The expression of the God of Blacksmiths was one to behold. His face was completely filled with shock.
He was frozen in place, and he could not even react to the grim realization that his divine energy had been pierced and the life of his incarnation was in danger.
If not for the fact that he was a god and his divine energy was flowing through the veins of his incarnation, his incarnation would have died.
And why wouldn't he?
There was literally a dagger sticking out of his skull.
A second later, the God of Blacksmiths realized another terrifying fact.
'My soul and Will is getting devoured?! This is not a divine weapon but a demonic weapon! It's a cursed weapon and it should not be allowed to exist!'
'No wonder the heavens wanted to destroy it!'
'At this rate, my incarnation will die and my main body will suffer terrible injuries as a result. I can't allow that!'
The shock in the God of Blacksmiths' eyes increased, but he was no longer stunned.
His expression became frighteningly cold, and with a dagger sticking out of his skull, his appearance was nothing short of terrifying.
Corey frowned when he saw that the god was still alive.
'I knew it. Killing a god sure is difficult.'
Corey wanted to swipe to the left and split the God of Blacksmiths' head in two, but the god suddenly held his hands.
Despite the immense weight of the chains that bound his hands, the God of Blacksmiths chose not to care about the state of his incarnation.
He needed to kill Corey and remove Primus from his body as quickly as possible. With every second that passed, Primus was devouring his soul and Will!
He also realized way too late that from the first time he was stabbed in the stomach, his soul and Will was being devoured but it was very subtle.
It was one of the reasons why he had been so slow to properly react to Corey's attack.
"You... How did you get such a demonic weapon?! What is a mortal doing with a demonic weapon?!"
Crack!
The God of Blacksmiths increased the force of his grip around Corey's arms, and Corey's bones cracked.
Pain shot up Corey's entire body, and the God of Blacksmiths increased the strength behind his grip, causing more of Corey's bones to shatter.
Despite the pain Corey was feeling, his expression remained the same. He did not release a grunt or even twitch at the pain of his bones getting crushed.
With a mere thought, Primus suddenly transformed into gauntlets that reached his shoulders.
The God of Blacksmiths was taken aback when Primus transformed into a liquid form, and flowed across Corey's arms in the blink of an eye, forming a clawed gauntlet.
'How many forms can this demonic weapon transform to? It has transformed to a spear, a staff, a dagger, a chain, and now gauntlets?'
'What is this weapon?!'
Although the God of Blacksmiths was taken aback and stunned by the realization that Primus could transform into many forms, he did not slow down.
He tightened his grip on Corey's arms with all he had so that he could completely crush Corey's arms and hear him scream. He even used Divine Energy to increase his strength so that he could crush Primus and Corey's arms together.
Even though Primus would be damaged, he believed that he would be able to restore Primus regardless of the damage.
How could a mortal be a better blacksmith than him? The God of Blacksmiths?
It was utterly incomprehensible.
He could have done a million other things to kill Corey, but his combat experience was pathetically low.
He had always been a blacksmith from birth, and the number of battles and beings he had killed in battle throughout his life was not even close to four figures.
He knew this, but he still believed that since Corey's physical strength was lower than his, he should be able to kill him and make him suffer.
But to his surprise and disbelief, the moment Corey's arms became covered in Primus' gauntlet form, he could not even cause a dent on Primus.
Even while using Divine Energy.
It was like a mortal man before the apocalypse trying to crush a piece of rock with his bare hands.
It was impossible.
Unfortunately for the God of Blacksmiths, Primus had devoured his Tribulation and this made him a lot more powerful.
If it was before he devoured his Tribulation, Primus would have cracked immediately.
"What is this thing made out of?"
The God of Blacksmiths looked at Primus with a stunned gaze, but Corey did not give him the luxury of the time.
Primus transferred some of the soul energy he stole from the God of Blacksmiths into Corey, and Corey felt a lot stronger.
It was like a game where wearing items and artifacts gave you bonus stats from out of nowhere.
Corey did not say a word.
He held the hands of the God of Blacksmiths, and then he twisted them.
Crack!
A loud crack resounded, and the God of Blacksmiths' eyes widened.
"What?"
Before he could even register the pain, Corey let go of his right hand, then he landed a punch squarely in the face of the God of Blacksmiths.
BANG!
The god's face was instantly deformed and broken beyond recognition, and he would have flew and tumbled a great distance if not because Corey was holding his arm.
The God of Blacksmiths could not even make a grunt because Corey did not give him the time.
A fraction of a second later, Corey pierced the heart of the incarnation of the God of Blacksmiths, then he pulled it out.
Blood gushed out of the god's chest, and the God of Blacksmiths had wide eyes as he couldn't believe what he was going on.
But Corey was not done.
He swiped his clawed hands at the god's face, and split his face and neck into five different pieces.
A second later, the incarnation of the God of Blacksmiths fell to the ground without a head and no sign of life in him.
Corey had killed a God's Incarnation, and the world and other gods were utterly silent.
