Chapter 562 Giving Gifts_2

Weiser: "Shall we split up then?"

Everyone nodded in agreement and dispersed. The bubble town seemed to be built above the clouds. Although not as urbanized as Gospel, its roads were clean, its citizens had good manners, there were few vehicles, and street performers played gentle bagpipes. Children chased each other in the streets, and the afternoon sunlight slanted through the inverted triangular roofs, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Diya searched along the colorful light columns for materials: "A pocket watch that can stop all the clocks in the area", "A sword that inevitably breaks and heals itself", "A stone that returns automatically"... Most of these Void materials had special miracles, practical ones were rare, but through reproduction they could reveal different colors.

Witch naturally prioritized finding trees, but only found one "tree whose bark, when stuck to your face, makes others want to kiss you". As she seriously considered whether to obtain the rights to this material, Ash's voice suddenly rang out from behind her: "Are you thinking of choosing this material?"

"Ah! Ah! Ah!" The Witch turned around in alarm, shaking her head repeatedly while pulling Ash forward: "No, I haven't decided what to choose yet—Observer, why did you come over here?"

"Because when I saw everyone splitting up, I realized this was a rare opportunity." Ash smiled. "Finally, I have some time alone with you."

"Ah? Oh!" Diya blinked, observing Ash's earnest expression, and the sisters in her mind all screamed in unison, the only thought in her dazed mind—thank goodness I didn't bring Liss tonight.

"Is there something you wanted to find me for?"

"Can't I look for you if there's nothing up?"

"Of course not—you're teasing me!" Seeing Ash's smile, Diya playfully punched him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, maybe hanging out with a guy who loves to tease too much has rubbed off on me," Ash coughed twice to clear his throat, then suddenly produced a small bag: "This is for you."

The Witch carefully accepted the bag, taking out a set of exquisite black and white clothes, complete with shoes, shorts, and silk stockings.

She looked up at Ash with puzzled eyes. Coughing, Ash explained: "This is a reward I got from a certain adventure, a set of clothes tailor-made for you. I don't really know what it looks like when worn, but I know that if you wear this outfit in the Void Realm, your use of Water Magic miracles in the Rain Curtain area will be enhanced by 50%..."

Before he could finish, Diya had already changed into the outfit, twirling before him and asking, "Does it look good?"

"Beautiful!" Ash clapped his hands: "This outfit is called 'Empress in the Rain,' and it suits you perfectly."

"Thank you!" Diya threw herself at Ash, spinning him around twice, laughing joyfully: "I'm so happy!"

"As long as you like it." Ash ruffled her hair. "I'll go back to finding Void materials now, see you later."

"See you later!"

After Ash left, Diya went to a clothing store to admire herself in the mirror, liking her reflection more and more. It perfectly matched her usual style of dress, filling her with delight. Having received clothes today, she couldn't even begin to imagine what might come next!

But soon, a question posed by Black Butler abruptly ended the Witch sisters' delightful time—

"He said earlier that there were two gifts."

...

Sonia pushed open the oak door, the doorbell chiming pleasantly. The interior was spotless and tidy, the air filled with the scent of exotic classical music, and the middle-aged store manager polished glasses behind the counter while a few scattered customers sipped coffee and busied themselves with other matters.

This was a coffee shop. She approached the table lit by a colorful light column and received detailed information about this Void material: "A coffee table that prevents one from being distracted while drinking coffee."

Although it wasn't the legendary unmemorable wood, as a Void material involving the Spirit Faction, a little refinement could fetch a good price, and if there were no other options, this one might be worth choosing... While the Village Girl was pondering the value of the item, the coffee shop's bell rang again.

She looked up to see Ash walking straight toward her, sitting down opposite her.

"What a coincidence, you found this place too."

"You walking towards me is a coincidence?" Although she said this, Sonia's eyes couldn't hide her smile: "Have you decided on a material yet?"

"Not yet." Ash glanced down at the coffee table: "This seems pretty good."

"It's not bad, but do you have a place to process this table now? You can't exactly chase after Silver Lamp with it, can you?"

"Then you can keep it or sell it." Ash said carelessly: "Or give it to Weiser, although she never complains, resources have always been prioritized for you and Witch, and her contributions deserve more rewards... we shouldn't always take advantage of the honest ones."

Sonia nodded in agreement, thinking the same. As a member of the Holy Domain, Weiser was too obedient, and given her significant role in the Distant Realm, it was counterproductive to exploit her for little gain; now was the time to allocate more resources to win her over.

Though that was her thought, Sonia said, "Then give her my share of the resources, after all, she's more useful than me now."

"Not at all, you're equally important."

"How so?"

"Your output is high, you're still an essential guard in our team."

"But Weiser is proficient in all the main factions. If you give her the resources, she could become a powerful guard too."
