Unrivaled in another world

Chapter 124: Another week

[: 3rd POV :]

Ever since a week had passed since Daniel began his crusade against the Zero Organisation, the world itself seemed to tremble under the weight of his actions.

The snowstorms of the Silent Cold had ceased to howl, and the beasts that once ruled the frozen plains now hid in the cracks of reality itself, cowering in fear.

Even the winds that carried whispers of death fell silent wherever he passed.

Yet despite all the destruction, his level had barely moved.

[: Level: 100,005 :]

Only five levels gained in an entire week.

For anyone else, that would have been catastrophic.

For Daniel, it was a testament to how far beyond mortal understanding he had already ascended.

The reason was simple: the higher he climbed, the more impossible the ascent became.

Even with his Trait: Absolute Being — Endless Potential, the path forward was not something mere effort could traverse.

The experience required to level up had reached a scale so absurd it defied imagination.

[: Current Exp Requirement: 1,000,000,000,000 :]

One trillion.

Every time his level rose by even one, the world itself seemed to groan under the strain of trying to measure his growth.

And since there were no beings left below the Mythic Rank that could give him even a fraction of that experience, his progress had all but frozen.

The weaker monsters and mortals he annihilated in seconds offered him nothing, not even a sliver of experience could move that endless bar forward.

Still, what numbers could not show was the truth that his power was now beyond all measurement.

[: Status Window :]

Name: Daniel Valenhardt

Age: 16

Rank: Mythic

Level: 100,005

HP: 1,265T

MP: 1,265T

Strength: 253T

Defence: 253T

Mana: 253T

Agility: 253T

SP: 0

That was his raw status, without any amplification from passives, without the multiplication effects from his traits.

This was the foundation upon which his existence stood.

Each number alone could obliterate kingdoms, rewrite the flow of mana, or annihilate a world's core.

To put it in perspective, a normal SSS Ranker would barely reach a few billion in stats.

Daniel's numbers surpassed that by several thousand times. And that was before any of his passives or divine skills came into play.

It was an overwhelming, absolute difference, one that could not be bridged by effort, talent, or willpower.

He had become something beyond reason.

Even so, Daniel didn't stop.

For another week, he travelled from one corner of the Human Continent to another, hunting every facility belonging to the Zero Organisation.

Whether they were hidden deep within frozen wastelands, buried beneath mountains, or sealed behind barriers crafted by ancient magic, none of them lasted longer than a second once he arrived.

The moment his shadow touched their walls, they ceased to exist.

[: Element of Destruction :]

[: Sword of Final Rule :]

Each time, his enemies vanished without screams, without resistance, without understanding.

Their bodies, souls, and even memories were erased from existence, leaving not even dust behind.

Some didn't even know they had died.

One instant they stood, the next they were gone, their essences devoured, their existences rewritten into Daniel's growing strength.

Every strike he made carried the weight of his conviction.

Every death was judgment, every annihilation was cleansing.

To the Zero Organisation, Daniel had become something far more terrifying than death itself.

He was inevitable.

No matter how far they ran, no matter how deep they hid, he found them.

Not through chance, not through luck, but through certainty.

His Eyes of Calamity saw through barriers, illusions, and falsehoods.

His Void Matter pierced every defence ever crafted.

And his Element of Destruction consumed everything down to atoms and thought.

There were no negotiations.

No words.

No mercy.

Even those who begged, those who cried out that they were "just following orders", found no pity in his gaze.

Their hands were drenched in innocent blood, and Daniel saw no reason for forgiveness.

Their suffering had long passed the point of redemption.

For every child they enslaved, for every experiment they committed in secret, for every scream that echoed in their laboratories, he made sure their deaths were not swift.

In some cases, he didn't even kill them immediately.

Instead, he dragged them into an unknown dimension of his own creation, where time flowed differently.

There, a second could stretch into centuries, and within that eternity, their souls were forced to experience the pain they inflicted upon others. Over and over again.

A thousand deaths for every life they destroyed.

