Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1127: 1124: Killing A God's Incarnation (1)

The God of Blacksmiths already knew that Primus was made out of a mixture of metals, and one of the metals was a metal every blacksmith desired to work on.

Compliant Gold

It was a metal of Legends. A metal that was rarely found in the universe, and a metal that many divine blacksmiths claimed to originate from outside the universe.

Compliant Gold was one of the many metals he had desired to find and had also done an extensive research on, so he knew about its ability to increase its length and weight.

However, what he also knew was that to drastically increase the weight and length of Compliant Gold required a vast quantity and high purity of energy.

The energy requirements was so high that very few Immortals could properly utilize Compliant Gold to the best of its abilities. Only gods could use without having to worry so much about the energy requirements.

This was one of the reasons why he was so shocked when he felt the drastic increase in Primus' weight.

Corey was a mortal, and there was no way he should be able to increase Primus' weight so drastically and so easily.

What he failed to truly take into consideration was the fact that Primus had gotten so large and tall that he reached the skies and devoured the Tribulation.

The God of Blacksmiths subconsciously came to the conclusion that Primus had gotten bigger using another energy source or through another means, and that was the beginning of his downfall.

Another factor that was going to lead to his downfall was his ignorance.

The God of Blacksmiths was ignorant of the existence of a formation called 'As You Wish.'

The 'AsYou Wish' formation was one of the main reasons why Corey was able to increase the weight of Primus to an absurd degree.

It drastically reduced the energy requirements, and unfortunately for the God of Blacksmiths, he had no knowledge of such a formation.

Another reason why Corey could drastically increase Primus' weight is because of Primus himself.

Primus was able to reduce the energy cost to a high degree, especially after surviving and devouring his Tribulation.

Because of all of this, Corey was able to drastically increase the weight of Primus.

At first, the God of Blacksmiths did not want to let go of Primus because of his pride.

It would hurt his pride to let go of Primus just because of Corey, but after struggling to hold Primus for a few seconds, he knew he had to let go or his incarnation would suffer immensely.

But to the god's disbelief, the part of the glass rod he was holding suddenly transformed into chains that bound his arm tightly by the wrist.

What was more terrifying was that despite the change in its form, Primus' weight was still as heavy as dozens of planets stacked upon one another.

And the worst part?

Primus' weight was slowly increasing!

"What do you think you're doing? Let go!" The God of Blacksmiths ordered with gritted teeth and veins in his eyes and on his neck.

Corey titled his head slightly. "Didn't you want him? Here... Have him."

Corey lightly pushed Primus toward the God of Blacksmiths, and the god's eyes widened to the extreme.

PUCHI!

The God of Blacksmiths looked down in disbelief. His pupils shook when he saw that Primus had pierced a hole in his stomach.

Primus had elongated at an extremely blinding speed and he became a spear with chains attached to the spearhead.

And then he pierced a hole through his bodily defenses and body.

The God of Blacksmiths was baffled for several reasons, and he had no idea how to articulate his thoughts and feelings.

He looked at Corey, and for the first time since he looked at Corey, his instincts warned him about the mortal he had looked down upon.

He could also see a fraction of what Corey truly was. The frightening depth he had in him.

"How? How were you able to pierce through my passive defenses? It should not be possible for a mortal."

Corey calmly and indifferently raised a brow. "I used the weapon I crafted. Wasn't that obvious?"

The God of Blacksmiths opened his mouth to respond, but Corey did not give him the chance to.

He held Primus with his two hands, then he moved Primus who was now in a spear form, upward.

He was barely able to move Primus by an inch before the God of Blacksmiths held Primus and stopped him from moving any further.

His gaze was frighteningly cold, but Corey was not deterred.

Primus trembled for a moment before he transformed into another weapon.

Nunchucks to be exact.

The chains from the nunchucks tightened their hold on the God of Blacksmiths' right wrist.

The God of Blacksmiths glanced at the chains, and when he shifted his gaze back to Corey, his eyes widened.

His stomach was still pierced by one of the nunchucks' shaft, and the other was being held by Corey, and it was dangerous close to the God of Blacksmiths' eye.

The God of Blacksmiths was not a warrior in the slightest. He had very little combat experience compared to many other gods, and he strongly believed that Corey could not harm him because he was a god and Corey was just a mere mortal.

Because of these, he only released a ward of divine energy that was meant to protect him.

The ward of divine energy was extremely thin and contained very little energy, but anybody who was not a Demi-God or a God could not break through this thin ward of divine energy.

It was far far far more powerful than Immortal mana. If an Immortal wanted to destroy a barrier made out of divine energy with Immortal mana, they might drain themselves of their energy and not even dent the barrier.

That was how tough a barrier made out of divine energy was, even if it was a thin barrier.

However, a black rune suddenly glowed on the shaft Corey was holding.

----

[Necrosigil- A rune that can be inscribed into a weapon to permanently make it ignore physical and metaphysical defenses.]

----

PUCHI!!!

The shaft of the nunchucks suddenly transformed into a long dagger, and its blade was plunged into the God of Blacksmiths' eye and then his skull.
