The Martial Unity

Chapter 3735: A New Field of Martial Art

"Shut up and get beaten," Rui growled as he unleashed a ferocious flurry of attacks.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

Each blow achieved a critical impact, inflicting much greater damage than a blow from Rui would have normally achieved. Rui managed to squeeze the most from each and every ounce of energy, using it to bring about the greatest impact on battle.

CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK!

Despite possessing a body that was vastly greater than Rui's in volume and raw power, Sentinel Prime found himself at a loss, unable to protect himself from Rui's attacks.

NOVA desperately leveraged all of her processing power to try and predict the outcome of the battle, and yet—

WHOOSH

Rui effortlessly evaded a heavy punch laced with plasma, not even bothering to try and absorb the power, before charging forth at the sentinel's throat.

BANG!!!!!

Sentinel Prime choked for a moment, incapacitated as Rui flew across his large body, inflicting a myriad of attacks, each targeting molecular structural weaknesses across the sentinel's body.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!

Each blow was an instantaneous impact that lasted just the briefest of moments, causing cracks to emerge across the technological systems of the sentinel's body. The impacts struck like bullets striking glass, fracturing parts of the sentinel's body.

"Ragh!" Sentinel Prime swung at Rui, threatening to catch him in his giant hands and crush him like an insect.

WHOOSH!

Rui smoothly shot between his fingers, evading the grab, before launching himself at Sentinel Prime like a cannonball.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

"Tsk! Just die already!" Sentinel Prime ignored the attacks as he unleashed all of his weapon systems at Rui, including but not limited to lasers, plasma, missiles, explosives, and plain old hands.

And yet, not a single one of those attacks could so much as even touch Rui.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

He evaded all of them smoothly.

NOVA deployed all of her processing power to predict his trajectories and catch him.

And yet, it was all for naught.

"I didn't just replace half of my body with evosapien physiology, I also replaced half my brain with it."

Sentinel Prime's eyes widened with shock as Rui charged straight into an onslaught of attack with a perfectly calm expression.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

He weaved past all of them like they didn't even exist.

With half of his brain comprising evosapien neurons, he had access to possibilities that were beyond his fathoming, even in the past.

"I can accelerate my processing extraordinarily by making my evosapien neurons more electro-conductive, greatly reducing the amount of time it takes for electric signals to flow in my brain."

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

He evaded each and every single attack thrown by Sentinel Prime as his ethereal eyes sharpened with determination.

"It may not be as powerful as a quantum supercomputer, but you cannot leverage the full extent of your processing power while remotely controlling another's body."

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!

Sentinel Prime shuddered as Rui permeated his impact deeper, exploiting internal molecular structural weaknesses to crack within his body. Causing his technological systems to begin failing.

His cybernetic eyes flared with frustration as they bore deep into the calm and composed ethereal eyes Rui possessed.

NOVA knew she couldn't beat him with Sentinel Prime's body.

She had failed even when she had two powerful allies, both of whom were gone.

[Then… at the very least…]

Sentinel Prime turned towards the Kandrian Empire.

VMMM…!

He charged up his plasma cannons, threatening to unleash unbridled destruction upon the Kandrian Empire even from an extraordinarily great distance away.

"I'm afraid not."

Rui's ethereal voice was calm and composed.

Unconcerned by the threat of destruction.

VMMM…

The plasma cannon powered down as Sentinel Prime's cybernetic eyes widened with shock. "What… but it's still intact."

NOVA sent messages to it, trying to activate it once more.

But it refused to yield.

As if some other authority had claimed dominion over it.

"I hacked it."

Sentinel Prime shook at those words as he turned towards Rui. "You what?!"

"What, did you think you were the only one who could hack cyborgs on the fly?" Rui smiled as he applied his latest technique to the sentinel.

"I shall call this… hm, let's see, how about 'Bio-organic Cyber Infiltration Martial Art?'"

It was a brand-new field of Martial Art that Rui had pioneered just a moment prior with the upgrade of Forge of Creation. In the past, such a thing would have been unthinkable for any Martial Art, including Rui.

But with his evosapien half, he was no longer limited to merely fists or other brute-force techniques.

"Did you think all of the blows I struck your body with were just to inflict damage?"

Sentinel Prime glanced down at the wounds across his electromagnetically reinforced flesh armor and the cracks in his body with microscopic vision.

His cybernetic eyes widened as he saw a host of evosapien cells discharged into the wound, making their way into his body. Rui had realized that Sentinel Prime was being controlled against his will with a single glance. He could sense with his SOUL System that the will of the brain in the skull of the body was different from the actions the body was taking.

The cells he had inserted into the sentinel's body through the wounds and cracks hijacked the photonics systems that ran through his entire body, physically seizing control of them as they began to determine which light signals could be allowed to pass through and which couldn't.

He could even alter the evosapien cells genetically to mimic the light signals to commence a cyber-infiltration attack.

It was unfortunate that he knew nothing about information technology or how hacking actually worked, where he couldn't get rid of NOVA, but he was able to reduce her control over the body through his manual takeover.

"Damn you!" Sentinel Prime snarled. "Activating suppression flush systems!"

"It's not going to work," Rui smirked. "My evosapien cells can adaptively evolve to anything."

FSSSH!!!

A strange smoke seemed to flush out of all the openings in the sentinel's body.

Yet, it was all for naught.

NOVA couldn't stop the evosapien cells Rui had injected into the sentinel's body from hijacking the communications within it.
