Grey's figure silently flickered into existence as the whole inscription grew bright with a pale blue light. A middle aged man with a sallow face and dry black hair walked out. His face was calm and from his demeanor, no one could read his expression.
The sallow face man walked out of the teleportation inscription in silence. He then turned his head and looked at it, before heading a heavy sigh.

The day before he decided to leave Sky Mist City, Grey could be seen sitting down on a stones bench while Ange could be seen standing behind him.
Her Auburn hair flayed gently behind her as the wind made her hair go wild. She gently tucked it behind her eears and looked at Grey.
Although it was subtle, she emitted energy fluctuations from a realm that was higher than Qi Accumulation. Ange had stepped into the Foundation Establishment realm.
Grey could smell the calming scent of medicinal herbs and a dense medicinal fragrance emanating from her body.
From the strong scent alone, Great could tell that she had advanced in her mastery of Medicine once again.
Of course, after Sky Mist found such a treasure, she was secretly taken in by an elder and made a Core Disciple. Her refining talents were just too great to ignore.
Because of that, she had been given lots of resources to practice on and improve her mastery, as well as cultivation resources to cultivate, it wasn't surprising that she could enter the Foundation Establishment realm at this rate.
Seeing Grey silent and sitting on the stones bench, looking at his pitch black shadow, she gave a slow sigh and brought something out of her storage bag to give Grey.
When Grey scanned it with his perception, he first grew alarmed, but then he grew stunned and took a look at it with his eyes.
In Ange's palm was a small pill bottle. But inside the pill bottle there was a single pill.
That pill was the size of half a thumb and emitted energy fluctuations in the Perfected Level of Qi Accumulation.
When Grey saw this, he was surprised, he then looked at Ange. His silent gaze urges her to explain.
"This is a Soul pill that I refined from a Devil's race cultivator in the Perfected Level of Qi Accumulation. He was on the edge of breaking through to Foundation Establishment when I refined him into a pill."
"When you are ready to break through, eat this pill and your breakthrough should be a lot easier. Although breaking through to the Foundation Establishment realm is different for everybody, there is still a need for it. It's like a mid-quality Foundation Establishment pill."
When Grey saw this, he knew that he couldn't refuse. Everyone should know that a Foundation Establishment pill was very rare, and hence very expensive. With even the low-quality grade costing tens of thousands of spirit stones. And by Ange giving him a mid-quality Soul pill that was similar to the mid-quality Foundation Establishment pill, he knew that he couldn't repay her if he collected, neither could he buy it. But the stern gaze that Ange gave him, he knew that she would'nt be happy if he refused. So he put the pill into his storage bag. His grey eyes held hints of gratitude, but just as he was about to speak, he heard Ange say.
"You don't have to say anything. Just break through to Foundation Establishment realm and come back." After saying that, she walked away.
Seeing her walk away, Gret couldn't help but let out a long sigh that was filled with emotion. Now, even Ange had advanced to the next realm while he was still in the eighth level.
He had fully mastered the Forbidden Monarch art and was in the Perfected Level. All he needed was a place to enter deep cultivation and with the right resources, he could break through.
But he didn't want to leave the Sky Mist Art in the Qi Accumulation realm while he advanced to Foundation Establishment. He was sure that it would affect his future cultivation drastically.
So he decided to save this Soul pill for whenever he wanted to break through or advance in levels.

After giving the phasing portal one last look, Grey's body swayed like a leaf in the wind and he disappeared. His body shuffled through the crowd of people like he was just going through them.
Because this teleportation array lead to a major city like Sky Mist City, there were lots of people going in out. Many mundane humans decided to leave the brutal world outside and live within the even harsher Sky Mist City.
But although they will be under a lot of financial pressure, they still preferred being safe in Sky Mist City than staying in the outside world where safety was definitely not guaranteed.
At least in Sky Mist City, there were cultivators if strange mutated creatures suddenly appeared, and they could be spared from bandits and criminals, all at a higher cost of living.
So, in the end, despite SKy Mist City's absurd living standard, it was all worth with when factored in with other variables.
As Grey silently left the teleportation district in the small City, he casually brought out the mysterious cloak add another layer of protection to his real identity.
He then brought out his Jade Slip and began to memorize the coordinates. He then faced in a particular direction and disappeared.
As Grey's body constantly flickered, he kept moving in a particular direction. His speed did not change, neither did he change direction for even one moment.
As he ran the vast expanse of deserted lands, the hours continued to pass by until a day had gone by. When it was night time, Grey decided to stop and rest.
As a cultivator in the eighth level of Qi Accumulation, he could keep running for several hours at once. As far as he did not use his full speed and did not completely spread out his perception, he would not get tired.
In fact, Grey could keep running at this pace for four days and four nights. But he decided to rest every night in case he suddenly came up against an enemy. Even though the chances of meeting someone in this vast and empty land was low, he didn't completely eliminate that possiblity.
So, that's why he decided to rest every night. To recover his energy and always be at full strength in case any unforeseen events suddenly occurred.
This pattern continued for close to a week when Grey suddenly stopped. His gaze was cold as he stood and surveyed the area around him with his perception.
As his perception extendes beyond 100 meters, Grey's eyes suddenly lit up as he punches out.
A fist sized air cannon was suddenly launched out from his fist into the sand below. But inside of the sand to scatter in the face of his Air Cannon, only small sans flew up, which puzzled grey.
But as he kept looking at the falling sand, one grain of sand flew towards to hand. Grey watched this happen until he felt a sharp pain in his hand. When he looked down, he saw a small trickle of blood.
At first, Grey was stunned. He had no clue of what was happening until he studied the sand. After observing them for a while, Grey noticed something perculiar about them.
The sand seemed to shine with a strange green luster when though there was any light. The only source of light was the moon but it's soft and gentle moonlight was not enough to the make the sand appear to have a green luster.
That was when Grey decided to touch the sand with his own hand. And when that happened, Grey felt sharp pain arise in his hand as he stuck his hand into the sand.
When Grey brought his hand out, he saw that the flesh had been pierced and stabbed and was falling apart into strips of flesh.
"I see. This sand is as Sharp as Glass. This means we are at that place. It means that I am already in the whistling fields." Grey said.
The whistling fields was said to be a large and spacious desert that was said to whistle a strange and eerie tune at night. But that whistling tune could only be heard when there was a sand storm in the whistling fields.
At that time, anyone that was caught in the sandstorm was said to disappear and never come back again. All that could be found of them were traces of their blood.
But because the Whistling Fields had been around ever since God descended, many of the local people believed that the Whistling Fields was the domain of a Bizarre existence that had never been seen before.
It only appears during the sandstorms and took away the people it finds. But although they have been no actual discoveries of the Bizarre existence said to own the Whistling Fields, not many cultivators take the Whistling Fields seriously. But they all still end up finding a shelter whenever there is a sandstorm.
Right now, Grey did not know whether to believe if there was truly a Bizarre existence, but he knew that the sand itself was very dangerous. That alone was probably why many people suddenly vanshed or went missing.
Grey decided to stay in the city in the Whistling Fields for some time before leaving. But soon after he began to run towards the city which was alighted in the Jade Slip, Grey heard a eerie and sinister whistling that made his blood run cold.
