When the darkness cleared, Liora stood up calmly.

The bone throne transformed into three pairs of wings and merged with her, spreading behind her. In an instant, the air around her thickened and grew even more sinister. The feathers are bone-like and sharper than daggers.

The eagle also transformed into a pentagon-shaped gem and merged with her forehead. It is purple in colour and holds so much death energy that a human should not have.

On the outside, she is a human, but at her core, she has been transformed, or more accurately enhanced, by the primordial shadow essence that once belonged to the umbral race during the primordial era.

This infusion created a new bloodline that merged her human side with the umbral, making her a new race called Nyxblood Human.

She is probably one of her kind.

Her bloodline affinity is shadow and death. Back then, she had reached a stage where Death even had to answer to her. Shadows bend to her will.

The True Name awakening had now transformed her, making her who she is meant to be. Her features are much sharper than before, and this time around, she seems to hold some coldness in her eyes even when smiling.

Of course, Kent had already discovered she had memories of her life as Vel'Zai, so that was a factor. Of course, she had yet to get back all her memories. But what she had now was enough to teach her how to handle the abilities he had awakened.

Kent smiled and dragged her toward him by the waist... "Not by a long shot. I have to make up for old time's sake" He kissed her again and said, "But for now, let the rest of your sisters have their own awakening before we get down to it."

She nodded, and hand in hand, they walked toward the rest of his wives.

As expected, they quickly surrounded Liora and started examining her body as if looking for something wrong. However, after a full minute, they saw nothing.

"How do you feel?" Selene asked, holding Liora's left hand while Elsa held her right.

"I feel complete."

Her sisters smiled, hearing her reply.

They didn't want to jinx it, but after their True Name awakening moments, they all felt like a part of them that had eluded them for long had finally merged back with them, making them whole again.

It is the best feeling, actually.

Kent turned to Arien, who is next on the awakening list.

Her seven fluffy tails billowed in the air behind her as she walked toward Kent. Because of the awakening, and since Adina and Runa are with them, they chose to put on pants and a bra.

Of course, they will take it off the first chance they get.

However, her boobs are barely contained in her bra, causing them to bounce as she walks toward him.

She walked straight into his arms, pressing her soft and firm boobs against his chest. Kent smiled cutely and kissed her before taking out a True Name awakening token.

"Before we start, I have something to tell you," Arien suddenly said, making Kent pause the activation.

"Before my grandma died, she said a very long time ago, on one of her trips to a Supreme High World, a diviner told her a member of her family would possess spatial abilities instead of the illusion we foxkins are known for.

Of course, having the ability to manipulate space sounds like a good thing. However, she said the diviner told her that awakening such powers would bring a curse on me that if I don't break it before growing my 9th tail, I will die.

So I guess I am scared this awakening will trigger this curse. She said she had researched what the diviner said and found that he hadn't deceived her.

All foxkin who awakened other abilities instead of illusion didn't live long."

Kent smiled and cupped Arien's cheeks... "Have you met Alina?" Kent asked.

Arien nodded.

"You see. When I met her, she was only a manager at an auction house. She was broken and bitter from a past encounter with a now-dead scum.

So while Alina wouldn't have even been looked at twice if she had tried to join a formation sect, after her True Name awakening, sects would have been the ones chasing after her.

Her True Name changed everything about her.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that she was once a legendary figure who played a key role in the safety of the universe and earned a True Name, and that True Name gave her a new and wonderful life.

This means True Names bring out the good in people, not the bad.
