SSS Ranked Awakening: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 320: Desperation turns to survival—2

Leon's mind raced. Once again in this deadly battle, he used his title—the Acting related title he'd obtained way back when he was living with Seraphine in her mansion.

He explained with as much sincerity as he could fake, his voice strained.

"Those... three... were stored... in an easy place... for emergencies. But... the four more... they're scattered... around in the inventory... given to me... by my class. It's... too big... to search quickly..."

Right as he finished this explanation, Leon took one potion out of his inventory, making it seem like he'd just found it after searching.

Leon's mana had just reached one thousand, but now was not the right opportunity to act. Too risky.

The monster seemed to buy his explanation and released him while catching the potion with its other hand.

It flicked the cap off casually and then drank the contents inside, releasing pleasure-filled noises that echoed across the devastated battlefield.

Ahhhhhh! Wonderful! Such pure energy!

Each gulp sent ripples through its obsidian throat, the liquid glowing faintly before vanishing into its core with a low, ominous hum.

After finishing, it commanded him with clear impatience.

Find the other three quickly, human. Or I will just start absorbing you completely and forget about the promise I made you earlier.

But what the monster was not telling Leon was that when it eventually absorbed this planet's core in the future, the whole planet would be destroyed regardless. It didn't believe any life form would survive here unless they were extremely strong.

But I won't tell the human that. Also, I'm not technically breaking my promise—I won't harm them directly. The planet's destruction will do it for me.

The thought amused the ancient consciousness.

Leon held out as much time as he could, pretending to search through his inventory. He dragged it out until the monster seemed genuinely irritated, which took around one full minute.

He finally had to take out another potion because the monster's patience was clearly running thin, and he had no choice but to give it up.

"Here... found... another one..."

His mana had crossed twelve hundred now. It was getting closer to the perfect threshold.

Just a bit more. Need at least thirteen hundred to be safe.

The monster wasn't physically grabbing him at this moment—just watching with those burning green eyes, waiting for the remaining potions.

Leon waited a bit longer, pretending to search, trying to gain just a bit more mana recovery time.

It reached thirteen hundred.

Now. This is it.

One hundred meters was his teleportation range, and Leon had formulated his plan during this stalling. He believed it would work—it had to work.

FWOOSH!

Leon teleported within a hundred-meter radius around his current position, appearing suddenly to the monster's left.

A furious, primal scream erupted from the monster immediately.

YOU ARE DEAD, HUMAN!!! RRRRAAAHHH!!!

BOOOOOOM!

But Leon wasn't just teleporting randomly. In the same general radius, he was creating the silver-white portal leading to his time dimension, pouring mana into the spatial tear with desperate intensity.

The monster noticed the strange phenomenon—the same cursed space element that had destroyed its previous colossal form with those devastating black holes.

STOP!!! STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!!!

SWOOOOSH!

The monster arrived where Leon would emerge from his next teleportation, moving with that impossible speed that defied perception.

However, it wasn't able to touch Leon because he was teleporting again and again without even a millisecond gap between jumps—a continuous chain of spatial displacement that gave the monster no opening to grab him.

Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!

RRRAAAAAAHHH!!!

The monster's roars echoed across the battlefield, shaking the ground and splitting the air with their intensity. But Leon didn't stop. He teleported again and again, burning through his mana reserves like water but maintaining the portal creation simultaneously.

CRRRAAACK! WHUMMM!

The portal was forming—the silver-white tear in reality growing larger with each passing second.

Just a few more seconds. Come on!

It would take a few seconds total for him to make the portal stable enough to enter. Now only one second was left, and it would be complete. He just had to teleport in front of the entrance and move through—everything would be perfect.

The monster's roaring stopped suddenly.

That silence was more terrifying than the screams.

Leon's spatial awareness detected the monster standing directly at the entrance of the portal, blocking it completely.

Fuck!

Leon freaked out internally, but he continued with his plan. There was no turning back now.

The monster's deep, guttural voice came—almost amused despite the fury beneath.

Haha! You are done for, human! You are clever, I'll grant you that. But you will NEVER enter this portal while I watch. After absorbing you, I will kill everything on this planet. Every. Single. Life.

Its voice turned sinister, dripping with malice.

I will make sure nothing survives.

An ache bloomed in his chest—not from pain, but from helplessness. The thought of Seraphine dying because of him made something crack inside.

Leon's blood boiled with rage at the threat, but he didn't get distracted. He continued his teleportation pattern, his mind calculating the final move.

WHUMMM!

The portal was complete—fully formed and stable, the silver-white gateway swirling with dimensional energy.

Now!

Leon teleported directly in front of the monster, appearing just barely outside its immediate reach. This was a gamble—everything depended on the next second.

His heart thundered like a war drum—each beat carrying Seraphine's name, every breath driven by the image of her smiling face.

As soon as he materialized, Leon poured everything he had into a single word.

"FREEEEEEZZZE!!!"

CRACK! THUMMM!

The monster's body froze in front of him, its hand suspended just over his neck. There was a hint of shock in those green flaming eyes—as if it hadn't anticipated this move.

But Leon didn't wait even a fraction of a moment.

WHAM!

He tackled the frozen body with his full enhanced strength, throwing his entire weight against the eighteen-foot monster.

Both of them were launched through the portal entrance together, tumbling into the swirling dimensional gateway.

FWOOOOSH!

The silver-white portal snapped shut right after they passed through, sealing itself as Leon's mana was completely spent—utterly depleted down to nothing.

WHUMMM... silence...

The devastated battlefield fell quiet, empty except for the massive destruction left behind.

Leon and the monster had vanished completely, pulled into the time dimension where different rules applied.

The silence left behind was not peace—but the breathless pause before a cosmic storm.
