Beast Taming: Slaughter Atlas

Chapter 292: Blood God Avatar (2)

In the blink of an eye, hundreds of cult members were killed, and the ground was already saturated with blood. The dark red soil looked just like Purgatory.

Ying Wenjie frowned even more deeply at this scene; Xiong Fei's move was indeed unexpected to everyone.

"Xiong Fei, you madman. However, it saves us the trouble of taking action. Surrender quietly now, and perhaps I may spare your life," Liu Hong said in a deep voice.

Upon hearing this, Xiong Fei suddenly burst into laughter, looking at Liu Hong with a playful gaze.

"Spare my life, with just you?"

"Hmph, you're courting death." After saying this, Liu Hong was about to strike.

"Wait," Ying Wenjie said in a deep voice.

Hearing this, Liu Hong gave him a puzzled look.

Ying Wenjie didn't explain but instead ordered the Daoist Soldiers behind him, "Everyone retreat immediately to the foot of the mountain and wait for my command."

Unable to hold back anymore, Liu Hong hurriedly inquired, "Wenjie, what are you doing?"

Upon hearing the inquiry, Ying Wenjie still did not explain but said in a deep voice, "Execute the order immediately, or be expelled from the Daoist School."

The group of Daoist Soldiers dared not linger upon hearing this and rushed towards the foot of the mountain.

Lu Hongfei. Xiong Fei coldly smirked at the sight and said, "As expected of the Shadow Demon, truly quick-witted, but still a bit late."

Ying Wenjie and Liu Hong both looked towards Xiong Fei upon hearing this.

Only to see the opponent raise his left hand, turning palm into blade, directly slicing a wound on the index finger of his right hand, and crimson blood gushed out.

Xiong Fei's face turned savage as he lifted the cut finger, marking something on the Blood Eagle's head.

Upon witnessing this, Ying Wenjie immediately commanded the Shadow Demon to attack.

The Shadow Demon let out a roar as dense Dark Element quickly converged towards it, forming a pitch-black spear of Dark Element in front of it in the blink of an eye.

The Shadow Demon manipulated the spear to shoot towards the Blood Eagle, moving so fast that it became impossible to track with the naked eye, and only a series of sharp sonic booms could be heard.

Unexpectedly, Xiong Fei did not dodge or evade, instead quickening his movements, lifting his hand to slap the Blood Eagle's head.

The Blood Eagle seemed to be stimulated, lifting its head and issuing a wretched scream, with dense blood energy erupting from its body, which began to expand crazily.

Xiong Fei immediately leaped off the Blood Eagle's back.

At this time, the pitch-black spear had reached the Blood Eagle's front, puncturing directly into its body and instantly exploding like a needle piercing a balloon.

The sky was shrouded in blood mist, resembling an apocalyptic scene.

Standing on the ground, Xiong Fei spread his arms towards the sky, letting the blood mist fall onto him, seemingly enjoying being surrounded by blood.

"Xiong Fei, your main pet has already died in battle, isn't it time to surrender?" Liu Hong shouted coldly.

Hearing this, Xiong Fei smirked, mocked, "Surrender? You folks should be the ones surrendering." Then he reached out into the blood mist.

The blood mist seemed to be drawn by some force, quickly converging into his palms.

In the blink of an eye, a blood-colored sphere, a meter in diameter, formed in front of him.

He lifted the blood sphere and smashed it hard to the ground, which shattered instantly, engulfing his feet in blood.

"Rise."

Xiong Fei let out a thunderous shout.

As his voice fell, the Blood Demon Hall began to tremble, with blood on the ground seeming to be summoned, rushing towards the central vibrating position.

Liu Hong and Ying Wenjie exchanged a glance filled with shock.

"Xiong Fei, what exactly did you do?" Liu Hong couldn't help but exclaim.

"Haha, don't rush, you'll know soon," Xiong Fei said coldly.

