Chapter 424: Remote Ressurection

"You guys can head back. Get some rest and come around to the Guild tomorrow for your bonuses. Good job, everyone. Especially you, Francis. You did an excellent job as the leader."

The group all thanked Jason when they heard that they would be getting bonuses, and Francis brightened up and bowed his head to Jason when Jason told him he had done a good job as the leader. The superhumans vanished through the shadows with their Legion subordinates. Jason then called out his other subordinates and told them to go around and collect all the magical crystals from the monsters before he stretched his hand out and spoke calmly.

"Resurrect."

DOON!

Jason's mana rushed out towards the various Diamond Bears and latched onto their souls before dragging them out of their bodies!

Jason scoffed in mild irritation when he saw how small the percentage increase to his stats was! What the hell!? Jason knew that he was already far stronger than the monsters here, and he shouldn't expect them to give him a lot of stats, so he had already expected it to be low, but this was abysmal! Having a 0.0001 increase was almost the same as not having any increase at all! He didn't even see anything change on his system panel! Jason let out an amused sigh, and he shook his head calmly. Jason knew that he could have gained more monsters from this Gate if he had sent in his subordinates alone. The guild members who came here with the Legion Subordinates had killed some of the bears, so Jason could only resurrect the 88 bears that his subordinates had killed. Jason was just thankful that his subordinate was the one who killed the Boss. He would have been pissed if he didn't at least get the boss from this Gate! Jason turned to look at all the monsters that had torn themselves out of their bodies. The Diamond Bears were probably the best-looking Magical Beasts that Jason had ever seen! They had a strange silver-textured skin that looked like it had been cut from raw diamonds, and the boss had nails that were sharp enough to tear through anything below S Rank! But other than that, they had the same body structure and mannerisms as any regular bear. Jason watched as the boss came close to him and sat back on its ass like an old man after a long day's work, and the bear let out a low rumbling growl as it playfully began to touch Jason's head to grab his attention!

The bear was almost four meters tall, so its paw was far larger than Jason's head, and Jason raised a brow at the bear before Jason waved its paw away and told the bear not to bother him. The bear whined in a low voice as it tried getting Jason's attention again, and Jason finally sighed calmly before moving close to it and rubbing his hand over the bear's stomach! The bear brought out its tongue as it enjoyed the petting, and Jason let out a small 'woah!' when the bear suddenly brought its entire weight down on him in a massive bear hug.

"Alright, big guy, that's enough of that. I'm busy right now, so why don't you take the others and go grab the crystals."

Jason chuckled as he pushed the giant bear off him, and the bear fell back comically before it rolled over and finally got to its feet. The bear turned to Jason and licked his face, and Jason just absentmindedly pet it on the side while looking through his system tab, and the bear finally turned to its subordinates and roared out an order for them to start grabbing the crystals. Jason watched as all the workers and guard bears followed the boss' order perfectly. Jason had been surprised that they didn't come over to him when he was playing with the boss, but Jason just assumed that they still respected the boss' superiority, and they maintained their normal hierarchy even though they were now his subordinates. That was a good thing for Jason because he wasn't really interested in dealing with close to a hundred clingy bears right now!

Jason looked over the tabs on the bears' heads, and he read through their stats as they worked.

Jason read through all the tabs quickly, and he hummed in mild surprise when he saw the new information box that was now present in all the tabs. The [Independent Action] information box showed the rank of each of the subordinates, and Jason couldn't deny that it was a very useful change. The Independent Action told Jason how capable each of his subordinates would be, so now Jason could use this information to create teams or attack groups that would be able to perform better as a unit. Jason knew that although the strength of a subordinate played a big role in how high their Independent Action tab was, that wasn't always the case. For example, the Adamantine Ant Queen, Raya, was far stronger than the Phantom Assassin leader, Alpha, but Alpha had a higher Independent Action ranking than Raya because of Alpha's higher intelligence. So if Jason wanted to create an attack force with those two in it, then he would probably put Alpha as the leader of the attack team since Alpha would be capable of coming up with alternative plans and handling unexpected situations faster and easier than Raya.

Jason nodded as he finished looking through all the subordinate tabs, and he finally turned his attention towards another tab that had opened in his system.
