The Curse of Hunger in Primus was one of concern to Corey, and despite his and Primus' attempts in trying to remove the curse, he could not.
The curse was far too powerful, and he had a feeling that even True Gods would struggle to remove the curse.
Since you love to devour, you will be eternally hungry.
This was the feeling Corey got from the curse, and after thinking of a billion scenarios and a trillion calculations, he eventually calmed down and released a soft sigh.
As usual, he would find a way to solve this problem.
"You really are a handful, Primus."
Corey affectionately rubbed Primus, and he released a soft thrum.
Corey smiled, then he gently picked up Primus and inspected him with a slightly raised brow.
"Now, what grade have you reached, Primus? I'm still a mortal and my senses and knowledge is not enough to figure out your grade. But I believe you're clearly a divine weapon, right?"
Ohm!
Primus thrummed and released a light sound. Corey frowned at first, but then his eyes widened slightly in surprise.
"You're serious?"
Ohm!
"Damn... A peak grade Origin weapon? You're already an Origin Grade weapon... I definitely did not expect that." Corey muttered softly in surprise.
The Grading System of Weapons
Before Corey obtained all the knowledge of the Silver Elves, his knowledge about the grades of weapons was little.
The grades of weapons majority of the universe were used to was the ROYGBIV grading system.
Many lived their lives believing that the strongest weapons and artifacts were of the Violet Grade, not knowing that Violet Grade weapons was just the beginning.
The ROYGBIV grading system was meant for mortals, astral beings, and mystic beings.
Red Grade weapons were meant for Mortals.
Orange Grade, Yellow Grade, and Green Grade weapons were meant for Astral Beings (Tier 1 - Tier 3).
Blue Grade, Indigo Grade, and Violet Grade weapons were meant for Mystic Beings (Tier 4 - Tier 6).
The weapon grading system for Immortals was vastly different from the grading systems of Mortals, Astral Beings, and Mystic Beings.
The Grading System of Immortal Weapons was: Transcendent Grade Weapons, Empyrean Grade Weapons, and Zenith Grade Weapons.
Transcendent Grade Weapons were for Tier 7s.
Empyrean Grade Weapons were for Tier 8s.
And Zenith Grade Weapons were for Tier 9s or Demi-Gods.
As for God-level weapons or Divine weapons, they were: Dominion Grade Weapons, Sovereign Grade Weapons, and Origin Grade Weapons.
Dominion Grade Weapons were meant for Tier 10s or Lesser Gods.
Sovereign Grade Weapons were meant for Tier 11s or Greater Gods.
And Origin Grade Weapons were meant for Tier 12s or True Gods.
Unlike the ROYGBIV grading system, each grade of Immortal and Divine weapons had four sub-grades.
Low grade.
Mid grade.
High grade.
And peak grade.
The difference between a sub-grade was vast, and the difference between a major grade was unfathomable.
Primus was a peak Origin Weapon, and Corey was immensely surprised by this.
He believed that at best, Primus would be a low grade Dominion weapon.
He was not arrogant to believe that he could craft a Divine Weapon as a mortal even with his talents.
There were several reasons why he believed this, and one of them was very crucial.
He could manipulate Divine Energy.
Crafting a Divine Weapon of any grade needed the crafter to be able to use or manipulate Divine Energy, and he could not.
In fact, Corey believed that if the weapon he crafted came out as a Divine Weapon, he had crafted rubbish.
A mortal might be extremely happy and full of pride if they did this, but not Corey.
For him to be able to craft a Divine Weapon despite not having the ability to be able to control Divine Energy, then that means that the metals, ores, and ingredients were of extremely high quality.
It was similar to a Blacksmith using metals with mystic energy in them to craft a sword, and at the end of the day, the sword came out as a Green Grade Weapon. A weapon that was meant for Tier 3s, the peak of the Astral Realm.
Knowledgeable and experienced Blacksmiths would lament at the waste of materials, and insults would even be thrown with fury at the Blacksmith by other Blacksmiths.
The same could be said for Corey.
If Primus ended up as a Divine Grade Weapon after he finished crafting him, that meant he had wasted the metals and several ingredients he used.
It also meant that the metals and ingredients he used were far more precious than he could even imagine for the end result to be a Divine Weapon.
Fortunately for Corey, Primus was not a Divine Weapon when he was done crafting him.
Primus was a peak Zenith Weapon when Corey finished crafting him, and this was more in line with what Corey expected.
But after Corey performed the naming rite and gave him his name, he became a peak grade Dominion Weapon.
And after he devoured his Tribulation, he became a peak Origin Grade Weapon.
Devouring the soul, spirit, and Will of the God of Blacksmiths strengthened Primus' foundation.
Apparently, because the first two things he devoured after being born was a Tribulation and a God, Primus' foundation was extremely sturdy and powerful even amongst other Origin Grade Weapons.
As Corey looked at Primus who was in his base form, he was... Very pleased.
A peak Origin Weapon... Why wouldn't the gods want Primus for themselves?
And the best part?
Corey could bring out a significant portion of Primus' power.
He was still a mortal, so he could not bring out so much... Only about 60% of Primus' power.
And the reason for this is because he used his soul, spirit, and Will to create Primus.
'I wonder if I'll be able to fully use Primus if I'm successful in changing my race.'
The thought of the potential future put a smile on Corey's lips, then he waved his hand a second later.
The crystal sphere containing the six weapon spirits of his past weapons appeared before him.
'I'm curious what would happen if you devour all these Weapons Spirits.'
