It was a day after the 30-hour rollback was announced.

Player's disarray died down, they were compensated with a small event that gave them a new NPC that would sell dungeon-necessary items for cheap.

But the focus of today's rage was not on the items, the rollback, or the NPC.

A post on the forum blew up, as people were all screaming in terror and shock as they read through it.

It was posted by the user RapelZapel.

Who is that player, one might ask? He's the owner of the #2 most influential and biggest guild in the history of Darkmoon Adventure PC; Omnitetris.

And he is the current owner of the #1 guild in the Darkmoon Adventure VR; New Destiny (When Omnitetris and Destiny merged and GimsenTheDwarf stepped down)

On the all-time player leaderboard, he was top #16 - Second To One. The nicknamed stemmed from his mysterious identity of the guild owner, second to only Gimsen.

Good morning, Darkmoon Adventure Forum.

I will explain everything.

Everyone might have know about the recent assault that New Destiny suffered by Lion's Parade. And it's been a few days since I've made a promise to give a public speech about this.

We shall start at the beginning.

GimsenTheDwarf and I; RapelZapel, maintained our good competitor relationship for a long time, but on a rainy day in the Early Access version, he approached me at the Flower Peaks of the Eastern continents, and we talked.

There was a lot to talk about, but one thing we do miss, was the good old days of memories, freedom, and power struggle.

We agreed that the game never felt the same for the past few years. Yet, Gimsen and I put forth hope that the Virtual Reality version shall bring us a different high.

It never did.

But,

I sincerely believe the world of Darkmoon Adventure VR can bring us so much more potential than just being an adventure simulator, following the same plot of: Helping the monarchy in the Western continent, the feudalism in the Eastern continent, the democracy in the Southern continent, and the anarchy in the Northern continent.

I still have high hopes of an exciting game where everyone can feel the thrive of their choices actually being mattered… And not influenced by top players who already figured out all the game lore, and are speedrunning towards the end, with no room left for you to do anything meaningful.

That's why, when Gimsen offered me the position, I took it.

I appointed Eolga as my second-in-command, and Pearl as my third-in-command.

I knew well that there would be internal conflicts between the players, since the merge of two largest guilds who always have been going toe to toe would cause problem.

But, here is my confession… To all my friends, foes, and soon to be teachers.

You may have noticed that the account RapelZapel was never touched, and only level one.

That is because I never used that account, because the name I have been using is.

It is liberating, to say the least; for I am able to express myself in such ways.

I knew Jared was stationed to attack Olga in that cave, alongside 7 other ex-Destiny members. I have convinced each and everyone of them that Olga was planning to do the same, and provided hoaxed evidences against her.

The goal was to bring more mistrust within each other, but the sudden appearance of CJS69 and Hailie ruined the trajectory of the court.

I knew that the Lion's Parade was tipped off for the second trial of Jared, and that ErikDop would turn off the nexus from the inside, leaving room for an ambush, and an all-out guild war.

All of this because I wanted change.

I wanted the New Destiny to go out with fireworks.

You may be asking yourself, how did I managed all this? How did I got in contact with Lion's Parade, and how did I fund all my plans?

I did not.

I am in partnership with another well-known player called Ann; #45 all-time player. She and I are in hands, creating an underground ring of mercenaries.

We called ourselves The Liberator

Among our ranks are names you might recognize, such as the #12 all-time player: Lady_Valerie.

And our doors are always open.

If you are offended by the things we did in the name of riling up flames for the game, you are welcomed.

Among the laughters and slurs thrown at him, as well as troll comments or just people being blissfully ignorant of what's happening since they haven't been following the New Destiny lore.

There was a single comment that stood out, and was answered.

CJS69 commented: "Fuck you, fuck Valerie, fuck Ann, fuck Jared, fuck all of y'all bitches, this shit hurts. I felt betrayed.

But I want to ask one question… On this day, a Tweak livestream from RinaWenswood showed a cloaked figure that I recognized Lady_Valerie were sent to kill you, what was that about? You killed two innocent people just to… Huh?"

RapelZapel replied: "It was a promotional stun; our mercenaries were everywhere, donning the same cloak across livestreams. Lady_Valerie were supposed to take down everyone and leave.

But she couldn't pretend and turn away when the team's healer, the girl named Hailie hit her across the head despite being away from the rest of the team. It was such a dumb decision that if Lady_Valerie haven't taken her out right there, it would look like a staged fight."

CJS69 commented: "@GimsenTheDwarf is this the truth? You knew all along?"

GimsenTheDwarf commented: "Nay, lass, I told ya didn't ey! I gave 'em free reign to do whatever, I'm retired and I don't know more than that Rapel took over the guild, I dunno about the Pearl thing. But I gotta admit, tis' very funny."

CJS69 commented: "God damn it uncle Gimsen!"
