[Sword Body]
[Level 10 Sword Body: Attack speed increased by 1,500 points, casting speed increased by 1,500 points, abnormal status resistance increased by 1,500 points, and attribute resistance increased by 1,500 points.]
[First-stage Catastrophe: All resistances +1,200, four-dimensional attributes +1,200, skill attack power +25%, skill cooldown time reduced by 20%, immune to 20% of incoming damage.]
Combined, these two attributes provided a total of 3,000 points of abnormal status resistance. Gravity was classified as an abnormal status.
Jiang Qiu's equipment naturally granted immunity to abnormal status effects, so this wasn't an issue for her. However, Alice and the others were not so fortunate. They felt burdened by what seemed like a hundred pounds of force; it was a miracle they weren't dead.
The hundred or so people behind Lisa felt the same. They were unbearably heavy and utterly bereft of fighting strength.
Now, only Jiang Chen, Jiang Qiu, and Lisa were capable of fighting.
Jiang Qiu said, "What do we do? Only the three of us can fight, and we still have to pass through here. Obviously, monsters will attack us along the way."
"Don't worry," Jiang Chen replied. "The three of us are enough."
Lisa nodded, then turned back and said, "Everyone, stick close. We need to cross this area."
With Jiang Chen's Perception, there was no movement within 1,000 meters, which meant no immediate danger. Either there were no demons here, or they were hiding underground, just like before. Even if they were hiding underground, Jiang Chen would be able to sense the ground tremble as soon as they moved.
The group continued forward.
Jiang Chen looked back at Angelina. She seemed completely unaffected, as if nothing had happened. Could it be that Angelina is immune to abnormal states? True to someone reborn from a god, she is indeed formidable.
Lisa looked at Angelina in surprise. "It seems your equipment is quite good too, able to resist abnormal statuses."
"It's alright," Angelina replied nonchalantly.
Alice urged, "Little Na, quickly buff us! Increase our abnormal status resistance."
Angelina nodded. "Alright."
She cast her magic, buffing several people. Alice finally felt some relief.
"Please cast it on them as well," Alice requested, gesturing to the others.
Angelina cast her magic again, granting them a little more resistance.
Just then, the ground trembled. The group of over a hundred quickly formed a circle, remaining vigilant of their surroundings.
"It seems like something is coming!"
"Who knows what kind of monster it is?"
"What now? We have no fighting power!"
"We're definitely done for this time."
Jiang Qiu asked Jiang Chen, "What kind of monster?"
"I don't know what they are," he replied, "but they're very fast, and there are many of them—at least tens of thousands of demons."
In Jiang Chen's Perception, a vast number of demons were rushing toward them from nearby.
With a wave of her hand, Jiang Qiu unleashed a wide-area offensive skill. Countless particles spread out from her body. These weren't mist, but Nano Insects—extremely small constructs that constituted her wide-area offensive skill. Within a five-hundred-meter radius centered on Jiang Qiu, Nano Insects swarmed.
At that moment, hordes of black ant-like creatures attacked. Each one was as large as a palm, and their numbers were unknown, but there were at least hundreds of thousands.
As soon as these ants entered the area of effect, the Nano Insects began to devour them. However, their numbers were too great for the insects to handle effectively. It took at least ten seconds for the Nano Insects to devour a single ant.

[Experience +50]
...
This place is an excellent monster-grinding spot, Jiang Chen thought with some excitement.
Jiang Qiu frowned. "There are too many. The Nano Insects can't devour them fast enough."
"I'll handle it," Jiang Chen said.
Thirty thousand Sword Qi flared out, instantly killing the ants that had entered the swarm of Nano Insects. Jiang Chen even activated his [Sword Array], preventing any more ants from getting close.
He watched as his experience points skyrocketed. Each ant was worth 50 points. Ten thousand of them amounted to 500,000 experience. A million of them equaled 50,000,000.
Every little bit counted. This place was a perfect monster-grinding spot. At this rate, he figured he could level up in just a few minutes.
Alice exclaimed, "I can't believe I leveled up!"
"Me too!"
"So much experience!"
"Hehe... This place is simply a monster-killing paradise!"
Lisa was speechless. We're fighting for our lives, and they're just farming experience!
After ten minutes, the noise finally subsided. The ground was littered with countless white bones. Jiang Qiu retracted her Nano Insects, allowing everyone to get a clear look at their surroundings, which were filled with skeletal remains.
Just how many did we kill! one of them thought.
Jiang Chen smiled. "Let's go. We were quite lucky to encounter so many monsters. A few more waves like that, and I could probably gain ten levels."
The group quickly moved forward, only to be blocked by what appeared to be a mountain. Looking at the densely packed openings, they realized it wasn't a mountain peak at all but a network of caves—the very ones the ant creatures inhabited. Clearly, these ant creatures had crawled out from there.
The group of over one hundred people quickly crossed the dark territory. They passed through the large mountain, only to find another one beyond it.
Lisa took out a Compass. Pointing to the mountain opposite, she said, "The Spiritual Pearl should be inside. Demons are guarding the exterior, so that must be it."
"Attack directly?" Jiang Qiu asked.
"Huh? Are those Elves?" Alice wondered aloud, spotting figures in the distance.
"Those aren't members of the Elf Race," Lisa corrected. "They're Elves possessed by Parasitic Beasts; they're already dead."
"How about we storm their lair directly?" Jiang Chen suggested.
The hundred-plus people took cover, observing the area 800 meters ahead. Jiang Chen keenly sensed that one of the Elves over there was different—a true Elf, like Lisa and her companions. She seems like an Elf. Not parasitized.
Jiang Chen turned to Lisa. "There's something wrong with one of them. She's not parasitized; she's a true Elf. Your Elven World has a traitor."
Lisa was puzzled. "Are you sure?"
"You know I can tell who's been parasitized," Jiang Chen said. "I sense she hasn't been; she's a true member of the Elf Race."
"Who?" Lisa asked.
"The woman in white, the one who was taking a stroll earlier," Jiang Chen replied.
Lisa looked over and shook her head. "I've never seen this person."
An Elf beside Lisa spoke, "That's Sherman. Her father is Xis, the Flame City Lord. She was ordered to guard Flame City."
Another Elf exclaimed, "No wonder Flame City's 100,000 soldiers were parasitized overnight! It turns out City Lord Xis betrayed the Elven World."
"Despicable!" a third Elf seethed. "How dare they collude with demons from Different Worlds!"
"This information must be sent back," another added.
"Princess, what should we do?" one of them asked Lisa.
At that moment, a middle-aged Elf walked out from within the enemy encampment.
Lisa didn't recognize Sherman, but she did recognize Xis.
Lisa's brow furrowed deeply. "It really is him..."
Just then, Xis looked in their direction. He quickly drew his longbow and unleashed a magic offensive attack aimed at Jiang Chen. A flash of light shot toward them, transforming into thousands of arrows mid-flight, which then rained down swiftly.
At Jiang Chen's command, thirty thousand Sword Qi surged forward, destroying the volley of arrows.
Jiang Chen slowly stood up...
