that could regenerate itself at an extremely fast rate.

Which meant, no matter what Corey did, it would always heal faster than other Wills.

Although his Undying Will had an absurd regenerative speed, he was not mad enough to split off 50% of his Will on the first try.

Since he knew very little about Wills, he tried splitting off 1% of his Will, and it was an experience he would never forget.

Despite his experiences and high pain tolerance, he had screamed like a mortal who was shot in the knee.

It was an extremely painful experience, and this was just him splitting off 1% of his Will.

It was when he experienced such pain that he realized why the Silver Elves said one must have extremely high pain resistance or tolerance and be mentally prepared for the pain.

With his Undying Will, Corey was able to constantly practice splitting his Will and getting used to the pain.

If not for the fact that adding more than 50% of his Will would be detriment to the creation of the Weapon Spirit, Corey would have split a lot more.
