"Vivi, teach me the final skill of the reward."
"Initialising Host's request…"
"Sending the information about the skill directly to Host's brain…"

"Congratulations! You have learned a new skill: Avatar Log In
Description: Allows the Host to freely shift their consciousness between their bodies in Vyoman and Earth. Time flows asymmetrically between the two worlds—one year in one realm equals a single day in the other. While the Host's consciousness resides in one body, the unattended body enters a dormant state, remaining in deep sleep until the consciousness returns."
"Finally!!!" I exclaimed, raising my arms in the air.
"What finally?" A familiar voice came from the door.
I turned and found Aryan, Sister Aisha, Inayat, and Maa standing there.
"How are you feeling, son?" Maa asked, her voice low as she moved toward me.
"I'm feeling energetic, Maa," I said, rising to my feet.
A warm smile tugged at Maa's face as she gently touched my cheeks and murmured, "I'm proud of you, son."
"Huh?" I flinched at her sudden declaration. I had expected to be scolded for getting wounded again. Her face was undoubtedly filled with worry, but behind it all, she gazed at me with pride.
"I don't remember doing something that would make you proud of me," I replied, scratching my temple.
Maa parted her lips to say something, but suddenly Inayat bolted toward me, her tiny hands wrapping around my legs.
"Bwaaa!!! Uncle Raj, I thought you hated Inayat and wouldn't talk to Inayat like before," she cried, her puffed cheeks streaked with tears.
I picked her up in my arms, wiped her tears, and said gently, kissing her head, "Princess Inayat, Uncle Raj is your white knight. Uncle Raj will always love you."
"Sniff… sniff… You promise?" she asked, her nose red.
"Of course I promise," I chuckled, tapping her nose.
"I want to sleep with Uncle Raj tonight," she declared aggressively, wrapping her tiny arms around my neck.
"Uncle Raj needs to rest, Inayat," Sister Aisha said, stepping in.
She tried to take Inayat from my arms, but Inayat only held me tighter, refusing to let go.
"It's fine, Sister Aisha," I said, brushing my hand over Inayat's head. "My injuries are healed."
She let out a sigh and gave up. "Brother Raj, you have spoiled her too much."
Her sharp gaze turned to Inayat as she continued, lightly spanking her, "And you, little brat. Don't bother Uncle Raj too much."
"Ack!" Inayat whimpered, her hands still tightly locked around my arms, afraid her mother might take her away.
"Little shit, you've become quite famous," Aryan finally spoke up, a proud smirk tugging at his face as he folded his arms.
"Is it because of the gate?" I sighed, facepalming myself.
"Yeah, something like that," he replied. "It won't be fun if I tell you. Check your phone later."
For the next half hour, my family stayed with me, sharing small talks and light laughter. Strangely, none of them asked about what had happened inside the gate.
Surely, they didn't want me to relive anything traumatic and instead wanted me to focus solely on recovery.
Inayat had already fallen asleep in my arms when it was time for them to leave.
Sister Aisha gently picked her up, making sure she wouldn't wake, and left me alone in the room to get some rest.
After they left, I grabbed my phone to check the time. It was already seven in the evening of the day following my entry into the gate.
"I was sleeping for over eighteen hours?" I gasped.
I scrolled through my phone, curious about what Aryan had meant by being famous.
A chill ran down my spine, and goosebumps covered my skin as I realised what he meant.
The entire internet was flooded with news about the Black Gate. National and international channels were all talking about the same damn thing. But what shocked me most was that the center of the discussion was none other than me.
"Another Blood Demon emerged!"
"Raj Singh—claimed to be an E-Rank Awakener—soloed a Black Gate of C-Rank difficulty."
"India blessed with another potential S-Rank Awakener."
Countless articles about me had been uploaded, but one stood out among the rest:
"Watch the exclusive video of the remnants of the battle between Raj and troll monsters."
"Huh? When did they record a video?" I murmured, raising an eyebrow as I clicked on the title.
The article led to a YouTube video with over 100 million views just twelve hours after being uploaded.
"That's a crazy amount of views," I gasped.
The video began in a first-person POV outside a grey-colored gate on Earth.
The cameraman slowly moved forward, entering the gate.
Inside, the camera panned across a large hall, showing censored corpses of trolls, broken walls, shattered ground, and the humongous body of Grendel lying on the stairs.
The camera slowly moved upward, revealing me sitting on Grendel's throne—my face hidden behind strands of hair, one hand resting on a rusty katana.
"Holy shit!" the cameraman gasped, his voice echoing as the camera zoomed in on my bloodied face, which wore a sickening, demonic smile.
"Whoah! Who's that monster!?" I gasped, refusing to identify myself.
The video showed me walking down the stairs with Aryan's help, followed by the revelation that I had defeated the Boss Monster alone.
It continued as the stone wall was destroyed, revealing a path forward.
The entire path was censored due to countless troll corpses scattered across the floor.
"Oh God! How did a group of two CCC-Rank Awakeners and a bunch of freshers kill this many trolls?" an officer beside the cameraman asked.
"I have no idea. Even I don't have the confidence that all of us together could kill this many trolls."
After reaching the junction, the video fast-forwarded two minutes to the dead end where Payal and the rest of the group were resting.
Their bodies carried numerous injuries, each one a testament to the long battle they had endured.
The officers quickly rescued the team, providing them with first aid.
"You are incredible, Instructor Ashish and Instructor Payal," an officer said. "Not only did you protect all the students, you also killed so many monsters here."
Releasing a saddened sigh, Instructor Ashish replied, "You are mistaken, officer. It's shameful to admit, but we weren't the ones who slayed these monsters."
"Wh-what do you mean?"
"They were all single-handedly dealt with by Mr. Raj. He is the reason we are all still alive."
