Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1162: 1159: 49%

Corey calmly removes the bandages off his arms and body, then he stood.

Pamela's eyes flashed with a a solemn light as Corey stretched and made cracking sounds with some of his bones.

Corey looked at her, then he spoke.

"Were you able to fully understand the runes I gave you?"

Pamela raised her brows and looked at Corey with a deadpan expression.

"Really? I don't even understand up to 50% of those runes. If you tell me that they're the most complex runes in existence, I won't doubt you."

She looked down and softly clenched her left hand.

"I'm still too weak to fully understand runes of that level."

Primus and Prima flew in front of Pamela, then they both held her cheeks.

"Don't be down, future mama." Prima said, and Primus nodded.

"Yeah. Don't be sad. Once you give us a younger brother, you'll no longer be weak."

Prima glared at Primus while putting her hands on her hips. "And who said it's going to be a boy? It might be a girl. No. I want a girl."

Primus sneered. "It's going to be a boy. Wasn't I born before you?"

A vein popped on Prima's temple, then she clenched her tiny right fist.

"It seems you want to die."

Primus scoffed with an arrogant expression. "You're too weak to kill me."

After saying this Prima charged at Primus, and both of them 'fought' while shouting at one another.

Corey's right eye twitched numerous times as he watched the two loud troublemakers he created, and he could not help but wonder if his creations would not be the end of him instead.

Corey released a tired sigh, meanwhile, Pamela had a soft smile as she watched Primus and Prima lighten the mood.

Whether they did it on purpose or subconsciously, she didn't know. But their antics drastically lessened the anxiousness in her heart.

"How much of the runes were you able to understand since you couldn't understand up to half of it?"

Corey's voice drifted into her ears, and she was forced to take her attention off Primus and Prima.

"49%. I was only able to understand 49% of the runes. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't understand up to 50%."

Corey's lips twitched, and he had the urge to smack Pamela in the face.

When she told him that she did not understand up to 50% of the runes, he thought she was only able to understand between 20-35% of the runes.

Not 49%

49% was extremely close to 50%, but Corey also understood that the single percentage that was preventing her from reaching 50% would be insurmountable to others who did not possess her talent.

Even he did not understand up to 49% of the two runes he gave her, and this was after spending so much time with them and also possessing thousands of Stars of Consciousness.

He only understood 42% of the two runes, and this just went to show just how unbelievable her talent was.

She had used less than a week to understand up to 49% of the two extremely complex runes, and she did not possess thousands of Stars of Consciousness.

'If our two talents are combined together, the result would be extremely terrifying. The talent of a Rune Sage and the talent of Omniscience.'

The moment Corey had this thought, his mind suddenly went to Pamela's request of a child.

A part of him which always wanted to experiment the unknown felt it would be interesting to see what sort of child they would produce.

Would it not be interesting to know how their child would turn out?

Corey instantly banished such thoughts from his head with a terrified expression and cold sweat on his back.

'Damn it. Thinking like that is worse than what I blamed Pamela for.'

Corey shook his head slightly, then he looked at the top of his left hand where his Universal Brand was.

'I only thought she'll be able to learn at most 30% of the runes, and that was me being completely optimistic. But she's surprised me.'

'With her level of understanding, the chances of success should be greater.'

The two runes Corey had given Pamela was the cube of esoteric runes he recorded from Prince Zakar'el Eron'Lethe of the Letherions.

He recorded this cube of esoteric runes when the Prince was trying to activate Rhea's bloodline, and he took a huge risk in trying to record the runes.

The second rune he gave Pamela was the Void rune. This was the rune he ignorantly saw when he accidentally entered the Void and the Paragon Ancestor's wife has to save him.

This rune sent him shivers even now, and despite his Record ability, there were many missing parts of the Void rune, making it incomplete.

However, despite its incompleteness, it was even more dangerous and complex than the cube of esoteric runes.

'When I recorded the cube of esoteric runes, I had no idea it would have a use like this. I only wanted to understand it because it was something created by a being who was close to the level of the Paragon Ancestor.'

'But it turns out the gamble I took turned out right.'

Corey shifted his gaze to Pamela, then he clapped.

The world turned grey and a ripple slowly moved across the world.

As the ripple moved across the world, every equipment and object that was used in the creation of Primus and Prima slowly vanished out of existence.

Pamela, Primus, and Prima looked around in surprise, but to their disbelief, they found out that they were moving extremely slowly in this grey world.

Corey had slowed down time to nearly a standstill.

A few moments later, the grey world vanished, and the Forge was now empty.

No longer was it filled with forging equipment. Aside from Divine's golden flames and a few unimportant chairs

Pamela, Primus, and Prima looked around in curiosity and surprise. Then they looked at Corey.

When they saw that his eyes were bleeding, they had concerned expressions.

"Are you okay, Corey?" Pamela asked, and Corey nodded.

"Yeah."

Corey wiped away the blood from his eyes, then he stretched out his hand at Pamela.

"Come. Let's enter my Sea of Consciousness and destroy the brand."
