After Corey infused fifty percent of his Will into the molten sphere, the three clashing energies suddenly calmed down like how little children behave the moment they see their parents and they know the immense trouble they were in.
His Will was like a parent to the three stubborn energies, and because Corey used half of his Will and not five or ten percent, the energies became submissively instantly.
If he had used between 5-10% of his Will, it would have taken a lot more effort for his Will to control and stop the rampage of his soul energy, spiritual energy, and mental energy.
Corey swept his gaze over the interaction between his three energies and his Will, and he was immensely intrigued by what he was seeing.
A few seconds later, another change began to occur.
His soul energy, spiritual energy, and mental energy began to merge. His Will engulfed the three energies like a shell, and then... A seed was born.
BADUM!
BADUM!
The sound of what seemed to be a heartbeat but was not resounded in the Forge the moment the seed was formed.
And Corey could feel his heart resonating with the heartbeat of the seed, and a surge of different emotions filled his heart when he saw the seed.
Relief. Joy. Pride. Satisfaction.
"A Natural Weapon Spirit Seed... I succeeded." A bright smile could be seen on Corey's face as he stared at his pulsing Weapon Spirit Seed.
His Weapon Spirit Seed was like a black marble, but on its surface was a nebulae mixed with a sky-blue and white colour.
It was utterly beautiful and mystifying to look at.
Corey watched as lines with colours similar to that of his Weapon Spirit Seed appeared on the molten sphere, and a few moments later, he exhaled softly.
"Let's shape you."
He opened his right hand, and a hammer engraved with formations appeared in his hand.
He grabbed the hammer, and the moment he held it, the Forge lit up as hidden runes across the walls awakened and emitted a bright cyan light.
Corey grabbed the molten sphere with his telekinesis, and then he placed it on the anvil. Runes appeared on the anvil, and these runes were connected to the runes on the walls.
The runes on the walls and anvils were there to assist Corey in the shaping of the metal.
He began hammering.
Clang!
The first strike felt like hammering the heart of a mountain. The shockwave traveled up Corey's arm, and his shoulders became numb. But he continued.
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
With each strike, the mass changed smoothly. It stretched, contracted, flattened, and folded. It shifted between weapons as though it was testing shapes.
A spear point, a sword edge, a curved blade, a staff length, and a chain segment.
Corey shaped none of these alone. The metal responded instinctively to his Will, his instincts, his desire.
Clang!
Blue sparks flew, crackling like lightning.
Clang!
Dark smoke hissed upward and swirled into ghostly forms. The last of the hidden impurities were being removed by Corey.
Clang!
He hammered until the molten form became something sleek, something like a glass blade. It was still glowing red hot, but it was gaining definition as Corey hammered it.
Corey had no idea how much time he had spent. His entire and complete focus was on the metal in front of him.
He was in a state of trance, and his Eyes of Omniscience were in full power as he hammered the metal to what he desired.
Every single hit he made was like a song that strangely enraptured the mind of Anna who was watching Corey with awe.
Although nearly two days had passed, she did not find watching Corey boring. It was entertaining to her, especially when she saw Corey in such an extreme focused state.
Meanwhile, what she did not know was that Corey was in pain everytime he hammered the metal.
Because his Weapon Spirit Seed was still newly formed, everytime he hammered the metal, he was also hammering his Weapon Spirit Seed which contained his Will.
The Weapon Spirit Seed was not yet an independent entity from him, and it felt like he was hammering his skull and brain everytime he hit the metal.
After nearly twenty four hours (24 hours), Corey finally stopped hammering, causing Anna who was enjoying the sound of it to become stunned due to the sudden disappearance of it.
She felt... a strange sense of loss.
Corey had no idea about the feelings of Anna, and even if he knew at the moment, he wouldn't care.
Instead, his entire gaze and focus was on what was in front of him.
A crystal clear glass rod.
Corey decided to make the base form of his weapon a glass rod. It was not a sword, spear, or axe, but a rod.
And as Corey's Eyes of Omniscience deeply scanned the glass rod for any sign of imperfection, he saw none and he was instantly satisfied.
His instincts were warning him and he could feel a brewing threat looming around him.
'The Tribulation... It's here.'
Corey's gaze was utterly calm despite knowing this and despite feeling the power behind the looming tribulation.
Creating the glass rod alone was enough for a tribulation to strike him, but the universe knew that he was not done.
And it was until he finished, the universe would measure just how much tribulation Corey and his weapon must survive.
Corey exhaled softly, and then his gaze sharpened.
"The next step."
Corey's fingers moved, and then he began weaving runes.
When Corey was shaping the metal, he had hammered it into several weapon shapes so that the metal which has the property of the shapeshifting metal of the Dawnsplit Fang would register those weapon shapes.
However, it was not enough.
Corey could only make so many weapon shapes, so he needed another method.
Since he didn't want his weapon to have a single shape, he planned on creating an Arcane Rune Matrix- It was a floating lattice of runes that represented all weapon categories.
A weapon's edge.
A weapon's point.
A weapon's weight.
A weapon's curve.
A weapon's flow.
A weapon's recoil.
A weapon's leverage.
A weapon's reach.
Corey weaved turns that represented all of these along with several other properties. He weaved them into a sphere around the glass rod, causing the glass rod to be coated with numerous runes.
When he activated the runes, they spun, collapsed, and reformed thousands of times. Each rune taught the glass rod the essence of the concept of weapons- a spear, a sword, a dagger, a whip, a bow, an axe, a scythe, a chain, a staff, a shield, and so on.
The Arcane Runic Matrix did not teach the glass rod the physical shapes of the weapons, but their purpose.
The glass rod. No. His infant Weapon Spirit Seed memorized them all.
By the end, the glass rod trasnformed into a sword, and then a bow, and then a spear, and then an axe, and then...
The glass rod was constantly transforming into numerous weapons, and Corey was immensely pleased and satisfied when he saw this.
'It worked.' He exclaimed inwardly with joy.
