"Im a knight" Vice forced a smile "Utal helped me get my class" Gordon smiled

'What would happen if he finds out about my involvement in the rat incident' he stepped back 'no' he clenched his jaw 'he'll never find out'

"Gordon why didn't you tell me that mice hate the rats?" the light behind him dimmed

"It's wasn't that important"Gordon spoke

Vice shock his head "Gordon everyone almost died because you didn't tell me" he soften his voice to sound empathetic

"What do you mean" Gordon narrowed his eyes

Vice looked at the dirt floor "every rat is dead" Gordon eyes widen "but luckily I was able to tell the mice to stop and saved the ratman"

"Every rat?" Gordon grip on the sword loosened

"Yes" Vice stepped closer "but it's not your fault and don't blame the mice they were just doing what they had to do to survive" he patted Gordon on the shoulder but Gordon stared blankly at the ground

"You should go and check on the others" Gordon snapped back to reality

"Freya" he ran past Vice

'I doubt those mice mentioned me while killing the others' he walked to the darker part of the cave 'I need to level up or I'll have to live in fear of the ratman'

Vice sat down 'I'll hunt the goblins in the forest and the wanderers in the desert' he sighed 'then I have to take over the continent but if I do that I'll have to deal with those slimes'

He looked at the dungeon map 'for now I should focus on leveling up, I'll deal with the rest when my level is decent' he walked to the exit

'Gordon has already reached the rest' he stepped out of the cave as the sun's body lay half hidden 'I can't threatened them this time, they'll know I've become weak'

The pebbles clattered down the slope as he climbed down 'Gordon will train the ratman, I'll focus on training the mice'

The leaves ruslte under the cover of darkness as Vice walked past the tree's 'but how do I stop the ratman from wanting revenge against the mice' he sighed as he looked at the ratman standing on the grass

"Where were you when everyone was fighting for their lives" Scarlet raised her voice as she looked at Gordon, who tightened his jaw staring at the ground

"Enough" they turned to the silhouette approuching them "Gordon had his own affairs to deal with, it's not his fault your all weak"

"Are his affairs more important than our lives and w.." Scarlet stepped back as Vice glared at her

Vice sat down "what happened is a tragedy that should have never happened but I've talked to the mice and they promised to never attack you"

Valeria glared him "are you not going to deal with them?"

"If your asking that I'm going to kill them then the answer is no" Valeria bit her lip "the mice will live in the forest as thanks for helping you survive in the desert when you arrived"

"I expect you not to attack them and find a way to live with each other" everyone glared at him "if you had listened to me in the past and trained this would have never happened" Jones, Lucas and Freya looked down while Valeria and Scarlet looked at Vice while balling their hands

"You'll need the mice in the future to survive, whether you like it or not you have to learn how to live with them" Vice stood up

"And if we don't want to?" Valeria spoke in a sharp tone as she looked up at Vice

He narrowed his eyes as he looked down on her "then you'll all die and you'll have no one to blame but yourselves" a purple crystal that reached his waist appeared next to him

He looked at Gordon "tell the mice to bring half of their force here" Gordon grip on his sword tightened, Vice looked at Gordon hand that was balled into a fist and shaking

"remember Gordon everyone could die if the mice are not here" Gordon walked to the outer region with his veins pulsing

The cool breeze hit Vice as he changed the level restriction on the middle region, everyone eyes widen as the mana in the atmosphere lessened while Valeria narrowed her eyes at Vice

"You will be facing the goblins in the forest with the mice" he crouched down "the mice will be the scouts and with Gordon there non of you should die"

"And when will you turn us to the same thing as Gordon" everyone looked at him as Valeria spoke

Vice didn't bother to look at her as stared to the outer region

"Your acting really strange" Vice narrowed his eyes as he looked at Valeria "when Scarlet yelled at you" she smiled "you didn't do that pressure thing" she stepped closer

'Damn bitch' Vice moved his right hand to his back then his dagger appeared "and when I questioned you, nothing happened" her smile widen as Jones and Lucas stood behind her "and now your even tolerating me disrespecting you" her muscle tightened as Vice grip on the dagger tightened

He forced a smile "I was amused by your arrogance that why I watched you rant like a lunatic"

Jones and Lucas stepped to his sides then Scarlet and Freya backed Valerian everyone baring their teeth at Vice as the leaves stop rustling leaving behind an eerie silence

"I wonder if you'll feel amused when we rip out your throat" as they stepped closer Vice fake smile vanished

"Whats going on?" They heard Gordons voice, everyone turned to Gordon but Vice narrowed eyes stayed focus on Valeria as he stood up 'I have to deal with her soon'

"Theo pick half of the mice here while the other half leaves with Gordon's group" Vice looked at the mice

"Yes sir" Theo ran into the swam of mice and sorted them out

Vice turned to Gordon "you'll go into the forest with them and kill any goblin you see" he looked up the clear dark sky "your goal is to reach level 250" Gordon nodded

"Sir I'm done" Vice looked down at the mice that were divided into two groups with theo in front of the group on the left

"Theo your group will be training with me, while the others train with Gordon" the mice in the right group frowned and looked down as Gordon looked at them with cold eyes

"lets begin" the ratman walked to the crystal

After a while everyone stood next to the pit with a green portal while the blue sun stood high in the sky

"Theo head to the desert with everyone and look for wanderers" Theo nodded and ran off with the mice to the desert, Vice looked back at the figures that were slowly vanishing into the tree's

'I need to get stronger' Vice hands balled into fists 'before they find out about my stats'
