Chapter 246: Dawnwalker_2

Lady Allen looked at the young wizard before her, a complex emotion flickering in her eyes.

There was pride in her student, but also regret for not reaching a higher level herself.

She knew that this young man's future would far surpass her own, perhaps reaching the level she once yearned for but could not achieve.

"From now on, you must face the wider world alone."

Her voice suddenly became solemn and dignified:

"The Central Lands not only possess the most advanced knowledge and the most powerful forces but are also filled with various temptations and traps."

She took a deep breath, continuing:

"Do not sacrifice long-term freedom for momentary convenience, nor abandon true pursuit for illusory power. Remember your beginner's mind—to understand the essence of this world."

Ron bowed his head slightly, indicating respect and remembrance of these words.

"Time is getting late." Lady Allen glanced at the port: "The airship is about to set sail, you should head back."

She took out an exquisite scroll box from her bosom and handed it to Ron:

"This is my farewell gift—the magic potion formula for 'Spirit Dew'. It can help you find yourself when lost in abyssal exploration or spiritual journeys."

Ron took the scroll box, feeling a wave of emotion.

"Thank you, Lady."

He carefully placed the scroll box into his spatial bag and bowed deeply to Lady Allen: "May wisdom be with you."

This was the most solemn farewell among wizards, expressing his most sincere respect for his mentor.

A gleam flashed in Lady Allen's eyes but soon returned to her usual calm.

She nodded gently and turned around: "Go, don't look back, the road ahead is your true destination."

Ron took one last look at the elderly woman before turning towards the port.

This farewell might not see them reunite until he becomes a Dark Sun level wizard or even a Great Wizard.

When his silhouette disappeared into the cabin, Lady Allen finally let out a gentle sigh.

She once had such an opportunity, standing at a higher point to overlook the world, but fate played tricks, and that door closed to her in the end.

And now, she personally pushed her student towards that height she could not reach, hoping he could go further and see clearer.

"I hope you succeed, child."

She murmured, her voice so light only she could hear:

"I hope you can reach the places I could not, stand on the peaks I could not climb. Perhaps one day, when you behold the world, you can tell me about the scenery there."

.........

Outside the gangway, a man in a navy blue uniform had been waiting for some time, embroidered with a delicate bird emblem—the symbol of the Airship Guild.

"Welcome aboard, Wizard."

The man stood at the bottom of the gangway, his voice tinged with respect:

"Please present your Wizard Badge so we can arrange the appropriate cabin for you."

Ron stepped forward and took out the silver badge flickering with faint light from his chest.

Since signing his name in the Wizard General Record, this badge automatically activated as an unforgeable identifier of his official wizard status.

The badge gleamed with unique energy fluctuation under the sun, a fluctuation that cannot be replicated by any means, the strictest identity certification in the Wizard World.

The badge's design was a violin shimmering with eerie black light, symbolizing his current most powerful attack magic.

The reception staff took the badge, his hands slightly trembling.

He carefully placed the badge on a specially designed verification device, which immediately emitted a soft blue light, affirming the badge's authenticity.

"Wizard Ron Ralph, your identity has been confirmed."

The reception staff immediately bowed respectfully, his voice filled with awe:

"The cabin map shows we have prepared Cabin No. 3 on level A for you, our highest single suite."

Ron nodded slightly, his expression calm, but a hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes.

The reception staff seemed to have noticed his puzzlement and explained:

"Wizard Ron, this was especially arranged by Vice Dean Hayek. He personally contacted the Airship Guild headquarters, requesting the best cabin for you."

Ron realized this, a barely perceptible smile curling his lips.

This was evidently a special care from the School, an investment for his future.

"Wizard Ron, your ticket and cabin key."

The attendee respectfully handed over a crystal card and a delicate silver key:

"Although you already know the relevant rules, I still need to remind you—the 'Dawnwalker' mainly carries various valuable cargoes. Wizards ride for free in exchange for providing protection in emergencies."

Ron nodded slightly; this rule was well known.

The sky route, though much safer than the sea route, was still fraught with dangers.

The Airship Guild provides free ride service and luxurious cabins, while wizards protect the airship when attacked, a win-win cooperation model.

"If you protect the airship during the journey, besides waiving the basic ticket fee, you can also earn a certain percentage from the cargo. The specific percentage will be determined based on your level of contribution."

The attendant continued to explain, eyes filled with anticipation, clearly hoping this young wizard would step forward in times of danger.

"Also, these are your itinerary details."

He handed over a beautifully crafted parchment with elegant floral script detailing the itinerary:

"We will circle around the Abyss along the main route to the Central Lands, making a brief stop at Abyssal Outpost No. 69 to refuel and rendezvous with another wizard.
