Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1133: 1130: A Terrible Curse

"We have a bigger problem. I believe there are more Divine Kingdoms in this Black Sea."

"What?"

The moment the Martial God said these words, the other gods were taken aback.

They looked around and spread their perception outside the Divine Kingdom of the God of Living Constructs. At first, they didn't sense anything, but then they began to notice the existence of other Divine Kingdoms in the familiar barriers of the Universal System.

The moment they sensed the barriers of the Universal System, they quickly withdrew their senses.

Because they were gods and were also not inhabitants of New Earth, they knew that if they even dared to fully touch the barriers with their senses, the Universal System would attack them immediately with full force.

And the chances of them surviving the attack would be as tiny as a thread.

"Why are there so many Divine Kingdoms in this world? What is the Universal System planning?" The Ice Goddess asked with a deep frown while looking at the Martial God.

The Martial God also had a deep and dark gaze as he pondered on everything he had seen and noticed.

"I don't know. But it should be something significant." He said after a few seconds.

Lucifer, the God of Darkness chuckled with a light smile. "I told my followers to build a temple and introduce my religion to this world because it's a Blessed World. Now, it seems like this world has more secrets."

The gods remained silent, then they looked at the Temple on the palm of the colossal puppet.

"What's that cube? It's very impressive. Was it made by the God of Living Constructs?" The Goddess of Ice asked with visible curiosity in her eyes.

"Can't you sense his aura on the cube? It was clearly made by him, but I believe he had some help from the equipment of the God of Living Constructs. If you had common sense, I'm sure you would have realized that by now." The Goddess of Serpents scoffed while giving the Ice Goddess a look of disdain.

A vein popped in the Ice Goddess' temple, and she gave the Goddess of Serpents a dangerous smile while clenching her fists.

"Bitch. It seems you're tired of your disgustingly long tongue. It's as foul as your nature and the hole in between your legs."

The Goddess of Serpents froze and her body trembled for a second before she looked at the Ice Goddess with a bright smile and smiling narrowed eyes.

"Do you want to die that badly?"

"A snake who can only win by trickery wants to defeat me? In your dreams, bitch." The Ice Goddess gave a cold smile, and the space between the two Goddesses changed and became heavy as their glares and auras reached one another.

Some of the gods attempted to stop the two goddesses, while some were focused on Corey.

For example, the Martial God, the Sun God, and the God of Miracles was focused on Corey.

A few other gods were also observing Corey in curiosity, and one was barely holding in his killing intent.

The Storm God.

Aside from the Storm God who could not wait to tear Corey apart, the others were thinking of everything Corey had done in their presence.

'He's also very talented in spatial arts. He was able to teleport away from twelve gods. Our presence makes it more difficult for even Immortals to teleport, but a mortal teleported away from us.'

'Boy... Just who are you? And what is your story?' The Martial God's lips curled up slightly with immense intrigue.

He looked at the skies, and his gaze seemed to pierce through the protections of New Earth and reached an unknown distance and location.

He blinked, and a massive golden eye that seemed to span the entire universe appeared before his gaze.

He stared at the golden eye for a second before shifting his gaze back to Corey.

'I wonder if you'll be able to set our universe free in the end... But I doubt it. Our enemies are unfathomable, and those who left the universe and came back have given us no hope.'

A complicated light flashed in his eyes, then he shook his head and let out a light sigh.

'Let's just seen what he plans on doing. He'll cross that bridge if he's able to get there.'

(Inside The Forge)

Corey stood before the worktable with slightly furrowed brows.

On the worktable was Primus in his base form, and Corey's frown deepened the more he stared at Primus.

After Primus killed and devoured the spirit, soul, and Will of the God of Blacksmith and his incarnation, Corey noticed something he hadn't noticed in Primus.

Primus was cursed.

Because he devoured his Tribulation, the Heavens had cursed him. And from what Corey saw, the curse was called... The Curse of Hunger.

Like a normal human, once Primus was not fed once in a while, he would get hungry, and the hungrier he gets, the more dangerous he becomes.

Primus had to be fed either a weapon, a person's Will, spirit, or soul, or a precious metal and ore.

And what troubled Corey slightly was that he had to be fed everyday like a normal mortal human.

However, the greater the quality of the 'food', the longer Primus could stay without being fed.

But once he was hungry, he had to be fed once again.

If Primus was not fed and he reached a point where he became seriously hungry and could not control himself, he would either look for weapons himself in a state of madness or he would look for living beings to kill and then devour their souls, spirits, and Wills... If they possessed Wills.

And the hungrier he became, the more food he would need.

Because Corey had not experienced such a thing before, he was not certain what to expect, but he was expecting the worst.

With how powerful Primus was, if he went on a rampage and began killing living beings on New Earth to satiate his hunger, Corey doubted if his hunger would be easily satiated.

Primus was a divine weapon.

No

He was greater than a divine weapon, and the souls of mortals and mystic beings would not easily satiate his hunger, especially once it reached a crucial stage.

Primus could potentially wipe out the entire planet and his hunger would still not be satiated.

It was a curse one might not think much of, but to Corey who was taking into account the possible worst case scenarios and many factors.

It was a terrible curse which bothered him greatly.
