Beast Taming: Slaughter Atlas

Chapter 292: Blood God Avatar

The last two remaining members of the Blood God Sect, upon seeing the gruesome death of the man surnamed Zhou, had their final mental defense completely shattered.

"We surrender." After saying this, the two of them absorbed their Blood Beasts back into their bodies and raised their hands high above their heads.

Seeing this, Long Yunxiao immediately retrieved two specially made handcuffs from the Spatial Ring and tossed them in front of the two, saying, "Put them on yourselves."

Instead of being displeased at these words, the two of them eagerly scrambled to place the handcuffs on their wrists.

Being asked to wear the handcuffs meant that their surrender was accepted, offering them a chance to live, and they were naturally more than willing to comply.

Chu Chen looked at the handcuffs, somewhat puzzled, and asked, "What are these?"

Hearing this, Long Yunxiao smiled and explained, "These are specially made handcuffs by the Alliance. Once you put them on, your Soul Power will be restrained."

When Chu Chen heard this, he showed a look of realization. So, the Alliance had already developed equipment capable of restraining Soul Power.

The battle here had just ended not long ago when the sounds of combat could be heard again in the vicinity, evidently indicating that the number of people breaking through had increased considerably.

"Everyone, recover as quickly as possible; there might be another battle soon," Chu Chen kindly reminded.

Upon hearing this, Wang Lei immediately showed a look of delight. He hadn't had enough from the earlier battle, so the prospect of another fight made him extremely excited.

However, apart from Wang Lei, the expressions on everyone's faces were not good.

In the recent battle, everyone had exhausted their trump cards, and their Main Pets were now in a weakened state. If more cult members breaking through were encountered, they feared it would be difficult to handle.

Not daring to delay, everyone quickly took out Elixir Pills and fed them to their Guardian Beasts, before sitting cross-legged and entering a state of Meditation.

At this moment on the mountain top, the outer walls of the Blood Demon Hall had all collapsed. About five thousand cult members had been killed, and another two thousand were severely injured. The remaining two thousand were mostly wounded, and almost a thousand had opted to break through, but none had succeeded so far.

The battle continued as Xiong Fei directed the Blood Eagle to fight. Yet most of his attention was on the battlefield; as he looked at the continuously dying cult members, he didn't show any anger but instead occasionally revealed a cold smile.

Upon seeing such a bizarre scene, Liu Hong couldn't help but grow more vigilant.

Xiong Fei's behavior was too abnormal, and as the saying goes, "abnormal behavior indicates something abnormal." He had to be cautious.

As time passed, the number of deaths among the cult members kept rising, their morale declining, clearly showing the signs of a losing army.

The crimson blood stained the ground a reddish-brown, and several small blood pools had formed in the pits and hollows.

Seeing this, Xiong Fei showed an expression of displeasure, seemingly dissatisfied with the situation.

After pondering for a moment, he suddenly yelled, "Hold on, everyone; I have already informed the Main Sect, and reinforcements will arrive soon."

Upon hearing this, the cult members of the Blood Demon Hall had their fighting spirit reignited.

Their gaze became firm once more as they focused on directing their Guardian Beasts in battle.

Because of this, their death rate accelerated.

Seeing this, Xiong Fei couldn't help but reveal a satisfied expression.

As Liu Hong watched, his unease grew even deeper. He looked at the leisurely Ying Wenjie and couldn't help but shout, "Wenjie, come here and help. There's something wrong with that guy."

Upon hearing this, Ying Wenjie's expression changed, and he quickly turned his head to see Xiong Fei's aberration. The intense sense of unease flooded his heart.

Not daring to hesitate even slightly, he hastily commanded the Shadow Demon to rush towards Xiong Fei. No matter what the opponent intended, all schemes would naturally collapse if he was killed.

Seeing the approaching Shadow Demon, Xiong Fei's expression suddenly changed. He was already struggling to deal with Liu Hong, and with Ying Wenjie added into the mix, any chance of survival vanished.

Looking at the cult members still desperately resisting, his eyes were full of coldness.

He patted the back of the Blood Eagle and said in a deep voice, "Send them on their way."

As his words fell, the Blood Eagle suddenly let out a loud, piercing cry. Its wings shook violently as it plunged straight towards the battlefield below.

Seeing this, Liu Hong was momentarily stunned, preventing him from stopping it immediately.

It's not that Liu Hong was careless, but the direction the Blood Eagle was diving was where the Blood Demon cult members were located.

It should be known that Liu Hong was fighting mid-air to prevent affecting the Daoist Soldiers.

But Xiong Fei's actions undoubtedly pushed the cult members into a pit of fire.

Ying Wenjie and Liu Hong exchanged glances and promptly directed their Guardian Beasts to chase after Xiong Fei.

At this moment, an abrupt change occurred as the Blood Eagle appeared above the cult members and instantly released a blood-colored Domain.

The Blood Demon cult members and their Blood Beasts within the Domain were instantly suppressed.

They looked up to find that the one who made a move was, surprisingly, Xiong Fei.

A burly man with a bristly beard shouted in a deep voice, "Lord Hall Master, what are you doing?"

Xiong Fei replied with a chilling smile, "Today, you're already in an inescapable situation. Don't make futile resistances; go in peace. I will avenge you."

After hearing this, the expressions of the crowd turned exceptionally grim; his words clearly indicating he intended to kill them.

Those who joined the Blood God Sect did so either in pursuit of power or out of a twisted psyche, with many being even more afraid of death. When faced with the prospect of death, all their fighting spirit vanished.

Someone unknown shouted the word "surrender," and hundreds of cult members echoed this call.

Seeing this, Xiong Fei laughed heartily, saying, "That's more like it. I did feel a bit guilty, but clearing the sect turns out to be a meritorious deed."

As his words fell, the blood-colored Domain suddenly erupted with a horrific might.

Within the blood-colored Domain, hundreds of cult members let out a series of anguished cries as blood burst from their seven orifices, and their heads subsequently exploded.
