After a surprisingly refreshing sleep. It was time to work a bit. Only I wouldn't be going over to my office or any other office for that matter.
I will be working from 'home'. Which just means I'm going to be staying in my bed for a while.
At least for now, since I could accomplish first few tasks for the day right here.
Planetary Interface.
After selecting the option on my status, another larger window popped up in front of me containing an array of options for me to click and dive in to.
Overview
City Management
Portal Management
Planetary Messaging
Planetary Forces
System Integration
Just six options, but each of them had a lot of significance.
Overview
Planet: Earth
Population: ~400 Million
Lord: Raizen
Viceroy: -None-
Planet Commander: -None-
Honestly seeing the population so plainly was kind of interesting. From billions to just this. Especially since when exited the Tutorial, we were told that our total number was just shy of a billion.
Now it's down to 400 million.
Though…now that I've traveled to every single System City on the Planet…I definitely did met or see hundreds of millions of people.
That is actually quite troubling.
Even if every City held a million people which they don't, that wouldn't be anywhere near 100 million, let alone 400.
Hmm…definitely something to investigate.
In detail.
Anyway…I wonder if the Planet will ever reach its previous numbers. It's a lot bigger now do there would definitely be more space.
Though nature and all the wildlife will eventually push back, so maybe not.
Moving on, a Viceroy and a Planet Commander.
The former would essentially be mg second in command on the Planet. Kind of like a vice president of a country. Of course I immediately think of Richard, but I would want to have a real conversation with him about it first.
I've tossed a lot of responsibility onto him since returning from the Tutorial and simultaneously have placed a lot of trust in him.
But it's probably a good time to actually have a talk about his future, and what he wants to do.
I can't keep expecting him to just accept every single thing I toss his away.
Moving on, there's the Planet Commander. This role ties directly into the Planet Forces tab in the Interface.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
It will allow me to create an official force under myself as the Planetary Lord. Of course this is something I technically already have with my Clan and the Internals within, but the idea here is that this force will represent my will as the Lord of the Planet.
Whether it was here on Earth doing various things, on another planet running an errand for Planetary Lord of Earth.
They would he recognized by the system, and I'd be able to grant them certain privileges on Earth through the Interface.
While a small part of me feels it's not necessary, the more logical side me understands the necessity of it. For one, I think it's best to keep my Clan separate from it. Currently I've been using them like soldiers for the most part, but in the long run I would want them to have a community of their own.
Start families, have their own dreams and be able to pursue them.
Within reason of course, since they will still be members of the Clan. Now while no countries technically exist on the home planet I've never been to and the Clans kind of fill that gap, they are still different.
A Clan might act and behave like a country, but it is not one. It is a Clan, my Clan. Its members are loyal to me and I am loyal to them.
Anything else is unacceptable.
So while I want them to be able to create their own communities, if I ordered the Clan to move then every soul would move.
Now while I'm currently rooting myself here for the foreseeable future, that might not always be the case. There's massive Multiverse out there to be explored and I will eventually do just that.
That's not even to mention visiting Planet Infernal. Who knows, maybe I'll even more there semi permanently one day.
Actually, I'm pretty sure it's required for me to visit at least once before my Clan is officially official.
Either way, whatever it is I decide to do, I don't want the Planetary forces here to be made up of mostly Infernals and then if I decide to leave the force just goes empty. That wouldn't be good for the Planet.
Which means some massive recruitment will take place.
Very carefully though.
Can't have a bunch of idiots a part of the force in charge of being a military presence for the whole planet…Or at least the couple million people living within the System City.
Honestly I still can't get over that.
Hundreds of millions of people…where could they be?
Alright. I'll go ask the Immortal mermaid about it when I get a chance.
For now, let's finish up here.
Next came City Management, in this section I could dismiss City Lords, appoint new ones, and even change the name of the City if I so wish… and actually.
City Management
Cities
1. Black Cove City
2. New Earth Union
3. Cliffside City
4. New Antarctica
5. City of Hope
6. United Race City
7. Blue Water City
8. The North Pole
9. New Asia City
10. Valley of Red
11. The Gaia Empire
12. Little Earth
13. Garden of the Dead
The Gaia Empire – City Lord Evangline Van Kirk
Dismiss City Lord
Name Change
Confirm Name Change from 'The Gaia Empire' to 'Gaia City'?
I confirmed the selection and watched as the list updated in real time. Plus I believe a notification went out to all the residents residing in what is now Gaia City. The little empire in the name bothered me, since they weren't one.
Then came…
Portal Management
Designate Portal Location
Manage Portal Access
Thankfully I didn't have to visit the Cities all over again to designate the Portal Location. I just had to select the City, and a very plain 3-D model of said City would show up, then I simply had to pick a sport and the portal would form.
From what I understood, it would literally just be a floating portal with no other structure around it, so we would have to do a bit of construction in regard to that.
It would also take some troubleshooting to figure out how to get from one City to another once all the portals were up and running. This thing didn't come with a easily explainable system to pick where you wanted to be teleported to.
We'll figure it out though.
Planetary Forces is literally just for managing employees. I can see who is in the force down to their finest details and essentially be an HR manager.
Form payment to promotions. It could all be handled there.
It was pretty useless right now since not a single soul was a part of the force, but there will be time for that in the future.
Now finally, there was System Integration.
And it really only served one purpose.
To integrate Planet Earth to the wider Multiverse.
It was the whole reason for becoming a Planetary Lord in the first place.
If all the factions were still here in full, then it likely wouldn't have been necessary for a long time, since we were able to connect our own City shops with the others on Earth to buy and sell wares.
Wares that each faction brought with them from outside the Planet. Now while we could still connect to each other, there was almost no point since, no one was advanced enough to sell things like that ice cooler thing just yet.
Connecting the Planet to the Multiverse will once again open the doors to buying things that otherwise can't be found here.
It was…sure to be interesting since I have no idea how it will work exactly.
So for now, I will further stabilize the situation on Earth, then it's integration time.