And when he was done, he erased them, body, soul, and memory.

Not even the Will of the Universe remembered their names afterwards.

Daniel's expression throughout it all never changed.

His eyes remained calm, devoid of emotion, yet behind them burned a quiet, consuming wrath.

It wasn't hatred born of impulse, but of principle.

A hatred cold, calculated, and absolute.

Every swing of his hand, every pulse of void energy, was not fueled by rage, but by purpose.

He had seen the tears of the enslaved.

He had seen the corruption that thrived in the name of progress and power.

And he had decided, there would be no redemption.

The Zero Organisation had become a plague, a rot that corrupted the very essence of life.

To him, their extinction wasn't vengeance. It was necessary.

The more he killed, the more his presence grew.

Each time his Ring of Devourer: Essence Reclamation activated, a storm of soul energy burst into his body, pure, refined essence that permanently fused with his being.

[: Defense +100,000,000 :]

[: Agility +100,000,000 :]

[: Int +100,000,000 :]

[: All Attributes Permanently Increased :]

The world trembled as his stats soared even higher.

Each surge of essence was like a thousand suns pouring into his veins.

His mana network expanded until the air itself bent around him.

The sky darkened when he walked, not because of evil, but because of the overwhelming density of energy that suffocated reality itself.

No one could look at him directly.

Even Sovereign-level beings, should they have witnessed him, would have seen not a man, but an abyss shaped like one.

He was no longer Daniel Valenhardt, the boy who began his journey clearing gates.

He had become something else entirely, an existence that defied the natural order.

And yet, in his silence, there was a strange serenity.

He didn't revel in his strength.

He didn't boast of his victories.

Each death was merely another step toward balance, a necessity, not pleasure.

By the end of that week, nearly half the reported facilities were gone.

The northern winds carried whispers of his name, not out of reverence, but out of fear and awe.

The survivors, if any, managed to flee, could only spread rumours of the Shadow of Desolation, the one who erased worlds in a breath.

And through it all, Daniel remained unchanged — calm, focused, and relentless.

He had already ascended to a level where numbers no longer mattered.

Levels, stats, skills, they were just fragments of measurement in a world that could no longer contain him.

But even then, he continued to push forward.

Because for him, this wasn't about proving power.

It was about eradicating the organisation, completely, absolutely, irreversibly.

The Zero Organisation would be wiped from the map of existence, and every scar they left upon the world would be cleansed.

Until then, Daniel Valenhardt would not stop.

Even then, at some point, Daniel found himself standing upon a snow-covered hill at the peak of a silent mountain.

The cold wind lashed against his coat, carrying with it the faint scent of frozen blood and ash, remnants of the chaos he had unleashed below.

His expression remained unreadable, his gaze fixed on the translucent blue screen that shimmered before him.

[: Abomination Facilities :]

– 70 / 758

A simple number, yet one that held the weight of hundreds of lives saved and countless others erased.

He had cleared 70 of them in two weeks.

Compared to the vast total, it seemed insignificant, a small ripple in an endless ocean of darkness.

But Daniel knew better.

Each facility destroyed was a root of corruption severed, a node of suffering erased from the world's surface.

Every child freed, every soul unbound, carried the light of hope that the Zero Organisation had long sought to extinguish.

Snowflakes fell gently around him, melting before they could touch his skin.

His aura distorted the air, a silent reminder that he no longer belonged to the same realm as the mortals below.

His hands, though unstained, had ended hundreds of thousands of lives in just days.

And yet, he felt no guilt, only purpose.

He exhaled softly, a mist of warmth vanishing into the frigid air.

The mountain beneath him was quiet, but deep within its stillness, Daniel could sense the next location calling, another abomination waiting to be purged.

The number seventy flickered before his eyes.

It wasn't enough.

Not yet.

He clenched his fist, the void itself pulsing faintly in response.

Without hesitation, Daniel whispered, his voice calm and cold,

[: Void Step :]

And with that, he vanished from the peak; the hunt continued.
