​"Hey!! That was my favorite dagger!!!" Jinx shrieked the moment her shock wore off, her voice laced with genuine fury.

​Ellen blinked, the ancient white light in her eyes receding, leaving behind their normal, deep purple hue. She looked mortified.

​"Oh... I am, I am so sorry," she stammered, genuinely apologetic.

​"Wait, she heard me from this distance?" Jinx was stunned, quickly realizing the significance. They were tens of miles away, yet Ellen's reaction was immediate and specific.

​"Ask how you could also hear her," Sunny noted, his voice calm, already analyzing the enhanced sensory connection between the two. He opened his arms, and his daughter flew toward him, wrapping him in a fierce hug.

​"I did it, Dad," Ellen whispered, her face radiant with a mix of relief and pride.

​"Yes. I am so proud of you," Sunny replied, returning the hug with rare warmth.

​"Blah, blah, blah. Yeah, my sister is strong, but you haven't seen mine," Jinx interrupted with an exaggerated eye roll, trying to reclaim the focus.

​"Hope you aren't expecting a hug, because you aren't getting any," Sunny said, looking at her over his shoulder with a playful smirk.

​"Just watch and see." Jinx removed her cloak, and threw it high into the air.

​Sunny and Ellen took a few steps back instinctively. Jinx bit her finger, drawing a bead of blood, then caught her cloak and smeared the blood onto the cloth.

​"Seal of Entity!! Break!!" she screamed. The next moment, the cloak glowed with blinding light and erupted in a muffled explosion, the sheer force pushing Sunny and Ellen back several meters.

​"Sister!" Ellen cried out in surprise.

​"Calm down," Sunny said, folding his arms across his chest, observing intently. "Jinx would never do anything that would truly harm herself."

​The two watched as the powerful light dispersed, revealing Jinx in a new form: she was encased in a beautiful, overlapping suit of black scales, and two huge, powerful black dragon wings were folded behind her.

​"Hah... So this is the feeling of letting go and being free," Jinx muttered, slowly settling onto her feet. "It seems my scales increased my defense... Not only that, now, I can fly!" She smiled happily, twisting her head to admire her new wings.

​'Hmm... Jinx's bloodline is even more amazing, a perfect counterpoint to Ellen's. Let's test it right now,' Sunny thought. He drew a dagger and hurled it at Jinx with the full, non-lethal, but highly focused strength of a God Rank warrior.

​"How cute."

​Jinx smirked, and in a terrifying, seamless instant, she took on Sunny's exact appearance.

​'What the hell?!' Sunny was stunned.

​BAM!!

​His own dagger struck the doppelgänger's chest. An instant later, Sunny staggered backward, clutching his own chest with a deep frown as the force of the strike was violently reversed onto him.

​'Taking my appearance transfers any damage taken directly to me. Even if someone else attacked her, I would receive the full damage while she remained untouched. This is terrifyingly unique,' Sunny thought, forcing himself upright.

​Ellen quickly touched Sunny's arm, and all the sharp, internal pain from the blow instantly vanished, healing him completely. Sunny looked down at her in surprised gratitude.

​'It seems her passive healing and restorative abilities have also increased greatly. Another complementary power,' he realized.

​"Remove that appearance!" Sunny yelled, then snapped his fingers. One hundred Mercenaries and five powerful God Rank Knights instantly materialized, forming a disciplined defensive line in front of him.

​"You're scared all the damage will be transferred to you, aren't you?" Jinx giggled, the black scales making her laugh sound a little sharp.

"I told you I was also strong." She reverted to her own new scaled appearance, then multiplied, creating a hundred perfect copies of herself.

​"With my current strength, I can only make one hundred copies. But they're enough here," she declared, pointing a clawed finger at the Mercenaries and Knights.

​'Jinx is strong, but the Mercenaries and Knights aren't weak. Although they're just summons, the knights are experienced God Rank combatants,' Sunny mused, watching the clash.

​A Knight lunged at one of Jinx's copies and with a clean, powerful slash of its greatsword, decapitated it.

​"Hehehe... Killing my copies is the end of your soldiers," Jinx sang, her main body untouched.

​BOOM!!

​A sudden, powerful invisible force struck the Knight that had killed the copy, instantly shattering its armor and body into a shower of ruined metal and dust. The same fate met every soldier who had inflicted damage.

​'Her backlash has so much power it could instantly destroy a God Rank Knight... If Lester gets hold of these two, his power will become exponential. Thank goodness they're with me,' Sunny thought, a small, genuine smile forming on his face. He felt less like a ruler and more like a proud, and slightly terrified, father.

​"Wow... Sister is so powerful," Ellen said with a genuine, awe-filled gasp, her bright eyes fixed on the battle. "She doesn't even have to fight, and all the enemies will be eliminated. If they refuse to attack her copies, they lose the battle. If they do attack, they die from the backlash... Impressive."

​'And you, Ellen, are equally terrifying. Any attack you deal on an enemy causes that enemy to suffer 50% of your full strength stat in continuous damage for a whole five minutes. You literally stand there and watch your enemy die before your eyes after one successful strike,' Sunny reflected, looking at Ellen from the corner of his eye.

​He watched as his entire army of Mercenaries and Knights was destroyed by Jinx's unique defense mechanism, while her main body stood completely still, a triumphant sneer on her face.

​"Now, Sunny," Jinx asked, her sneer softening into a glorious, arrogant smirk.

"Who is the strongest between the two of us?"
