Infernal Apocalypse [ LitRPG , Non-Human Lead, Lots and lots of Fire ]

210. Materials Arrive (Book Three)

The week came and went, and I barely noticed, as I was deep in focus trying to cultivate. It was Vrusha who came and got me.

It seems our visitors were finally here.

The Ironcrest Consortium and the Brightstar Merchant Group. Both of them came at the same time it seems, and they bought a whole bunch of people with them. Literally thousands. The embassy we built wasn't really big enough for that amount of people, so there was a big group building up outside.

I didn't see any luggage though, so l assume everything was in rings. That was quickly proven to be true, as after entering the Embassy, I could see a few Infernals going through rings one by one.

Interesting, I hadn't even told them to do all of that. But good on them.

Of course everyone in the area had noticed my approach and every time I walked near one of my Clan members they would offer a small bow before getting back to work. I'd gotten pretty used to it by this point.

Anyway, I found my target and approached them.

It was person who handled my deal with Brightstar.

Once I neared them, the person offered a very deep bow and raised their heads slowly with a mellow smile plastered on their face.

"It is my pleasure to meet you in person Patriarch Raizen. I vow that you will not regret in the slightest deciding to allow our presence here."

I wasn't one to judge since I myself was technically an alien too, but the person before me had no mouth.

I think it was a she…just based on the voice and the overall shape of their mostly humanoid body, but there was no mouth or even nose to be seen. Just two eyes that sat on olive green skin.

A much different shade than that of the members of the Olirag Clan. Either way, it was still odd to hear a voice out loud but see no mouth or any sort of movement at all.

"Glad to have you. Now, have you prepared my request?"

"Of course!"

He then summoned two documents and handed them to me.

"On page one of both documents are items we currently have on hand that match your requirements, and on the back or page two, were things that we do not have but can procure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests!"

I took the document, gave my thanks and departed back to my office. I couldn't order anything during the call, but I at least placed a request for information on materials to be ready on arrival.

This was after giving them a list of the requirements I was aiming to accomplish with this spear of mine.

Honestly, it was an idea that I got from video games and anime. I don't really want to deal with the trouble of getting a new spear every single I get stronger, so why not make one that can last me for a lifetime?

Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road.

I don't know if it's entirely possible and I would need to ask the Dwarven smith who would be responsible for making the spear.

But I asked for materials that would be conducive to that dream and Brightstar came through, so that gives me a bit of hope that what I am asking for isn't entirely impossible.

Alright lets take a look. This first document would be for the metals making up the blade.

Hm.

I then flipped the first document to the back.

Alright.

Turns out I am poor.

There are 7 items listed on the front and another 10 listed on the back. Out of all 17 items I could literally only afford one singular thing. Just one.

Thankfully it was on the front so I wouldn't have to wait for it, but shit.

At least it sounded dope.

Darculean Vein Steel – A metal constantly tempered over the course of hundreds of years by magma running deep beneath the crust of a Planet. Bright red veins containing scorching Qi filled Maga continuously pulse throughout every piece of Darculean.

Cost (Per Unit) – 40 Rank Two Spirt Stones (Any Grade)

That was honestly pretty expensive since I only had a few hundred of them, but it was also the only thing on the list I could buy.

I didn't even bother staring at the at the other items for too long.

With that decision out of the way, next came the list of items that would make up the shaft of my spear.

Hm.

Wow…I really am poor.

We need to get that spirit stones mine up and running immediately and also start selling some stuff back to these merchants. Hm…maybe those fruits from the frost dungeon? We have plenty of them, and our ability to defend ourselves have gone up significantly.

Plus there's also the soft backing being an infernal awards me.

Alright I'll think about it.

Anyway, like the previous document, I could only afford one item. Thankfully it too, was also in stock.

Titan Bark – Harvested from 1000 year old trees on Planet Titan. They are prized for their strength, flexibility, and growth capabilities.

Cost (Per Unit) – 60 Rank Two Spirit Stones (Any Grade)

There were other items on the document, but extremely far out of my price range. I just hope this will do for now. And well, even if she does not manage to make something that can grow with me to the top, I hope it's a still a monster of a spear.

Now I don't think it's been a year since I was given the task to gather materials, but it should be pretty close to it, considering we spent all that time traveling around the Planet.

So after placing my orders for the materials, and receiving a ring with everything inside, I took a portal over to Little Earth.

"She hasn't exited her forge since you last spoke to her. I can't stop you from knocking on her door, but she left strict instructions not to bother.

"That's all I got for you."

I see. Fine I'll just wait.

"Do you have a spare room?"

"Yeah but it doesn't furniture in it."

"No problem. I'll wait there until she emerges if you don't mind."

He didn't mind, and I was led to the empty room. Alright, Lidaz, the boys, and Ozal will handle the merchants and in the meantime I will cultivate.

And so time passed…

Time that I spent burning away impurities on my core. It was painful to walk around it, but so far it hasn't hampered my ability to fight or operate my day to day.

I'm not really sure how much time has passed since I've sat down in this room, but by the time Vrusha respectfully knocked on my door, I think I was finally close to completing one cycle.

Progress.

Slow progress, but progress.

"The smith has exited her forge Patriarch."

Ah finally time to see if she can make my lifetime spear.

"The answer is no."

Well shit.

"I am only in the Nascent Realm. It is not possible for me to make you a weapon that can reach a level that I haven't reached myself. There's not a single Dwarf out there who will ever claim to be able to make something like that below the Immortal Realm.

"This is not even to talk about the type of materials it would require making something like that."

I then handed her the ring that contained the purchased materials without saying anything.

Her eyes widened a bit after seeing what was present in the ring.

"…I…I can make you a spear that will grow with you to the Nascent Soul Realm. That is all I can promise."

"I'll take it."
