Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1141: 1138: Battling The Tribulation

If one should ever tell Corey that he would be in a situation where he would be frozen on the spot because of fear.

As a mortal, he has faced and experienced beings and powers that mortals and even Immortals should not face.

He was a mortal that could face Immortals and even Incarnations of gods without trembling or kneeling due to fear.

An average or even talented mortal would instantly fall on their knees if they were in Corey's shoes the moment he was surrounded by the incarnations of twelve gods.

But Corey was not an average or your typical mortal, he was a talented Mortal Demi-Paragon.

That carried more weight than one could imagine.

But in the face of the Heavenly Executor, he was like a mice before a snake.

He was the prey, and the Heavenly Executor was the predator.

He was the accused, and the Heavenly Executor was the judge.

He was... He was going to die.

Corey knew this, and he was doing all he could to make his body move, but he couldn't.

Aside from the fear, the pressure was too much for him to bear.

'Damn it!'

Just as Corey was racking his brain on what to do, the chest piece of Prima suddenly lit up with a dim white glow.

The fine cracks that spread across her body lit up, and the cracks turned, twisted, transformed, and then they resembled runes.

Primus also trembled, and runes also appeared across his body.

Corey wondered what was going on, but to his surprise, he was able to move.

He nearly stumbled over, but he quickly controlled his body in a split second.

He looked at Primus and Prima. "I see. Thanks guys."

Through his Eyes of Omniscience, Corey could see a strange type of energy that flickered in and out across his body.

It flowed across his body, and it was barely visible even to his Eyes of Omniscience.

It was like a higher form of energy, an energy that was much more power than Divine Energy.

Despite using his Eyes of Omniscience, the energy was like a haze in his sight, and it looked like he was seeing things. Like what he was seeing was not real.

Corey later understood that Primus had shared this higher form of energy to Prima so that she could protect his body from the aura of the Heavenly Executor.

What Primus was releasing was a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the true power of the energy, and the reason for this was because it was just a Semi-Omega Grade Weapon.

Not a true Omega Grade Weapon.

And also because Corey was too weak to handle the energy or assist him in controlling the energy.

Primus was able to transfer this energy to Prima because they both possessed Corey's Will, spirit, and soul, they were made out of nearly the same materials, because of a runic formation that connected both of them on an intrinsic level, and also because their names were extremely similar to one another.

Although Prima was not of the same grade as Primus, she was able to handle the energy because of her desire to protect Corey and also because of Primus.

'Thanks guys. I promise not to let you down.'

A determined light flashed in Corey's eyes as he stared at the Heavenly Executor who had stopped descending and was staring at him with its face that was made out of golden lightning.

Corey's gaze was utterly focused on the Heavenly Executor, and a silent but extremely tense staredown occurred between Corey and the Heavenly Executor.

A drop of sweat slowly slid down the side of his temple as Corey's mind was in full overdrive.

His pure white eyes remained unblinking.

An unknown amount of time passed, and the moment Corey perceived a change in the Heavenly Executor's intent, he attacked first.

But he didn't attack it directly.

"Now!"

Corey shouted, and Prima's wings flapped, distancing him away from the Heavenly Executor.

Two colossal metal hands shot out from the Black Sea, and the hands clapped with so much force that about 80% of the Black Sea was swept away by the force of the clap.

The resulting shockwave destroyed the nearby settlements and even killed the unlucky humans, beasts, and monsters that had not escaped from the vicinity of the Black Sea.

Deaths, screams, cries, chaos, and tragedies occurred as a result of just a single clap, but Corey did not care about any of that.

His gaze did not leave the hands of the colossal puppet of the God of Living Constructs, and although he wished he could see through the body of the colossal puppet with his Eyes of Omniscience, he could not because the colossal puppet was too high tiered for him.

'That can't be all... Right?' Corey frowned deeply, and he waited.

Exactly three seconds later, alarms that could shatter buildings and mountains with how loud they were resounded heavily in Corey's mind.

His brows furrowed turned into a frown, and he was about to react, but to his surprise, he realized that his body had already moved before his mind could.

'Huh?'

BOOOOOOM!!!!

"Huh?"

Corey's eyes widened in confusion, and he subconsciously looked behind him to locate the sound of the explosion.

Was another fight going on behind him?

Was it the gods?

Or Immortals?

With how loud it was and the power it contained, it should surely be the gods.

These thoughts and many others flowed in Corey's mind, but the moment his gaze landed on the scene behind him, he stopped breathing for a second.

Behind him was a crater so wide that it could fit a hundred stadiums placed side by side, and a crater so deep that it could form an ocean.

This crater had scorch marks along with remnant flashes of a familiar golden lightning streaking across the crater.

Gush

Drip

Corey suddenly felt a stinging pain by his right side, and when he looked down, his eyes widened when he saw that a fist sized hole could be seen in his waist, making it to look like a half-moon.

"Huh? What? When?"
