"I still cannot believe it," Solaris said softly, her heart still pounding even hours after Noah had accepted her proposal.
"Aye. Am I that heavenly? Please, you're making me embarrassed," Noah teased, and Solaris's eyes grew more and more dazed.
Did Noah just tease her? Gods, if this were a dream, may I never wake for eternity.
They sat on the floor carpeted with black flowers, Noah's back resting against the bark of an ebony tree that stretched toward the ceiling, while Solaris nestled gently between his legs, her back leaning against his torso.
The soft warmth of Noah enveloped her body in a way she had never felt before, making every thought she could possibly form dissolve like smoke, leaving her only with the chance to savor this moment.
This feeling she had dreamed of so many times. This feeling that kept her awake at night, agony coursing through her veins like blood, as she imagined Noah's wives basking in his presence while she remained alone in a mansion vast enough to house millions.
She had carved this moment into her heart and now that she had it…
…Solaris realized how deeply she had underestimated her hunger for this man, and how little she had fathomed the height at which he now stood.
"I could probably die at this moment and not regret a thing," Solaris whispered, taking Noah's soft hand and brushing her head against his palm like a cat, a peaceful smile blooming on her lips.
"Die?" Noah echoed, then chuckled. "None of my wives will die, my dear Saintess, not before I myself am dead. And I believe I need not tell you how difficult that task would be," he said with a faint smile.
"So let's just enjoy this feeling. And let me assure you, no harm shall befall you or any of you." He kissed the back of her hair softly before whispering, "I will make sure of it."
Solaris's body trembled at those words, at that act of love. Wordless, she turned her head a full hundred and eighty degrees to face him and immediately her lips met his, her tongue seeking his in a daring, feverish dance.
Noah welcomed her gladly, parting his lips so their tongues could meet in a storm of heat and saliva. His arms wrapped around her curving body, pulling her closer until her breasts pressed against his chest and her body melted into his embrace.
Between his legs, Noah's rising dragon strained hard against his pants, forming a mountain worthy of Everest itself, drawing a delighted smile from Solaris before she mounted him shamelessly, her now-drenched thighs pressing directly against the peak.
A moan of pleasure threatened to escape but was swallowed by their kiss, neither willing to break away. Solaris's hands slid to the back of Noah's head, gripping tightly, while Noah held the soft, trembling curve of her ass.
She began to move slowly, rubbing herself against his hardness, eyes closed in a trembling effort to contain her moans, yet her flushed face betrayed everything already.
Without a doubt, she wanted it. She craved it.
But neither of them wished to rush something so sacred.
It would be the first time for Solaris, and yes, it would have been romantic to do it amidst a special black garden grown from Anya's tears, a garden of destruction.
How romantic to do an act of creation inside a domain of ruin.
Thinking on it, they were both tempted to simply do the deed, and yet, slowly, almost reluctantly, they parted their lips, saliva smearing the corners of their mouths.
The kiss was voracious.
They smiled at one another instinctively. "I want to do it," Noah said, kissing Solaris's red face on the forehead, "but there is no need to rush this. We have all the time in the world to do whatever we want. Let's make it worthy."
A warmth rose inside Solaris's head and spread slowly. "I think I am obsessed with you, Noah," she whispered, her heart beating loud and hard like the thunderous stomping of furious horses.
She truly would have smiled at death if it dared to come for her soul at that moment, she might even have hugged it, were she not the woman of Noah now.
'Heheheh. I like it. Woman of Noah… heheheh.' Her mind derailed, but her smile only grew more dazzling.
Noah laughed at her words, a warm feeling settling in his chest, before giving her a playful smack on her rosy lips. "And my dear, I am obsessed too," he said, widening Solaris's smile, then…
"But it's time to make you a proper Elysiari. You are under the branch of Elizabeth's Fate Elysiari, aren't you?" he asked, earning a nod from Solaris.
Noah nodded in turn. There was Virgo to add, and Lucie, and Noelle. Lea too, but what should he do with that dog-acting woman?
Beside them, there was Emmie from Earth.
For Emmie he did not yet know if she would accept a place in his harem, in truth he doubted whether it was even a good idea.
But he could not deny that he wanted it. He wanted her back.
Call him simp. Call him weak. Noah would not blink an eye.
Emmie had sinned, and she had repented.
'And besides, she visited my mother's grave,' Noah added with a smile. That alone made her redeemable.
"I will make you Elysiari at the same time as the others," Noah said then. "You don't mind, do you?"
Solaris shook her head. "I don't."
She no longer cared for much else, as long as she was with Noah, nothing else mattered. But Noah's question set her wondering.
"How many are they?" she asked. "The new ones, like me, I mean." She rested her chin on his shoulder.
"Hm," Noah tilted his head, "three or four, depending on whether the last one accepts," he answered, caressing her silver hair.
Solaris chuckled. "Who will dare tell you no? If that happens, let me burn her in the name of Heresy!" she cried, fist raised high as if performing a holy deed.
Noah cackled, his laughter rolled through the black garden like an unbearably soft bell.
"I will definitely let you burn her, my dear," he said with a cold, cruel smirk, and Solaris mirrored him.
Soon their evil laughter echoed through the black foliage as Noah and Solaris bonded more deeply, trying to compress years into hours.
Something they achieved with disquieting ease.
…
"Shadeva, what will you do about your siblings?" Zara asked as she lay face-first on the bed, her voice still clear despite her position. "Will you let them remain imprisoned forever, or…?"
Shadeva sat before a large mirror, her reflection gazing back as she idly played with her hair.
Neko, in her cat form, was on the floor sniffing Noah's clothes and underwear shamelessly.
The two women ignored her eccentricities.
They were the only ones in the room, everyone else was occupied elsewhere.
At Zara's question, Shadeva paused for a heartbeat before resuming the gentle smoothing of her hair, then parted her lips.
"I don't know what to do," she admitted quietly. "They dared to touch our dear babies, Foxy and Premier. It's hard to forget that. Even harder to forgive."
"Besides, what do you want me to do? To them, what they did wasn't wrong. In their eyes, they saved me from certain death. And imprisoning me for millions of years in solitude… was mercy."
She chuckled humorlessly.
Neko stopped sniffing and glanced toward Shadeva.
"You can't help someone who believes they've done no wrong," Shadeva continued. "Everything you say to them will only sound like criticism in their ears."
"So," Zara said, "all the races are behind this, right? Along with the progenitor of elves, Luelle?"
Shadeva nodded. "Seems like it."
Zara smiled faintly. "Then it's fine. It's fine. We were supposed to go against them all anyway. Either they submit willingly or unwillingly."
Shadeva mirrored her smile. "But I think Noah wants to make a stop in the Spirit World first, to retrieve Meryam's soul."
"I wonder what the Spirit World is like," Shadeva mused.
"You've never been there?" Neko finally spoke up.
Shadeva shook her head. "Only souls can enter. Once you set foot there, you might as well forget about returning to the waking world."
Her smirk turned faintly sharp. "And don't be fooled, we call it the Spirit World, but it's far more than a simple world. After all, the Spirit World is a divine realm."
Zara and Neko's eyes widened.
"What?"
Shadeva's smile didn't waver.
"Yes. The Spirit World stands at the same level as the main world of any progenitor. That's exactly why we must be careful, because the will of a divine realm can kill even a World Dominator with ease. So imagine the beings who dwell within it."
Shadeva turned toward her two sisters, her gaze sharp but playful. "Still eager to go?"
A brief silence followed before, slowly, Zara and Neko grinned.
"Now even more."
