The next day.
Ren's alarm suddenly went off and disturbed Rayen's dreams.
He begrudgingly sat up from his bed.
"Beep," he cursed and glanced sharply at Ren.
However, Ren only returned his gaze with an indifferent one before silently walking out of the room.
'I still don't like that damned guy.'
It had been a while since Rayen experienced a very good sleep, but alas, having a good, uninterrupted sleep could just be his wishful thinking.
Now that he's awake, he did not go back to sleep again. After all, he was a student, and he needed to go to school. Still groggy from sleep, he forced himself to get out of the bed.
'Argh, I really don't want to be a student.'
Before he walked out of the door, Rayen briefly glanced at Yeo Haru's bed. However, the kid was no longer in his bed. It seemed like he even woke up earlier than Ren.
When Rayen left the room, he immediately headed to the dining area after washing his face. Mr. Big News was laying out the food he cooked on the table while Ren was already sitting on one of the seat.
Rayen decisively ignored Ren and just focused on the food. His bad mood slightly dissipated. He pulled out one chair to sit on it and happily filled his plate with food.
Just as he put a sausage in his mouth, Yeo Haru appeared in the dining area's entrance, fully donned in his school uniform.
"You're going to school?" Rayen asked. "Shouldn't you rest for a while?"
After all, he had just experienced a very traumatic event. It should be acceptable for Yeo Haru to take a break for a while.
"I... want to go."
Mr. Big News placed the last plate on the table. "Are you sure you can handle it?"
Yeo Haru nodded gently.
"Okay."
The two did not convince him to stay at the dorms. It was probably better for him to go to school since there would be no one else in here.
...
After breakfast, Rayen, Xu Jiji and Yeo Haru headed to school together. Ever since Rayen became a temporary student, Drake finally had his well-deserved break as Yeo Haru's baby sitter.
Rayen sent the two to their own classrooms while he went to his own.
The moment he entered, he felt several gazes land on him. Rayen directly headed to his seat, ignoring these gazes and glanced at Yuzuka's and Miles's empty table.
It was almost time for classes, yet they still weren't here. However, even when the bell rang and classes started, the two still hadn't appeared.
After the morning classes, Rayen headed to the club room together with Yoo Gyeo. Choi Jaehan did not bother them again, so the two girls also did not.
'Ah, what a peaceful day...'
But just as Rayen thought of these words, the corridors they were walking on was suddenly filled with murmurs. Rayen frowned and slowed down his steps. As they continued to walk, the murmurs turned louder.
Soon, he finally learned the source of these murmurs. A large crowd had gathered in front of their club room.
"... Why are there so many students outside?"
Tens of dozens of students squeezed in front of the club room's window, each trying to sneak a peek inside. With their large number, the passersby couldn't even pass by, especially, the members of the Elite Club next door.
As Roxie and Shin tried to traverse the crowd, they were blocked by students with a club member application form in their hands.
"Excuse me, is this where we can audition to Flower Garden?"
Roxie frowned in annoyance.
Meanwhile, Shin stepped in front of her and glared down at the students. "HUH?"
Seeing his dark expression, the students took a step back.
"Hey, don't block them! That's Little Miwol and her dog! Can't you recognize them?"
After hearing that, the students took even more steps back.
Roxie rolled her eyes and resumed walking.
Shin dog circled around her, trying to scare off the students. "Grrr."
"Such a nuisance," Roxie muttered.
Not far from them, Rayen watched this scene.
'What the hell is happening?'
Just then, Xu Jiji and Yeo Haru also arrived and witnessed the situation. The two stood on Rayen's left side.
Rayen glanced at them. "Why are there so many people outside our club room?"
Before Xu Jiji could even answer, the students seemed to have noticed their presence. Several gazes landed on them.
Suddenly, before Rayen knew it, they were surrounded.
"It's them! The Elite Club's nemesis!"
Roxie briefly halted her steps and glanced back at them, her face dark. She could no longer spot the members of the Healing Arts Club because of the overwhelming number of the crowd surrounding them.
"Are you still accepting members?"
"I want to join Flower Garden."
"I want to join the club who kicked out the Elite Club!"
"Jiji, jiji! Let me in the club! Aren't we friends?"
"I already submitted my application. Why won't you let me in?" one student asked.
"Uh..." Cold sweat gradually formed om Xu Jiji's forehead.
The size of this crowd was even worse than yesterday! Even Yeo Haru and Rayen were getting overwhelmed.
Only Yoo Gyeo could have an easy time. He never opened his mouth the entire time, so with his small presence, he was swept out of the encirclement by the crowd. He stood outside the encirclement, quite relaxed.
Just then, the door of Room 434 opened a crack. Yoo Gyeo noticed Yuzuka and Miles trying to peek from the inside.
"What do we do? Rayen and the others are stuck outside," Yuzuka said.
"I don't know. I don't want to think," Miles responded.
"Geez."
At that time, Gil also arrived. He first saw the large crowd before noticing Roxie not far away from them. The two's eyes locked for a moment.
Just then, Yoo Gyeo took the initiative to approach him.
"H-Hey."
Gil shifted his gaze to Yoo Gyeo. "Oh, it's you. What's happening?"
"Rayen, Jiji and Haru is getting mobbed. C-Can you help them?"
"Sure. I'll do what I can."
As he said that, he went over and pushed Room 434's door open. Yuzuka and Miles stumbled down inside.
"... What are you doing?" Gil asked.
Yuzuka immediately stood up with Miles's help.
"What are you doing?!" Miles returned his question in a sarcastic tone while massaging his butt.
"I'm helping out those guys outside." Gil walked toward one of the lockers and rummaged through it. Once he found the thing, he exclaimed, "Good. They didn't take it away."
Then, he removed his uniform, leaving only a white shirt. He strode outside the room holding the thing — a megaphone.
"Attention, attention."
Everyone's attention turned toward him.
