Narration
It had been an untold amount of time since the world descended into the dark and eternal purgatory known as the Eternal Flame. Yet with the exception of the rats who had entered the planet, no one had been harmed. In fact, if it was for the perennial darkness now covering the planet, life would have been very pleasing otherwise.
The entire planet was being quite docile at the moment, since no person, beast, plant, or anything else for that matter dared to act in a way they perceived might get them killed.
All of the Infernals present on Earth had even ceased all of their activities and have just been a state of meditation and cultivation the entire time. It was especially beneficial for them to be this close to the Eternal Flame.
Especially so for Lidaz who was still in the midst of his breakthrough to the Immortal Realm.
But all of this had to end at some point. None of it was good for the planet itself. All of its growth was quite literally being restricted and it dared not push back.
Something had to be done.
…
"To think I would have to clean up his mess so soon. It took 1000 years before someone had to clean up after me, yet not even 100 years have passed and this little brother of mine needs that same help.
"It's fine I suppose, we're all different. I don't mind. That's what families are for. Perhaps one day in the future he will be of some help to me, though it'll probably be a few millennia before anything he could ever do is worth some help to me. But again. That's what families are for."
The man who was standing outside of the planet with a placid expression on his face spoke to no one in particular, but even if he was in a crowded market or alone in the void, he was type of man that would always speak with complete silence surrounding him.
Who would dare open their mouths before him?
"Look at him. Just floating. Not moving, not doing anything, just existing as the Eternal Flame. Memories.
"Anyway.
"How long are you going to stand there and watch me?"
The man question didn't move his gaze from the planet below and in turn Raizen, but the person in which his question was directed at spoke quickly.
"Forgive me, my Lord, I dared not move within your presence."
"Ok, and you, how long are you going to grovel?"
And once again, the concerned party quickly began to talk.
"I…This...This lowly one understands that they are now in the presence of someone far above their station. It is above my realm of understanding and I seek forgiveness for my transgressions, for I have sinned against thee."

"Enough. Your death will come, but it won't come by my hand. I'm sure my little brother will have a thing or two to say towards you. You on the other hand. You helped my little brother, so I will not kill you for your act of disrespect towards the Eternal Flame and those that represent it. At least the rat knows how to gravel.
"But this is your only exception. Kneel."
The man smoke and blue scaled Immortal could sense the laws wrapping themselves willingly around her body as if telling her to kneel at this current moment. In that same breadth she could also feel that she could resist this command with little to no effort, but she wasn't so stupid that she didn't know that the second she resisted it would be the last day of her life.
Of course, all of these thoughts only occurred in her mind after she had dutifully kneeled and bowed her head. Her instincts as an Immortal had acted and forced her body to kneel before her thoughts could even catch up to the matter.
Those were the instincts of survival when faced with death.
"Now that things are as they should be. Let's fix this, shall we?"
The man now ignored the groveling rat and the kneeling woman before a sharp focus began to exude from his body and he locked onto the figure of Raizen, or at least the mess of intent that now made up Raizen and all that he was.
"Raizen."
The man standing outside of the planet called Raizen's name softly yet with the sort of power that couldn't be seen by the naked eye of a mortal.
Of course it really looked as if nothing happened after he said his name but that would be only if once just looked at things from the surface level.
Just that word alone did a lot behind the scenes or better yet behind the veil that contains that which cannot be perceived by those who are not worthy. Laws.
Things began to shift here and there, strings that had been disconnected began to reach for their better halves, others who shouldn't have connected in the first place began to pull away from each other. Slowly but surely, things were moving.
Raizen was currently the embodiment of the Eternal Flame. As a real and proper Infernal Patriarch, there were many abilities afforded to him and this was one of them. But he was far from powerful enough to truly be in control of it. In fact not even first or second stage Immortal can truly handle the weight of the real Eternal Flame.
It was why he was currently lost in his own mind. There is nothing but fog and emptiness with Raizen's mind at the moment. He wasn't thinking about anything, and he wasn't even capable of doing so if even if he wished. There were simply nothing. It was almost as if he wasn't existing currently.
But with just one word from the man outside of the planet, the massive confusion began to unravel. It began to unwind and become free of the grasp the Eternal Flame had on Raizen.
Though it wasn't as if the Eternal Flame wanted to harm rising, nor was that the Eternal Flame didn't want to help Raizen, but there are still so many things about the Eternal Flame that Raizen didn't know.
All the 'help' it could offer right now was just ensuring that Raizen didn't die from taking on pressure that he could not handle.
Perhaps if Raizen knew everything there was to know, he would look at it all a bit differently. For example, even the voice that Raizen heard anytime the Eternal Flame spoke to him, wasn't as straightforward as it seemed.
That voice is not the voice of the Eternal Flame. How could it? The voice of an older fatherly figure? No, that voice is the voice Raizen interpreted the Eternal Flame in whenever it 'spoke' to him. The Eternal Flame is not a man, nor it is a human, it is not even an Infernal.
It is nothing but the epitome of chaos and destruction and only Infernal Patriarchs and Matriarchs can interpret and understand their voice because they are children of that flame. Not children in a biological sense, but children in the sense of the laws of the world.
They are quite literally the offspring of a concept and that is why they are not simple beings to be underestimated at any junction.
And it is also what gives them the opportunity to get lost and mistakenly weave their own selves far too tightly too tightly in the mess of what a concept is and that is what happened to Raizen's mind because it is not strong enough to understand, and to cope with the concept of the epitome of chaos and destruction.