At this moment, the Blood Demon Hall began to shake violently, and in the blink of an eye, a magnificent palace collapsed, with dust covering Liu Hong and Ying Wenjie's vision.

Although they couldn't see through the dust, they could clearly feel that beneath the earth a terrifying presence was slowly awakening.

"What should we do?" Liu Hong inquired seriously.

Ying Wenjie's face was somber as he replied, "You take everyone and leave first. I'll probe the situation here."

Liu Hong immediately became anxious upon hearing this.

"No, it's too dangerous here; you can't stay."

"This is the Blood God Sect's trump card. I must understand it. Otherwise, we won't know how many will die in future confrontations. Don't worry, Shadow Demon's escape skills, aren't you aware?"

Feeling weighed by heavy concern, Liu Hong said, "Be careful then. I'll wait for you at the Teleportation Array." After saying this, he decisively rushed towards the mountain's base.

At this moment, a burst of roaring came from the Blood Demon Hall's ruins, with debris shooting like bullets in all directions.

"Roar."

A roaring sound emanated from the ruins, with terrifying sound waves sweeping everywhere, dispersing the pervasive dust.

Facing the approaching sound waves, Ying Wenjie hurriedly released a Barrier in front of himself.

With a "boom," the barrier seemed to be hit by a heavy object and began to shake violently.

Looking at the violently shaking barrier, Ying Wenjie's expression turned extremely solemn. The sheer power of just a roar was indeed terrifying.

This kind of terrifying presence was something he could not contend with.

Ying Wenjie, unwilling to be reckless, hastily commanded the Shadow Demon to retreat while keeping his gaze locked onto the blood-colored figure in the ruins.

It resembled a monster with the form of a tiger, standing ten meters tall and twenty meters long, with no fur on its body, just a smooth layer of blood-golden skin, which looked quite tender, as if its jaws held a dagger in each, its eyes blood-colored but pupils golden, exuding icy menace.

Its limbs were extremely robust, with sharp claws growing on each of its five toes, resembling five curved hooks.

Ying Wenjie gauged its aura but found it unfathomable.

As an Emperor Level Late Stage Beast Master, making him feel this way implied that its power likely reached Emperor Level.

Ying Wenjie dared not stay any longer, urgently urging the Shadow Demon to escape for fear of being targeted.

Xiong Fei, observing Ying Wenjie's chaotic state, couldn't help but laugh mockingly, "Don't run; weren't you determined to capture me? I'm right here; come get me."

Upon hearing the taunts, Ying Wenjie's face turned livid, though he had no interest in bickering with him, especially with such a menacing presence behind.

Xiong Fei crazily declared, "You can't escape; it's the Blood God's avatar, and everyone must die."

The words barely left his mouth before the Blood God Avatar leapt from the ruins to appear behind Xiong Fei.

Feeling its burning breath, Xiong Fei's pudgy face unconsciously twitched, a sign of fear reaching its peak.

When he awakened the Blood God Avatar, he already knew his fate, as this was simply created by Zhang Jue Ming with the artifact obtained in the Secret Realm, infused with a wisp of the Blood God's soul. How he obtained this wisp remained unknown to him.

The Blood God Avatar opened its bloody maw and swallowed Xiong Fei's corpulent body whole.

It tilted its head back and roared, seemingly quite satisfied with this meal.

However, it was still unsatisfied, sensing the depletion of its power; it needed copious blood to maintain its strength.

Its gaze fixed on the distant shadow, with golden pupils flickering with icy killing intent.

Its limbs exerted subtle force, and its figure instantly vanished, reappearing a thousand meters away within moments.

Ying Wenjie continually monitored the situation behind him, naturally noting the Blood God Avatar's movements.

The opponent was too fast, and with Shadow Demon's speed, they would catch up in just a few breaths.

Given this realization, Ying Wenjie's face turned increasingly somber, as the supernatural pressure he encountered only felt palpable with the presence of the sect owner.
