The Abominations were all now Elysiari.
The implications of this statement might elude many of its importance without knowing the sheer magnitude of what had just happened inside a little world within a man.
The Records had favorites. That was something, by now, many beings across the universe acknowledged and accepted, even if it was not a truth they did so willingly.
Being one of The Records' favorites meant many things. But the most crucial aspects of all were the protection it granted, and the overwhelming luck that followed.
Being protected meant you could afford to be daring, to take risks. Being lucky meant those acts of madness would end with you gaining strength and authority.
And thus, the loop went on and on, until nothing in the universe could threaten you anymore.
But then… what happens when all of The Records' favorites belong to the same race?
To the same family?
Then that favoritism would no longer be confined to a few, it would extend to the entire race, though diluted in measure.
Because that day, Asaemon and Aurelia did not merely accept becoming part of Noah's race, they accepted becoming part of his family.
They were his siblings now, not only in name, but in blood. And with that came, naturally, a change in their names.
They were now called Asaemon Ride Vaelgrim and Aurelia Sightless Vaelgrim.
And yet, it wasn't the end.
Noah went further by giving each of them a name.
A unique name created only for them, one that would enhance their respective talents to a whole new degree.
For Asaemon, Noah called him The Origin of Monsters, in honor of his ability to devour and obtain the powers of beasts and monsters alike, as a true and worthy devourer.
In due time, no monster would exist between heaven and earth that Asaemon had not already consumed.
For Aurelia, Noah named her The Gazer of Records. A daring name, to say the least. He had felt, at that very moment, a vast surge of his authority being used in the process, and the close scrutiny of The Records themselves.
He didn't doubt that if it had been anyone else receiving that title, The Records would have refused. But they didn't. And Aurelia became even more absurd.
Her power increased immensely, granting her the ability to gaze upon the records of all things…alive or dead, mortal or divine, concept or phenomenon.
Nothing could escape her eyes, and nothing could stop her from stealing the records she observed and making them her own.
At that moment, elated and drunk on confidence from her newfound power, Aurelia did the one thing she had always wanted to do.
She looked into the records of her brother, Noah Vaelgrim.
She didn't ask permission, she simply did it. After all, she only wanted to see his records, not steal them.
But power veiled her mind like a silken shroud, making her forget that there were things in this universe not meant to be gazed upon.
Because the instant she tried to look into Noah's records, Aurelia's eyes shut themselves by force. And in that instant, she became the very concept her name declared.
Sightless.
Not because Noah acted against her, nor because he punished her, but because her very eyes refused to see his records.
They refused to gaze upon something they were not meant to. They refused to obey, knowing that if they accepted the will of their owner, destruction would follow.
There was something most beings often forgot about Providence. The most basic aspect of Providence was to see…
…to see the future, the past, the opportunities, the dangers, causality, fate, and even Destiny.
The very concept of observation was born from it. It lay beneath Providence's authority. And Noah was the incarnation of Providence.
So nothing, no one, could truly see him if he did not wish to be seen.
That was why no being in the entire universe could find him after he made Earth his heart.
And that was why Aurelia became Sightless.
And she would have remained that way forever, had Noah not allowed her eyes to open again.
That event made both siblings realize just how deeply they had still underestimated Noah's power.
How could anyone fight someone who could make you blind, in every sense of the word, whenever he wished it?
It would be the wish of a fool to fight such a being.
And at that realization, the first thought that crossed their shameless, mischievous minds was, of course…
"I can do anything I want… and escape without anyone knowing."
They just needed their brother's help.
Asaemon was already preparing his next prank, deciding to go acquire a new monster's ability with his crimson wolf given by Noah.
Aurelia, meanwhile, was looking at Noah with strange eyes. The more time passed, the more she found the youngest to be the embodiment of everything she had ever wished for in a man.
It was as if he had been made for her.
A thought shared by billions of women, by the way.
And considering that even his own mother was his wife…
…then a simple sister might not make that much of a difference, did it?
She began acting more openly around Noah, sending him obvious signs so obvious that even Asaemon noticed and started looking at her with eyes filled with scorn.
Aurelia ignored him completely, uncaring of the opinion of an ignorant. Her intent was simple, she wanted to be embraced by Noah.
She was not the only one.
After his meetings with his siblings and after installing Evadam inside Earth, Noah found himself in the presence of a woman in his personal black garden, located within the White Castle.
Solaris had finally acted.
"My Lord," Solaris said as she lowered her head in respect toward Noah, who was wearing a simple white shirt, matching baggy pants, and soft slippers.
He was lying on a tapestry of threads woven across the sky. And anyone knowledgeable enough would have noticed that those very threads were the ones responsible for the birth and death of countless empires and kingdoms across distant worlds.
Noah was simply training.
At Solaris's voice, he opened his eyes and spared her a glance. Then, with a faint smile, he asked softly, "How long has it been, Solaris?"
Solaris slowly raised her head to look upon her god, and by The Records, she had to resist the overwhelming urge to bow again. The being before her was not one meant to be looked upon lightly.
Beautiful… ah, Solaris never realized how bland that word was until she tried to describe Noah's beauty.
But she didn't bother herself with that, such attempts would be futile.
She had more pressing matters.
And to think that this was the same man she had once wanted to kill, the one who had captured her only because of Elira…
That man had now become the God of Laeh. And rumor had it that his heart was no longer a heart at all, but a world.
It was frightening, how time moved.
It was even more frightening how different everything became through the haze of it.
And it was terrifying still to look into his white, runic-threaded eyes that clearly saw her very essence.
In front of such a being, Solaris could do only one thing to obtain what she desired.
And that was simply to ask.
"I wish to be your wife, my Lord," she said, doing her best not to fold under his gaze, forcing herself to look at him so she could prove she was worthy.
"I have never been in a relationship. And there is no doubt I will never be in one, even if you reject me, because my whole being belongs to you," she continued. "Needless to say, I will forever remain faithful to you, and do my best to be worthy of you."
She finished speaking and simply waited for his verdict.
There was nothing else to say. She had nothing else to offer him.
All she could do was ask and wait.
Noah listened to her attentively, a soft smile on his face. His smile was peaceful, not mocking.
He already knew about Solaris's desire from Elizabeth, and even without that, he already knew.
And his decision about her had already been made.
With a gentle tone, he finally said, "My wives do not call me my Lord."
Solaris blinked, confusion flashing in her eyes, until understanding began to dawn.
Her body started to tremble, overcome by emotion.
Noah continued calmly,
"I am simply Noah to all of you. And…"
He vanished and reappeared just an inch before her, taking her into his embrace.
"…welcome to the Vaelgrims."
And…
[+1] Providence uttered with a smirk on her tone.
'Don't blame me,' Noah whispered inwardly while consoling the crying Solaris.
'They all wanted this.'
