Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear

Chapter 301: I Want To Join Your Club!

These people at the Healing Arts Club had such serious faces as they talked. However, nothing that came out of their mouths even made any sense.

What kind of chef will let the ingredients cook themselves? And their maid was actually a genius 16-year-old but was already the almighty and overbearing idol?

Listening to this nonsense, these people felt pity for the blonde's love of his life.

Finally, Xu Jiji stopped asking and also leaned back in his seat. Miles turned off the scenario and glanced at the people who had halted from moving.

"How long will you take to move those things?" Miles asked, annoyed.

Instantly, the people that the Elite Club hired to move the things out of Room 434 moved again.

"People still have time to gossip while working."

Just as Xu Jiji settled himself, he felt his phone vibrate. Immediately, he took it out to examine it.

[Mission 1 Accomplished!

Create a Flower Garden recruiting hub at Gyeongwon Affiliated High School.

Reward: I'm Not Built For This!]

Xu Jiji read the reward, utterly confused. Just then, he tapped it to read its description.

[I'm Not Built For This: This is a new feature that would help you detect an Unaffiliated Entity within range. Don't ask about its name. The system is not built for this!]

The corners of Xu Jiji's mouth twitched. Yuzuka noticed the discrepancy in his expression and worriedly stared at him.

"What's wrong?"

Turning his head toward her, Xu Jiji's expression turned into a wry smile. "I just received a reward from our first side mission."

"Really?" Yuzuka immediately beamed into a smile. "What is it?"

Xu Jiji showed the description to her and Miles.

"... What a great timing," Miles exclaimed.

Xu Jiji nodded.

"I just complained right now, and suddenly, a new feature has been rewarded to them?" Miles turned to Yoo Gyeo.

"W-Why are you looking at me?"

"This is completely unfair!"

Immediately, Yuzuka intervened. "Well, it's a good thing! We don't have to search every Life Book for all the applicants later."

"Um..." A voice also snatched the attention of everyone from the table.

They turned toward the source of the voice and saw a bunch of students already standing before them.

"Are you recruiting?" one of the students asked.

"Yes! We're in the middle of recruitment! Would you like to sign up?" Xu Jiji stood up and frantically extended several registrations in front of them.

Just earlier, this place was deserted, but now, there were countless heads trying to peek from behind others in front of them.

'How did so many people gather here already?'

The students stared at the papers and briefly turned toward the door of the club room. There, members of the Elite Club were moving out their equipment.

Upon noticing the gazes from the students, Roxie, who had just arrived in front of the Elite Club's room and observing the people moving their equipment out of Room 434, glanced at them, her gaze as sharp as ever. The students stepped back a little.

"Hmph!"

With her ponytail swaying left and right, she proceeded inside their own club room.

Whispers filled the hallway.

"It's really true!"

"They really kicked the Elite Club out of their room!"

"I like them already!"

"Let's join, let's join!"

'So this was the reason why they're all here... Who spread the fake news?'

They didn't kick these Elites out! This room wasn't theirs to begin with.

Well, it doesn't matter because of this rumor, there was a surge of applications coming their way. They didn't even need to advertise themselves to get an application.

In a way, their lives had been made easier. Besides, they didn't intend to recruit Entities solely. They needed more manpower for the upcoming Founding Festival too.

Seeing this, the members of the Elite Club who was peeking from their club room's door couldn't help but gnash their teeth. Their misfortune is the other's fortune!

Among the members of the Elite Club, there was actually a familiar student: Lee Seoha. Her eyes continued to stare daggers at them, especially at Yoo Gyeo.

Although she had no impression of this twerp before, after crossing Choi Jaehan once, she had imprinted this shorty in her mind forever.

"You actually dared to fight Roxie and Jaehan?" Lee Seoha mumbled under her breath.

...

Once the surge of students calmed down and dispersed, Xu Jiji and the others who were left in the hallway, stared at the number of applicants that was listed in their paper.

"213..." Xu Jiji muttered and glanced at his clubmates.

"What do we do about this?" Miles asked as he looked at the stack of papers that stood tall on their table.

There were too many applicants, yet they didn't even encounter a single Entity at all!

Just as the members of the Healing Arts Club were feeling a throbbing ache in their heads, there was a sudden commotion from the other room.

"Kris, what do you mean by this?!"

Roxie's voice travelled throughout the hallway, followed by two sets of footsteps. Miles and the others turned their heads toward the Elite Club's direction, waiting.

Soon, two familiar figures appeared by the door. The first one to exit was the tall guy together with the green-haired solo rapper, followed by Roxie. She was holding a paper in her hands.

Once she was able to barely catch up with the guy, she grabbed him by his arm, which forced him to halt his steps and face her.

The girl raised the paper before his face. "What do you mean by this? Why are you quitting?!"

The guy didn't answer right away. This reaction annoyed her further.

"Why aren't you responding?!"

"You just treat me like a dog, so why are you stopping me from quitting?"

Roxie bit her lips.

Seeing that she was unresponsive, he moved her hands from his arm and began to walk away. Whispers from the onlookers once again filled the hallway.

"What's this? A couple's quarrel?"

"What quarrel? This is clearly a scene of betrayal!"

The two members of the Elite Club ignored them.

Meanwhile, the guy's eyes were fixed on Healing Arts Club's table.

"Why do I feel like this guy is heading toward us?" Miles said.

Xu Jiji and the rest nodded in response.

Indeed, he was walking toward their table. A few moments later, he was already in front of them. Slamming his hands on the table, he looked down at them.

"Are you still accepting applicants?"

"Huh?" Roxie and the students watching the scene exclaimed simultaneously.

"....." The members of the Healing Arts Club were rendered speechless.

Miles stared at him, and then at Xu Jiji, then back at him again.

Unable to wait for their response any longer, the guy took it upon himself to decide for them. He took the pen neatly placed at the table and began listing himself among the applicants.

'What is this guy doing?'

After he finished writing his name, he slammed the pen down on the table.

"I want to join your club."

At the same time, the phone in Xu Jiji's hands vibrated.
