One of the reasons why Corey was able to create a rune matrix like this was because he had the intents of several weapons.
Another thing Corey had done in the past two years was to obtain the intents of several weapons, and it was rather easy for him because of his talent.
With the help of his Stars of Consciousness, he could practice with a vast number of weapons and become extremely proficient in using them.
What was difficult to achieve was getting a World Heart Intent for all the weapons. World Heart Intent was on a whole different level compared to normal intent.
However, it did not matter to Corey because he had achieved what he wanted.
The glass rod could transform into any weapon.
After accomplishing this, Corey began to inscribe more runes on the glass rod. He sent his Will into the glass rod and ordered it to remain in its base form.
He began weaving more runes. This time around, the runes he weaved were vastly different to the previous runic matrix.
This runes were eerily similar to the chaotic runes of the Shattered Dimension of the Old Ones and also the runes of the Demonic Sabers.
These runes were Devouring Runes.
They were what would allow his Weapon Spirit and his weapon to devour other metals and a person's Will and Soul.
These runes were forbidden demonic runes that should not exist in the universe, and the moment Corey weaved these runes, he could feel the threat growing around him increasing by a tremendous amount.
But Corey was not deterred by the threat in the slightest. He pushed the rune on the glass rod, and the glass rod trembled violently.
Corey could feel his Weapon Spirit Seed wanting to refuse and even attack the rune, but Corey stopped it.
He sent his intent to his Weapon Spirit Seed and was about to explain why it needed to absorb the rune, but to his slight surprise, his Weapon Spirit Seed readily accepted the rune the moment he sent his intent to it.
He was stunned for a moment, but then he understood.
His Weapon Spirit Seed was still an infant, and he was like a mother and father to it. It blindly trusted him and believed him.
Corey observed it for a moment, and then he pushed the Devouring rune into his Weapon Spirit Seed with a light gentle smile.
His smile became more gentle when he saw that the Devouring Rune fused with his Weapon Spirit Seed with ease.
Corey observed the state of his Weapon Spirit Seed, and when he saw that it was okay, he snapped his finger.
A golden piece of metal appeared above his hand, on this metal was a formation- As You Wish.
Corey glanced at the metal with slightly furrowed brows for a second, and then he placed it on the glass rod.
The moment he did this, the effect of the Devouring Rune showed itself.
The metal which was actually Compliant Gold was easily absorbed into the glass rod. When Corey saw that his Weapon Spirit was about to absorb the As You Wish formation, he quickly stopped it.
Instead, he sent his thoughts to his Weapon Spirit Seed and it paused for a moment before doing what Corey wanted.
If any knowledgeable blacksmith or individual were to see this, they would be stunned because such a thing should not be possible.
Corey's Weapon Spirit was not only a seed, it was an infant seed. It was like telling an embryo to do something and it did it.
How incomprehensible was that?
But Corey's Weapon Spirit was not normal for several reasons- His soul energy from his Cosmic Soul, his spiritual energy which was completely unique because of everything about him, his mental energy which was extremely pure and of a greater quality than Immortals and even Gods, and half of his Undying Will.
All of these attributes made his Weapon Spirit to be extremely different and unique from the norm despite it still being in a seed form.
His Weapon Spirit Seed causes its physical body to fuse with the As You Wish formation, and when it did, a golden veins flashed across the glass rod for a second before it vanished.
When Corey saw this, he released a soft sigh of exhaustion and relief.
He was nearly done. Just a few more steps.
He looked at his right hand, and with a thought, a black rune appeared at the back of his hand.
The black rune had the appearance of a flaming incomplete maw, and this rune was one of the rewards he got for completing the system trial and for killing Death.
----
[Necrosigil- A rune that can be inscribed into a weapon to permanently make it ignore physical and metaphysical defenses.]
----
Corey had not forgotten about this rune in the slightest. It was a very powerful rune, and he wanted his weapon to have its ability.
He placed his hand on the glass rod, and then he transferred the Necrosigil to his Weapon Spirit.
His Weapon Spirit was still trying to acclimatize to the previous runes Corey had given it, and when it saw the Necrosigil, it absorbed it.
Giving a Weapon Spirit Seed or a Weapon Spirit so many runes to fuse with and absorb was something very few would do because each rune was a weight the Weapon Spirit had to bear and carry.
If it was too much, the Weapon Spirit would either break or become weakened. However, Corey's Weapon Spirit as usual, was different. The weights of the runes were not enough to make it break.
After sending the Necrosigil into his Weapon Spirit, the flaming incomplete maw appeared on the glass rod for a few seconds before disappearing.
When Corey saw this, a flicker of relief could be seen in his eyes, but it was then replaced by an extremely solemn gaze.
"It's done." He looked up, and although there was nothing on the roof of the Forge and even outside the Forge, he could feel it.
The immense tribulation that wanted to descend on him, but it had not for one reason.
It was waiting to see if Corey would take the next step.
If he did, the power of the tribulation would be recalculated. If he didn't in the next one minute, the power of the tribulation would remain the same.
"I guess I should name you."
Corey looked at the glass rod with a light smile.
Yes.
What the tribulation was waiting to see was if Corey would name it or not.
