BAM!!

A huge boar beast slammed on Noah's shield. It's tusks hitting right on the center of the shield, pushing Noah back, making him slid back along the ground.

"NOW!" Noah shouted out.

Immediately a runic magic circle appeared below the beast. the ground started turning soft and changed into a muddy swamp pit. The boar's legs sunk inside and got stuck in the mud.

Ruby had trained in some support spells after joining the team. She realized during the Imoogi fight that only healing will not suffice and she needed a few support spells to be useful during team fights. And the results were showing now during the tournament as she had been great these two weeks in the realm.

Noah jumped back when two cannon blasts came right on the boar's face and struck him hard, leaving two burn marks. The boar shrieked in pain. It struggled to move out of the mud, but the more he struggled the more his legs caved in.

Mana gathered on Noah's feet and he jumped up high, swinging his mana infused hammer down towards the boar's head.

Boom!

The hammer struck right above his head, stomping him down on the ground. His lower body and chin now stuck to the mud, unable to move.

A mana sphere gathered in front of Shane's cannon. He released the shot as it zoomed away and blasted the boar's head into smithereens, killing it on the spot.

After making his new mechanical boots, Shane was now able to handle the recoil from his shots and stood firm, not tumbling back down along the ground.

Ruby stopped channeling mana and the swampy ground solidified again. Noah moved to the body and extracted the mana stone out of its body.

"That was number twenty four right?" Shane asked.

"Hmm. With his we have 1200 points." Noah said, putting the mana stone inside his dimensional ring.

"Still no sign of cryo lilies though." Ruby said in a disappointed voice.

"Maybe Luke has got some. He would have even killed more beasts than us I guess." Shane said with hopeful eyes.

"I hope so. But it's still weird that all the beasts we encountered were nightmare class. Not a single killer or deadly class beasts were seen." Noah said skeptically.

"That's true. If we consider Nightmare beasts to be the lowest ones here. Then wouldn't we have to face disaster class or even destruction classes the more we move inside?" said Shane.

"Don't jinx it man." Noah glowered at him.

Just when they were talking among themselves two young men came rushing from the opposite side with a glowing blue cryo lily in their hands. Noah and the two of them were surprised and moved towards them hurriedly.

"Excuse me. We mean no harm. Just wanted to ask about the cryo lily. Where did you get it?" Noah moved in front of them and blocked their path, asking away the question without wasting a second.

The two men seemed a bit hesitant and quite surprised at three people appearing suddenly in front of them. they became cautious instantly, fearing the three of them would try to steal the lily from them.

"W-We got it from a pond nearby. Y-You can go and collect it from there. It's close. Don't steal it from us." one of the young men blurted out, asking not to steal it from them with a pleading look.

"We're not like that. Don't worry. Just, please tell us the direction of the pond."

"I-It's that way. A few meters ahead." He said pointing at a certain direction.

"Thank a lot!" Noah thanked them politely and the three of them then started moving in the direction pointed by them with excitement bubbling inside them.

After the three of them left. Their lips lifted into a smirk. "Another team of greedy fools."

"We've sacrificed more than a hundred now. isn't it enough. Lord Jekyll said it only needed fifty sacrifices to mature. We're way past that now." the other one said.

"The more the merrier. We'll be rewarded more if we can evolve the beast far more than what lord Jekyll expected."

"Haha! That's true. Let's bait another one then."

The two of them laughed and excitedly moved ahead, finding another team to bait.

In front of the lake with the abundant cryo lilies swinging along with the wind, glowing bright and pulling the shining eyes of the onlookers, were two teams facing each other at a distance from the pond.

On one side was a team of three. It was Adriana, Jane and Jordan. While on the other side were five members. It was Raven's team.

"What matters is that our Gemburn military wins this tournament. Since you're not going to win anyway, why not give us all your mana stones and we'll take the lilies from this pond." Raven said in a condescending manner.

"If that's the case, then give us all your mana stones and we'll also take the lilies from the pond. After all what matters is for our military to win right?" Adriana scoffed at Raven as she said.

"Haha! Your team and us, have no comparison at all. If you win, all the people will say you've somehow cheated your way to victory. But for us, our strength speaks for itself." Mina said with a smirk.

Adriana gritted her teeth in anger. Furious at their shamelessness.

"You thieves! You don't even have the strength to win the tournament on your own. Stealing from others is all you know! And you've mastered this art. Since you did same with the noon bloom." Jane screamed furiously at them.

"Watch your mouth weakling. You are nothing without your captain. How dare you speak like that, when all you can do is drag your captain down with weak powers like that. Haha!" Vanter laughed out loud, spitting such insulting words at her.

"Shut up you bastard! How dare you speak to her like that!?" Jordan yelled furiously.

"Haha! I'll prove it you then." Vanter stepped forward with a smirk on his face holding his double edged axe in his hand.

He was about to attack when suddenly a shot of mana rushed at him. Surprised, he jumped back, and the mana shot burned the ground he just was on.

"It's time for payback thieves." Shane said as he blew the smoke from his cannon tip and along with Noah and Ruby stood beside Adriana and the others.
