Shadow immediately vanished, Mina casted a buff on the three of them as Katsu pulled his katana out of his sheath, Vanter rushed ahead with his axe behind, ready for a swing and Raven started channeling mana to his hands.

"Get ready." Adriana took stance. Jordan and Noah moved forward with their shields while Jane, Ruby and Shane got inside a mana sphere shield casted by Jane. Golden mana flowed out of Ruby's hands and engulfed the three of them on the front, buffing them up, increasing their strength and defense.

Vanter jumped up in the air swinging his axe down. While Katsu rushed ahead ready to slash at them.

"Leave that bastard to me." Jordan said moving to receive Vanter's strike. Noah nodded and moved towards Katsu.

He then started a flurry of swings at Jordan, who in response parried each and every strike and just when Vanter was about to swing again, he crouched down and rushed ahead. Vanter was surprised at his sudden forward rush, but before he could react, the shield slammed on his body and he flew back to the distance.

On the other hand, Katsu was so fast that Noah had to keep both his shield and hammer up. Sparks flew around as Katsu's katana kept siding along the surface of the shield and the handle of Noah's hammer.

Two runic circle were about to form on Raven palms when suddenly two mana shots flew right at his arms and he had to cast a mana shield in response, blocking the two shots. His brows furrowed in annoyance as Shane was hindering him from casting his spells continuously.

Jane nodded at Ruby for covering the dome shield with leaves and then casted a spell as three wind arrows appeared in the air and rushed towards Mina. She was about to cast a spell when the three wind arrows came in front of her. Leaving the previous spell, she erected a rock wall out of the ground in front of her, blocking the arrows.

"I won't make the same mistake twice." Jane said with a smirk. "Look out for shadow, he may appear out of nowhere." She warned the other two.

Shane's vision being blocked under the foliage of leaves, so Raven was now able to cast his spell. The rocks moved out of the ground and formed two conical arrows above his head and just when he was about to release them towards Jordan and Noah, He saw Adriana rushing at him, and she was about to arrive soon with her sword ready to swing.

Without any choice left, he directed the two rock arrows towards Adriana. Mana rushed to her feet as she jumped up evading the first arrow that struck the ground and coating her sword with mana she cut right through the middle of the arrow, splitting it into two and without losing her momentum, rushed ahead towards Raven.

She jumped up swinging her sword at Raven levitating in the air, but then a runic circle appeared on Raven's palm. Gravity magic was released and a huge pressure fell on Adriana. Pushing her down on the ground. She thrust her sword in the ground and held herself from kneeling, enduring the pressure with a frown on her face.

All of them were in a stalemate, no one was getting an advantage. Even Mina was unable to do anything with a wall raised in front of her. Afraid of more incoming arrows from Jane.

Just then Ruby heard a rustle from the leaves behind Jane. "Look out!" she screamed out when Shadow appeared out of thin air, about to slash at Jane's back.

A smirk formed on his face, being able to bring the first advantage, but his smirk vanished immediately when a big mana shot rushed at him. With very less time to react, he retrieved his attack and moved the dagger to his side, taking the hit of the shot with his dagger. But the force was so huge that he blasted off to the distance, falling just beside the pond.

"Haha! Can't hide from daddy Shane." He puffed his chest up proudly. Ruby and Jane chuckled seeing him, and also sighed in relief upon being able to block shadow, who was the greatest danger on the field.

Vanter was trying hard to somehow move his axe past Jordan's defense and land a hit, but he was blocking all his attacks, not giving him an inch. Being frustrated he started swinging vehemently. Screaming and slashing at his shield. Finally, he jumped up forming almost an arch with his axe, about to swing down.

Just then a hammer came flying towards him and struck at his side, blasting him away. He fell on the ground, dropped his axe and rolled a few times before stopping just in front of the pond. His feet touching the water surface, sending a ripple.

Noah smirked at pulling this successful move. He caught his hammer back and moved his shield above him immediately, blocking Katsu's slash.

Before Vanter could collect himself, Jordan was charging at him with his shield, about to throw him in the water. But just then a large splash of water came from his back, a huge shadow fell upon him. surprised, he turned back and with one look, a chill went down his spine.
