Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience

Chapter 1: Long-Lost Warmth and Comfort

The dawn was peeking through, and the gentle sunlight, like a golden veil, silently passed through the clean glass window and spilled into the bedroom of Lynch's courtyard at the Starry Sky Magic Academy.

The light danced on Lynch's face, bringing a warm sensation. His eyelids fluttered slightly, and he slowly opened them, gazing at the familiar ceiling with a hint of confusion. Subsequently, a long-awaited sense of peace enveloped his entire being.

Outside the window, the faint chirping of young apprentices and the rhythmic recitation of spells intertwined to form a lively morning symphony. Though the sounds of people were woven into the air, they only accentuated the unique tranquility and harmony of the small courtyard.

"Ha-choo!~"

Lynch comfortably stretched his limbs, feeling his whole body relax and couldn't help sighing in contentment, "It's so comfortable sleeping in my own bed…"

In that peculiar place of the Lost Tower, where even portable witchcraft couldn't be used, he had spent years eating quickly and sleeping in the open air, nerves constantly on edge, having not truly relaxed into a deep sleep like this for a long time. This sleep was extraordinarily deep and long.

Getting up, dressing neatly, Lynch opened the bedroom door.

The Elf Girl Naliti, who had been waiting outside, immediately walked over gracefully at the sound. She was still wearing the same simple yet elegant maid's dress. Upon seeing Lynch, she quickly bowed and greeted him with a soft voice, "My lord, you're awake. I'll go prepare breakfast for you now."

Lynch nodded gently, "Thank you, Naliti."

Strolling down to the living room, he saw Little Annie squatting in front of the soft sofa. The tea table before her was filled with various cute little toys—mini teacups, small combs, and intricately stitched poofy dress-up skirts for dolls.

And poor Frankenstein, at this moment assigned yet another "important task," had been turned back to doll size and was being carefully dressed by Annie in an outrageously mismatched pink lace hem dress.

This giant, meticulously assembled by Lynch with various alchemy materials based on ancient legends, was being forced into such a girlish outfit. Its lifelessly stiff expression contrasted humorously with the pink dress, forming a comically strong contrast.

With the simple thoughts it possessed after being infused with a soul, it was clearly quite speechless about this kind of "torture." As soon as it saw Lynch come down, its button-made eyes immediately cast a plaintive look full of plea for help.

To which, Lynch naturally—

ignored it without the slightest hesitation! He even found it amusing, his lips curling upward.

Annie noticed Lynch and immediately lifted her little face, calling out crisply, "Mentor!"

Lynch walked over and casually picked up a small, exquisite piece of pastry from the tea tray, popping it into his mouth. As he chewed, he asked with a smile, "Playing house?"

Annie nodded vigorously and warmly invited, "Mentor, do you want to join in? You can dress up Mr. Frankenstein even prettier!"

Lynch chuckled and gently flicked her smooth forehead with a finger, feigning seriousness as he put on a stern expression, "Little girl, you can't just think about playing all day long. Have you been practicing the magic analysis topic I assigned you earlier?"

Annie immediately puffed out her small chest, a hint of pride in her voice, "Of course I have!"

With that, she extended her white, tender little hand, palm facing up, her thoughts lightly moving. Suddenly, an orange-red flame "poofed" into appearance, bouncing steadily above her palm.

It seemed just a mere basic Fireball Technique prototype, yet Lynch keenly captured from within the center of the jumping flames a trace of energy fluctuation at the Secret Skill Level, which was unlike any ordinary trick, more lively and contained!

A flicker of genuine surprise crossed Lynch's eyes, and he couldn't help asking, "Have you… already touched the threshold of the secret skill?"

Annie shook her head, answering honestly, "I haven't officially advanced yet, but…"

She smiled a bit shyly, "I'm already at the late stage of a High-level Wizard, and lately, during meditation, it seems… I can sense something a little different."

Lynch was indeed a bit amazed internally.

But then, thinking that although Annie still appeared as a charming little girl, from the time he started nurturing her in the Jade Land over a hundred years had passed.

During this period, the resources he devoted to Annie were vast. After coming to Fran, she even had personal care from Dean Abbas, with the best mentors in the academy arranged for her systematic guidance. Coupled with her exceptional elemental affinity talent, achieving today's accomplishments seemed a natural course.

Thinking this, a gratifying smile appeared on Lynch's face as he rubbed Annie's soft hair, sincerely praising her, "Very well done, Annie. Your progress is even faster than your mentor anticipated."

But he gently reminded, "However, don't get too proud. The Wizard's Road is long and requires continued effort, understand?"

"Got it, Mentor!" Annie responded obediently, her face radiant with the happiness of being recognized.

At this moment, Naliti came over, softly reporting, "Master, Miss Annie, breakfast is ready."

"Let's go, we'll eat," Lynch joyfully took Annie's little hand and called Frankenstein, still playing the "doll," to join them in heading to the dining room.

In the spacious and bright dining room, the long table was laden with a sumptuous breakfast meticulously prepared by Naliti: perfectly toasted bread exuding a wheaty aroma, warm milk swirling with white steam, and an assortment of fresh fruits along with the delicate pastries the Elves were skilled at making.

Sunlight streamed through the windows, adding a layer of warm golden edges to everything.

During the meal, Annie chattered about amusing incidents at the academy while Lynch was away, with Naliti smilingly adding bits here and there, and Lynch leisurely enjoyed the food, occasionally interjecting a word or two. The room echoed with laughter and conversation, filled with the warmth and ease of ordinary family life, thoroughly isolating the bloodshed and struggle of the Lost Tower in another world.

Listening to those details full of life, Lynch couldn't help but feel a sense of slight unreality. He had spent thirty years within the crisis-filled Lost Tower.

Thirty years… For ordinary people in the mundane world, this is nearly a lifetime, enough for a newborn to grow into the backbone of their family, to see a young person in their prime enter the twilight of their life, witnessing much change.

However, for these Wizards seeking Truth, whose Life Level had already transcended, thirty years felt more like an extended retreat, as if it had just happened yesterday.

A Wizard's life scale and time dimension have long exceeded that of mortals. A single deep meditation or assimilation of knowledge might take an ordinary person's lifetime. This allowed them to face the passage of time with more composure, yet often creates a subtle sense of detachment from the world of ordinary people.

A warm and pleasant breakfast came to a close in a relaxed atmosphere. His stomach filled with comforting food, his ears echoing friendly laughter, Lynch felt that the murderous aura and dust-laden air he carried from the Lost Tower had seemingly been subtly washed away by this mundane firewood, returning his mind to tranquility and fulfillment.

However,

relaxation was but a brief respite. For a true Wizard, the path forward never stops.

"Alright, break time is over," Lynch mentally noted as he wiped his mouth with a napkin.

Up next, it was time to get down to business!

The vast and precious knowledge fragments obtained from the Lost Tower, especially the initial understanding and comprehension of the rules, required substantial time to organize, digest, and absorb, integrating them into his existing knowledge system. This was no overnight task.

Pondering this, Lynch stood up under the watchful eyes of Annie and Naliti, without any hesitation, he walked directly toward the most familiar laboratory deep within the courtyard, filled with various precise instruments and Magic Array diagrams.

The heavy doors slowly closed behind him, completely isolating the external clamor and warmth. The familiar special air, mixed with various alchemy materials, magic potions, and ancient sheepskin books, wafted towards him. Lynch's gaze instantly became focused and sharp, all distractions cast aside.

His Wizard's Road once again lay before him. Without looking back, he threw himself into the next phase of exploration and ascent.
