The pile of ooze didn't waste any time when attacking these monsters.
The only thing that the pile of ooze was acting on was instinct, so it just effectively swallowed all of the monsters that had tried to attack it.
Once the monsters were enveloped in the ooze, the only thing that they could do was try and struggle in vain to break free from the grasp of the ooze. But no matter how they struggled, they just weren't able to shake off the tentacles that the pile of ooze created.
These tentacles were made of the ooze and were actually quite easy to cut through.
The problem was that there were just too many tentacles for them to cut through them all.
It was as if there were ten more tentacles that appeared for each one that the monsters cut.
So in the end, they were completely enveloped in these tentacles and pulled into the pile of ooze.
After they were swallowed, it seemed like there was a reaction that came from the pile of ooze. It seemed like there was some kind of change that came over the pile of ooze when it swallowed these monsters.
The tentacles that had been grabbing at these monsters slowly changed.
After a goblin was swallowed, it seemed like the tentacle changed into a hand.
This hand was the same shape as the hand of the goblin that had been swallowed previously.
It wasn't just a single hand that appeared, it was several hands that were the same that appeared at the same time. It seemed like they sprouted from the same tentacle as they reached out towards the monsters that still hadn't been trapped yet.
But it wasn't just the goblin hand that was imitated.
There were orcs, ogres, spiders, and other monsters that were also here as well that were being attacked by the pile of ooze.
It didn't matter which one was attacked, the only thing that happened was that the tentacles changed to match the monster that was swallowed.
There were appendages that came from a variety of different monsters that started sprouting from the pile of ooze.
Even though it was surrounded by monsters, it really seemed like the pile of ooze was the real monster with how it had changed its appearance. It really seemed like it was a mishmash of all the different monsters that it had swallowed.
This was the second power that the pile of ooze had.
The first was the curse of immortality that it possessed.
The second was that it could assimilate anything that it ate to become a part of itself and use that power against its enemies.
With more enemies, there would be more things to assimilate.
Eventually, the parts of itself that it had assimilated from others would break down and fall apart since it wasn't able to maintain this forever. If it was able to do that, then it would really be considered a perfect creature since it could absorb everything in the world.
Even if the Saradon Family was crazy, it wasn't as if they would be crazy enough to create something that could destroy the entire world like that.
Though what they had created was still powerful enough that it would be called a disaster.
With the power that this pile of ooze possessed, it could easily destroy a country all on its own.
So it naturally didn't have any problems taking care of all of these monsters that were in front of it.
With all of the monsters subdued, the only thing left to do was to capture the pile of ooze once more inside of the Spatial Bag.
But since we had been confident enough to let it out, it was only natural that we already had a way of bringing the pile of ooze back into the Spatial Bag.
I had already laid the trap, I was just waiting for the pile of ooze to react to it.
When the pile of ooze was done with the monsters, it started looking around as if it was looking for even more things to swallow. Even though it had already swallowed all of these monsters, it seemed that the appetite of this pile of ooze couldn't be satisfied that easily.
After a while, it finally noticed the bait that I had left behind.
This was meat from a special cow that Rothchild had supplied.
We knew that this pile of ooze wouldn't be able to resist this meat and as expected, it suddenly started charging in that direction without any hesitation.
But the moment that it came close, there were the same daggers and weapons that came out to attack the pile of ooze.
Only this time, it seemed that it had learned from before and created appendages that blocked it.
That was when I seized the chance to appear and kicked the pile of ooze towards the open Spatial Bag.
It was only expected that the pile of ooze would learn from last time as it knew that it would be a trap. Even something without a brain would be able to figure something like this out after experiencing it once.
"If we keep using it, there will come a time where we won't be able to contain it anymore." I said to Rothchild after seeing the pile of ooze land inside of the Spatial Bag.
He didn't say anything, but the nod that he gave was more than enough to show what he was thinking.
It seemed like we had to figure out a way to take care of this pile of ooze in the future or we would have a problem.
But that was for the future.
It wasn't as if we would be able to figure anything out right now when we knew too little about it in the first place.
"Work hard on studying those notes, we'll be counting on you to take care of it."
Once again, Rothchild just responded with a single nod.
