Though saying this, within Drake's transparent skull, the brain tissue flickered more frequently, clearly showing that the rise of this young wizard had sparked some interest in him.
"However..." he paused, and his voice became deep:
"The creator of 'Star Eater's Ravings'—that Traveler, is indeed a case worth noting.
If he hadn't met with an accident at the last moment back then, he might have already become the third naturally ascended Witch King after the 'Ancestor' and the 'Creator'."
Upon mentioning the title "Traveler," the other three suspended ones fell silent, their bodies within the sacs slightly trembling, showing a vague unease and reverence.
Even for these Great Wizards, a Witch King remains an unattainable existence.
Like mortals gazing up at the starry sky, they are dazzling stars that can never be reached.
"The 'Traveler,' one of the greatest explorers of the Second Era, once stepped into countless worlds and planes, and is said to have even confronted the essence of the Devourer. After that astonishing experience, he created the Crown Meditation Technique, the 'Star Eater's Ravings'."
Drake slowly recounted, much like speaking of an ancient legend, but his tone carried a certain certainty from experience:
"Yet at the moment he reached the peak of the Great Wizard level, just as he was about to break through to the Witch King realm, he went mad..."
Drake's transparent skull flashed with an unusually intense light, expressing his strong emotional fluctuations regarding this segment of history.
Such a reaction is extremely rare for an ancient being such as him, making the other three suspended ones feel extremely uneasy.
"No one knows what he saw, what he experienced at that moment. All that's known is that he left behind one final sentence—'Above the stars are Devourers, and above those Devourers are even more terrifying existences,' and then he vanished, his whereabouts still unknown."
The liquid within the crystal sacs began to slowly circulate, as if feeling uneasy about this piece of history as well.
Drake's phantom figure slightly manifested at the edge of the crystal sacs—a gigantic head composed entirely of pure energy.
Inside it flickered countless star-like light points, each containing an unimaginable amount of knowledge.
This phantom form can even briefly distort the surrounding reality structure, temporarily bending spatial rules to his will.
"Rumor has it that the Traveler obtained certain core fragments from the Great Abyss, and those fragments caught the attention of the Devourer."
Karen quietly added, a flash of fear passing through his silver eyes:
"In the realm of consciousness confrontation, even top-tier Great Wizards find it hard to withstand the impact from such existences. Some things... perhaps weren't meant to be touched by beings of our level."
When Karen reached this point, his own phantom vaguely manifested—a giant eye composed of silver light lines.
Inside, countless tiny runes flowed, capable of seeing the essence of existence and penetrating layers of disguise.
Yet upon mentioning those existences beyond comprehension, even this eye trembled slightly, as if facing a certain horror impossible to gaze upon directly.
"Enough!" Drake abruptly interrupted the discussion, his voice laced with rare tension:
"These are all unverifiable rumors. No matter what, a newly ascended Primordial Wizard is of little significance to us."
Silence once again enveloped the Specimen Library, but this silence held a certain subtle sense of anticipation.
Despite their dismissive words, all suspended ones harbored a slight curiosity about this young wizard suddenly rising to prominence.
After a long time, Mola suddenly laughed softly, her tentacles gently swaying, indicating her good mood:
"I'm quite looking forward to the reaction from those folks at the Crystal Tower. A Primordial Wizard rising from a distant school will soon become a 'hot commodity' in their eyes."
Her phantom figure slightly manifested—a complex structure woven from countless blue tentacles.
Every tentacle can independently think and manipulate a form of energy, appearing as a continuously changing energy vortex.
This phantom form is particularly suited for multithreaded thinking and complex energy manipulation.
"No doubt about it." Karen chimed in:
"Especially with the current Crystal Tower, where internal factional strife is growing increasingly intense. A Primordial Wizard ascended through the Path of Truth will definitely become an object of their contention."
"Do you all think... he will catch the Crown Clan's attention?"
Varian suddenly asked, his voice tinged with schadenfreude:
"If so, this young man will likely face quite an 'interesting' experience."
"Almost certainly." Drake commented lightly:
"The Crown Clan never misses out on newcomers with potential, especially those Primordial Wizards who might bring 'pure blessings'."
"They treat them like precious collections, first attracting with various favorable conditions, then gradually tightening control, finally integrating them entirely into the clan system."
Inside Drake's transparent skull, the flickering speed of the brain tissue slowed down, seemingly losing interest in the topic:
"Regardless, Ron Ralph's fate is already destined to be different from ordinary folks. But he's still far from genuinely catching our attention."
With these words, the light within Drake's crystal sacs gradually dimmed, clearly returning to a state of dormancy.
The other three suspended ones, seeing this, refrained from speaking further, and each of their sacs' light began to diminish as well.
Before falling into complete silence, Karen's voice arose one last time:
