Chapter 246: Dawnwalker (Part 3)

After passing through the Glazed Islands in the Endless Sea, we will officially reach the Central Lands, barring any unexpected events; the entire journey is expected to take about a month."

The Great Abyss is vast and boundless, surrounded by countless outposts, each with its own number.

And the Ashen Town that Lady Allen previously mentioned to me is the most special among all these outposts.

Ron took the parchment and carefully browsed its contents.

The flight route, stopovers, and estimated time - everything was meticulously arranged.

This service tailored for Official Wizards was in stark contrast to his own experience as an Apprentice, running around and enduring the hardships of travel.

"Ron Wizard, are there any other accompanying personnel? Do you need us to arrange accommodations for them?"

The reception staff asked respectfully.

"My tree spirit assistant, Ailan, and these pieces of luggage."

Ron indicated to the tree spirit Ailan standing beside him, along with the neatly arranged boxes and bags:

"And a crystal vat, which contains my small sea race creature, requiring special care."

The reception staff nodded and took note, immediately signaling to several staff members nearby to move the luggage, while taking out a small crystal whistle from his pocket and gently blowing it.

Moments later, several tall and strong half-beastmen appeared.

"These are our professional movers; they will ensure all your items are safely delivered to your cabin."

The reception staff explained: "Meanwhile, please allow me to briefly introduce the facilities on the airship."

Ron nodded for him to continue.

"The 'Dawnwalker' has three decks.

Deck A is the VIP area, equipped with a private dining room, Meditation Room, and a small laboratory designed specifically for Official Wizards;

Deck B is for regular passengers and public areas; Deck C is for cargo and the mechanical zone.

Additionally, the Observation Deck on top of the airship is open all day, and you can go there anytime to enjoy the starry sky."

The reception staff explained in detail:

"Breakfast is served in the dining room daily from 7 to 9 a.m.;

lunch is from 12 to 2 p.m.;

and dinner is from 6 to 8 p.m.

Of course, if you have special needs, you can notify the service crystal inside the cabin at any time, and we will make special arrangements for you."

Inside the airship was much more spacious than it appeared from the outside, clearly using some kind of spatial expansion magic.

The corridors were wide and bright, with glowing crystals embedded on both sides, providing soft lighting that wasn't harsh on the eyes.

The floor was made of some kind of translucent crystalline material, with a slight elasticity underfoot, each step resonating with faint energy fluctuations, creating a comfortable feeling.

When Ron stepped into his suite, the sight before his eyes made him raise an eyebrow.

This was hardly a simple "cabin"; it was more like a luxurious mobile apartment.

A spacious living room, separate bedroom and study, and even a small experimental area equipped with basic Alchemy Tools and a simple set of Magic Potion Equipment.

The bookshelf near the window was filled with dozens of hardcover books, covering various research fields, from the basic "Overview of Elemental Theory" to the more profound "Plane Boundary Exploration."

A small service crystal was placed on the bedside table, which could summon staff with a light touch.

"Is there anything else you need, Ron Wizard?"

The reception staff stood at the door, politely asking.

"No, that's all for now, you go ahead and do your work."

Ron replied casually.

The reception staff bowed slightly and exited, gently closing the door.

Only then did Ron relax, surveying this temporary "home."

He walked to the window, and through the large observation window, he could see the full view of the Black Mist Jungle below.

"Ailan, start unpacking the luggage," Ron instructed casually.

The tree spirit nodded, as the green vines began orderly taking items out of the boxes and arranging them.

Just then, the hum of the airship's engine grew stronger, and the floor of the cabin vibrated slightly as if it were about to take off.

On a nearby rooftop, a slender figure curled up, silently watching all this.

Lilia hugged her knees tightly, tears silently streaming down her cheeks, soaking her gray-white Apprentice robe.

She dared not go down to bid farewell to Ron, fearing she couldn't control her emotions, and those buried feelings of attachment and reluctance would all be revealed.

She watched the airship rise slowly into the sky, the silver hull gleaming in the sunlight like a giant fish leaping out of the water, swimming toward a vast sky.

The runes on the hull glowed with blue light, and the twin wings at the stern spread like a giant mythological bird, imposing and mysterious.

"One day..."

Lilia wiped away her tears, a newfound determination rising in her heart.

Her fingers involuntarily clenched her robe, her knuckles whitening from the force:

"One day, I will catch up to your steps, stand by your side again, no longer just that Apprentice who only records and organizes, but a partner able to explore the mysteries of knowledge with you."

This promise was not spoken to anyone but was a vow to herself.

Her gaze followed the airship closely.

Until it became a dot on the horizon and finally disappeared into the clouds, as if swallowed by the tide of destiny.
