Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1132: 1129: Deterring The Gods

Corey teleported close to the entrance of the temple of the God of Living Constructs, and after taking just three steps in the Divine Kingdom, the familiar presence of the twelve gods filled the Divine Kingdom.

"What is the meaning of this, boy?" The Storm God looked at Corey with a dark frown.

Corey had been completely disrespectful ever since they appeared before him, and it was like he was looking down on them and could not bother to treat them like gods.

The way he acted and was completely indifferent towards them was like he was the true god, and they were just mortals to him.

It was completely infuriating.

Corey glanced at the Storm God with a calm and indifferent gaze, and much to the anger of the Storm God, he turned and began walking to the entrance of the Temple.

"Where do you think-"

WHOOSH!

BANG!

The Storm God was about to move and grab Corey, but a massive metallic hand slapped the ground in front of him, and the gods were forced to retreat out of the Divine Kingdom with wide eyes filled with a mixture of caution, wariness, and disbelief.

The colossal kneeling puppet slowly stood to full height with the Temple in its palm, and its cold gaze on the twelve gods.

"Like I said, I have things I need to do. I've entertained you guys enough, so when I'm done and free, I'll meet with you guys."

He slowly and indifferently looked at the Storm God.

"If you have a problem waiting, then you can try to destroy it and either capture me or kill me. Do whatever you want."

"Goodbye."

Without waiting for a response, Corey indifferently and calmly walked into the entrance of the temple, completely ignoring and disrespecting the twelve gods.

The gods could not count how many times Corey's pride, confidence, and calmness had stunned them, and they had a feeling it would always continue to stun them.

How could a mortal be so confident facing twelve gods?

They just could not understand it.

However, the moment they looked at the colossal puppet that was staring at them with cold, lifeless eyes, they wondered if the puppet was what truly gave Corey the boldness to be indifferent and calm toward them.

"How does he have a Half-Step Tier 12 puppet obeying him? That should not be possible." The Goddess of Ice said with a completely confused expression.

She was not the only person who had the same question in her mind. The others did too.

Although they could see that the puppet was not fully functional and could not use its full power, the power it had was still immense for all of them to face.

In its fully functional state, the colossal puppet could even battle their true bodies and if it had a good and talented puppet master, they could lose their lives.

As incarnations, some of them were as strong as Tier 8s and some were as strong as Tier 9s.

Tier 9 was the limit for incarnations they possessed, and despite the fact that the puppet was damaged and weakened, it could still kill many of them and even all of them.

The difference between Tier 9 and Tier 10 was greater than the difference between Immortals and Astral Beings.

And the colossal puppet was not a Tier 10, not a Tier 11, but a half-step Tier 12 puppet.

The difference between them and the puppet was far too great, and it would be foolish of them to risk the lives of their incarnations and the state of their true bodies because of Corey.

It was just not worth it.

"Whose Divine Kingdom is this? I can see that the God is dead." The Lion God asked with visible curiousity in his voice as he looked at the colossal puppet and the Divine Kingdom with interest.

"The God of Living Constructs." The Martial God replied with a solemn tone and a complicated expression.

He had his arms folded, and his posture was utterly calm as he stared in the direction of the Temple.

"The God of Living Constructs? Who is that? I've never heard of such a god before? With a puppet this powerful and a Divine Kingdom with so many precious resources and with so many details, he should have been a popular god." The Serpent Goddess looked at the Martial God with visible intrigue and also confusion in her gaze.

The Martial God remained silent for a

moment, then he released a soft sigh.

"He was one of the old gods, like me, the Sun God, the Sun God, and the Goddess of Earth."

"I guess he died in the last Great War... After the war ended, he was one of the few gods to have gone missing. We could not find his corpse or remnants of his Divine Kingdom."

"We thought everything about him had been completely destroy by the enemy, but I guess that was wrong. He most likely died here."

The gods had a complicated expression, and the way they looked at the Divine Kingdom and the colossal puppet changed.

The history regarding the old gods, the Great War, and the unfathomably powerful enemy they faced was a tragic story amongst the gods, and many gods respected the old gods.

Though some had a different view about them.

"But how come a newly integrating planet is able to hold the weight of a Divine Kingdom? That should not be possible."

The Lion God's brows furrowed, then he looked at the Water Goddess with a tinge of suspicion.

"Your temple is the closest to this place, and this strange and uncomfortable sea is your region. Did you know about this?"

Everybody looked at Oshimiri, the Water Goddess, but she was as calm as a lake.

She shook her head. "I didn't. My followers are not strong enough to reach this depths. The inhabitants of this world call this sea the Black Sea, and it's one of the most dangerous places in this world."

"If I knew about it, I would have prevented you guys from finding out about it no matter what."

"Hmm." The Lion God stroked his chin in contemplation.

"Then how was that kid able to-"

"Sorry to cut you short, Lion God. But we have a bigger problem. I believe there are more Divine Kingdoms in this Black Sea." The Martial God said with a grave expression.
