Vice reappeared in a lush canopy of gleaming leaves, he looked at every tree around him their roots were filled with burrows beneath them, a few mice heads popped out and looked at him

'I can us them they know this place than the rat' he thought as he looked at the familiar brown mouse running through the leaves with smiling "Sir I found them all"

He crouched down veins pulsing "did you tell every mouse in the canyon?" He spoke in a calmed tone

"No sir" the mouse looked back "I told everyone in the continent"

"What do you mean by that?" Vice forced a smile as his veins bulged 'how do even do that?'

"I told my brothers they told their friends and their friends told their other friends" it smile widen as it looked up "before I knew it everyone in the desert was in the canyon, some said the word had reached the forest"

"What did you say?" Vice leaned closer

"I told every mouse on the continent to look for a green portal sir" Vice hands balled into fists

'Im already having a hard time managing a few rats' he touched his forehead 'now I have to manage every mouse on continent'

'No I moved the dungeon portal they won't find it' he closed his eyes as he rubbed his forehead then

"Hey Theo how have you been?" A mouse spoke

"Uncle I'm doing great, but what took you so long?" The brown mouse spoke

"After those rat bastards entered the portal, it vanished but don't worry we found it near the forest" Vice eyes widen "anyway you seem to be busy I'll talk to you later"

'They found the portal' Vice looked at the other mouse as it walked into a burrow 'what did it mean rat bastard'

"Are you friends with the rats?" A leaf fell on his head as he looked down at Theo

"No, we are only working with each other because Gordon threatened to kill us all if we attack the rats then Valeria forced us to work with them" Theo spoke

Vice narrowed his eyes as he looked at Theo tiny body "what do mean attack the rats?"

"We usually swam any rat we see and we always make sure they can't have children" as Theo spoke Vice leaned close

"How do you make sure they can't have" Vice spoke

"We kill every male rat we can find that why the are so few rats on the continent" Vice smiled as he listed to Theo

"Can you kill a goblin?" Vice spoke

"Yes, but only when its hurt sir" Theo looked down

"Why?" Vice spoke as sunlight flashed through the leaves

"Its hard to kill it when it's not hurt" Theo spoke

'They could make a better army than the rats' Vice shock his head 'I'm rushing to conclusions'

'I can use this as a chance to train them' Vice stood up "Gordon won't get involved if you attack the rats"

Theo's eyes widen "and you?"

"I don't care what happens" he walked over Theo, the leaves crunched at every step he took on the uneven ground

Theo watched Vice's figure vanish into the trees "I have to tell my brother" he ran to a burrow under a root

"Swosh" Gordon swang his sword

"Your feet a glued to the ground" the ogre walked around Gordon "your strikes are sloppy"

Vice walked to the Uza and the ogre, who were leaning against the dirt wall filled vines chatting

"Hey lets go" he whisped to the ogre

It nodded and followed him out of the cave

"You can put your hand on my shoulder" he pressed on the temporary leave

"What happened here?" it spoke as it looked at the stumps and black soil

Vice smiled "a human did this" it eyes widen

"What did you say?" It turned to Vice

"A human did this" it stared at Vice as he spoke then walked to the slope

"Where are going?" Vice looked at it as it walked away

"Im going to the city to tell the captain" it did not bother to looked back

Vice walked behind it "you don't have to follow me" it spoke as the dry wind blew past them

"I know but how am I going to explain you absence to your boss" Vice spoke

It kept walked through the sand as the blue sun beat down, a heat wave could be seen rising off a stone as the walked past the withered tree's

"What are going to tell you captain?" Vice spoke as the birds cawed and squawked

"That the humans are on the continent" it wiped away the sweat as it squinted and looked at the open sky

'The more I try to understand this dungeon the less I understand' Vice walked past the cacti "why don't you fight with them?"

"I wish we could but the is no S-Rank on the continent" it stopped and took out car keys then pressed them

"Do you know where the slimes live?" Vice walked past the ogre

"If your thinking about going to their dungeon that a suicide mission" Vice turned to the ogre

"Why would it be dangerous to hunt a slime?" He looked at the ogre

It sighed "if it was a slime born after their world was destroyed the would be no problem but the boss of that dungeon was born when slimes had a world"

Vice narrowed his eyes 'what does he mean had world?'

He sat on the sand 'if those stories are real then I'm in trouble but lets test him'

"What does your history say about human?" he looked up at the ogre

It sat down "I was taught that humans were primitive creatures that did not know about the existence of mana, we went to their world to teach them about it and in exchange they offered to work for us.."

Vice squinted his eyes 'what an interesting way to say you invaded someone'

"Everything was well until human understand mana, they instantly broke their part of the deal and attacked my ancestors.." it clenched its hands "despite this, our ancestors felt pity on them and left their world peacefully"

'This might be bad in those stories every world has a g..'

"But those humans are ungrateful, we enlightenment them with mana then they decide to attack us" it veins engorged "but this time the will be no mercy" it voice deepened

It grinned "with the help of the beast kin we will kill those ungrateful humans and those arrogant elves"

Vice eyes bulged "with help of what? you do what? To who?"

"Those elve have always hated us because we sheltered the dwarves after they destroyed their world.." it rabbled with a stupid grin on its face "..in exchange for sheltering the dwarves, they have given us their technology and you will see it all.."

'Dwarves where never mentioned in the stories' Vice leaned closer to the rabble

"As thanks for helping us, Utal will bring you with us to th.." He stopped speaking as he at the dust cloud behind Vice
