Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1337: Bello

"Are you really going to take everything inside our storage pouches?" Axiom asked, almost shedding tears.

Kent ignored him, a smile playing on his face as he looked into the three storage pouches hovering before him. They are the storage pouches he took for his three new void legion.

After a few minutes, he looked up and grinned...

"Looks like you three came prepared."

"Of course, we came prepared. The moment we hijacked the Void Temple, we became criminals and can never return to the Void Universe, so we have to take all we can with us," Kailan responded, looking at Kent with a calm expression.

"Well, that is good then." Kent waved his hand, and three things appeared. When Axiom and his pals saw this, they only sighed, knowing what they feared had come to pass.

"I will be taking these three. However, that doesn't mean if I need more, I wouldn't ask for it." Kent stored the three things in his space ring and added in a reassuring tone... "Don't worry, we will one day return to the Void Universe, and just like what we did the last time, we will plunder their treasure houses."

Hearing his words, the three Void beasts smiled. At least with that plan, they would recover the pain of losing a Void Liquid Essence, Void Domain Flower, and the most important of them all, the Void Rune Key.

All three of these are things that, if used, Kent's mastery in the path of Void will take a huge leap.

"Since we have settled that, how about you three bring the true Temple Master out so I can kill him and be done with this trial?"

Axiom nodded and snapped his finger. The void cracked, and from within, a Core Immortal, shackled on both arms and legs, fell through and landed on the ground.

Kent looked at the poor guy and sighed, "One last thing, do you have any techniques on Void Mastery and perhaps a few martial void techniques?"

"I do. Does Master Chaos need them right now?"

"No. I will need them when we return home."

Axiom nodded, walking back to let Kent handle the shackled Void beast's Temple Master.

"Should I free him so you can have a good battle with him?" Axiom asked, and Kent thought for a moment before he nodded.

"Why not?"

Axiom nodded and snapped his finger again. The chains binding the void temple master's arms and legs broke... "Summon your weapon and let's have a go. I need to stretch my legs at least."

One could see the fear in the poor guy's reddish eyes. He is not afraid of Kent; his fear is directed at the three void beasts standing behind him.

However, he obeyed and summoned a bow. Seeing this, Kent's brow furrowed. However, instead of calling off the battle since he knew it wouldn't be close combat, the idea of dodging and defending against deadly arrows filled him with so much adrenaline.

He pointed his jagged sword at the Temple Master and muttered, "Come at me."

An arrow flew out from the bow, arriving before Kent like a ghost.

It was instantaneous, something that can take anyone by surprise if their reaction speed is dull.

However, he swung his sword, and the arrow was severed. But he was forced to duck in that instance when a second arrow came right after the first.

"Excellent display of marksmanship, but I am faster than your arrow."

Kent took a step forward and slightly turned his neck, letting a third arrow move past his cheek. He felt the cold air of the arrow pass by his cheek.

However, he took a second step and closed in by several meters on the Temple Master. Seeing this, he also moved back and fired another arrow. But this time, Kent summoned his Chaos Scale Shield.

The arrow landed on it, and instead of shattering it, it was rather the tip of the arrow that broke.

Axiom, Kailan, and Kol smiled seeing this. They saw the power of the Chaos Scale Shield when they met Chaos in the void universe.

They later witnessed its might during the many battles they fought together.

So seeing it again, past memories resurfaced.

"It seems Master had made so much progress very early into his journey this time," Kol said, already comparing the Chaos then and him now.

"What do you expect? Just like us, he also has his past life memories, so it is only normal." Axiom said, watching as Kent closed the gap between him and the Temple Master.

"It is over."

Just when Kol said that, Kent took another step, and he was before the Temple Master. His hand grabbed the arrow that had formed with the bow's frame.

SIGH

To Kent's shock, the Temple Master merely sighed and then let go of the bow. He had given up already, aware that this battle was lost. He is a Core Immortal with four Immortal Qi, but that wasn't enough to stop Kent.

Of course, there was also the part where he was imprisoned inside the void for many years. He was probably weak and mentally broken, so death seemed like the easiest way out for him.

"What is your name?" Kent asked, feeling some form of sympathy for the guy. He hated the Void Beasts, but not as much as he did against the Forsaken Race.

"Bello."

"Well, Bello. It is either you die, or I do. However, I have over two dozen angels waiting for me back home, so I would have to kill you now."

He said nothing; however, he had already resolved to die. Seeing this, Kent just sighed and gently tapped on his chest. He closed his eyes, and that was that.

Kent didn't want to stab him with his sword or use any other painful way he uses to kill enemies, so he merely snuffed his soul, ending him peacefully.

"You have become soft, Master," Axiom said, flying toward Kent. Kailan and Kol followed.

"He had suffered enough thanks to you three, so I just freed him. Now I have a Void Bow."

"Yeah. If you knew what the Void Beasts are planning for your precious universe, I am sure you would have a different opinion of them," Kol said; however, Kent didn't seem to care.

"Sometimes, it is best to remind yourself that in this battle for survival, not all of us are emotionless. If I can't show simple compassion, then I might as well join the Void Beasts."

"Yeah, I hate compassion, so when they come, I will be killing them all using the most painful way possible."

Kent turned, looking dumbfounded at Kailan. "Remind me how they arrested you and dumped you in the prison in the first place."

"I killed my friend's girlfriend because she cheated on him with my bro's enemy."

"Well, I would have done the same, but the point here is, you could have tortured her and made sure her heart only had one room for your friend."

"She was the daughter of a Void Shaman. Torturing her was impossible," Kailan said with a grin, making Kent chuckle.

"I guess you did nothing wrong."

"I knew you would understand, Master."

"Whatever..." Kent turned his focus from the three Void Beasts so he could see the message that appeared after he killed the Temple Master.

[You have killed the fifth Temple Master, Bello Voidchild]

[You have received the Fifth Temple Key.]

[Congratulations, you are now the master of the Void Temple.]

[You have obtained a Soul Warrior Candidate]
