Jason's gaze moved down to the skills that he got from the system, and he realized that most of them were skills that he had used to lock out the [Land of Lost Shadows]. Jason used [Qi Manipulation] and [Qi Amplification] when he was showing Esdeath that he had really found his Qi. He used the [Meditation] skill and [Full-Body Analysis] to dive into his body, and that was what allowed him to cut off the meridian in his brain. But the skill and title that he got as a reward for the hidden mission were also really important.

[Mental Fortitude: This is an innate passive skill that will allow the user to withstand internal mental attacks that cannot be detected or eliminated by the system. At the current level, the user will be capable of resisting any mental attacks below Titan Rank.]

[False Lord of Lost Shadows: This title marks the user as the wielder of a majority of the Attributes belonging to the Arcane Art [Lord of Lost Shadows]. This title will grant the user greater control over the shadows as well as an increased sensitivity for the last remaining attribute that would allow the user to become the True Lord of Lost Shadows.]

Jason felt a small huff escape him when he saw the skill that he got! If Jason had gotten this skill earlier, then he would've been able to shrug off the mental attack from the [Land of Lost Shadows] without needing to go through all that stress! Jason was just thankful that the system didn't say that cutting the meridian had done any serious damage. There had been a sharp pain that Jason felt after cutting off the meridian, and Jason really thought that he had made a mistake in choosing which one to cut, but thankfully, the pain had just been something normal, and he could still reattach it later. But the one tab in all these notifications that really drew Jason's attention was where the system told him that it had created a separation between his Qi and his Mana. Jason felt his eye narrow in slight irritation when he saw this, and he realized that he didn't like this at all. The system said that both Qi and mana were high-level power sources, so Jason knew that using them together was going to make him more powerful. But if Jason could only use one or the other at any given time, then that would make it difficult for him to create any attacks or defenses that utilized both of them at the same time.

'Maybe there's a way to combine them that I just haven't figured out, or if there isn't, there should at least be a way to use both of them without spreading the negative energy around my body. I'll look into this once I settle down.'

Jason knew that he didn't have the privilege of overlooking any chance of getting stronger—not with the sort of monsters he had heard were out there in the Primordial Expanse. According to the system, even the weakest of the Titan Rank monsters would be strong enough to put up a good fight against or even kill Jason at his current level, and that wasn't something that Jason was happy about at all! Jason would've liked to get enough power to at least break into the Titan Rank by the time he had to go for the hearing in front of the Council of Nine and One, but he didn't know if it was even possible.

Jason finally turned to the last tab, where he was shown his current internal and external Qi ranking as well as his cultivation technique and element. Jason raised a brow when he saw that even though his internal Qi Ranking was only at the level of an Awakened Disciple, his external Qi Ranking was already at the level of a Master. How the hell was that possible? The system immediately came in with an explanation.

[The user's Qi Rankings are a depiction of how powerful the user's internal soul or external physical body can become with the addition of Qi. The internal Qi is only at the level of an Awakened Disciple because it has never been trained by the user. It is still weak, and therefore, it cannot withstand much tension before the user suffers Qi damage. But the user's external body has been greatly strengthened by his use of mana and his training over the years. Therefore, the user is capable of sending a lot more Qi into his physical body in order to improve its durability.]

'Oh, that makes sense.'

Jason understood the message once he read through it, and the system came back with another message and told him that the only way he could improve his internal Qi rapidly was by picking up and practicing a cultivation technique. Cultivation Techniques were created to strengthen the spirit and the body, so it will allow Jason to bring his internal Qi up to the level of what his external Qi is currently at and then grow them both together. Jason hummed, and he closed down the message. Jason knew that he would have to ask Esdeath about this later, and he just scoffed as he remembered what Esdeath told him a long time ago. Apparently, Esdeath had practiced some bullshit 'Celibacy' technique, and that was what allowed him to get so strong.

'If that bastard tells me anything about cultivating that celibacy technique, I'm going to send him back to the River of the Afterlife.'

Jason's eyes narrowed in irritation, and inside Jason's Alternate Dimension, Esdeath felt a shiver go down his spine! Jason decided to also ask Esdeath about the Qi element tab sometime later, and he closed down the system tabs as he finally reached down to where his sisters were huddled together. There were some phantoms surrounding the two girls and preventing anyone from getting closer, and Jason walked past them when his feet touched the ground! Both girls perked up when they felt an intense feeling coming from the side, and they turned sharply to look at Jason! Janet's eyes widened when she finally got to see what sort of monster her brother really was for the first time.

'What is that around Jason's body? Is that his mana? It's immeasurable.'

Even though Janet had only just become a superhuman, she had already felt hundreds of different mana signatures in these few minutes alone, so she was at least capable of gauging just how powerful someone was by the sheer mana they were letting off. But what surrounded Jason right now wasn't something she could even put into words. It was as if Jason was mana itself! He had so much mana that Janet felt like she was suffocating! No wonder the entire superhuman population was so cautious of Jason! No regular human would be able to see just how powerful Jason was, but any superhumans that could sense mana would obviously be terrified of Jason! For the first time in her life, Janet was genuinely afraid of her brother.

"Oni-chan!!"

But even though Janet had been too afraid to even move, Maya was a completely different story! Maya suddenly shouted as she bolted off the ground and ran toward her brother, and Jason smiled excitedly as he stretched out his hand! Maya barreled into his waist like a rocket, and Jason easily caught her with a small laugh! Maya looked up at Jason and immediately went off like a speeding record!

"Oni-chan, I was so scared! I was sleeping and all of a sudden, the entire car was flipping over! Something even hit me on the head. Look, it was right here. I have a bump from it. Oh, it's healed already! I had a bump, though, I swear! But I was so worried I wouldn't be able to see you again! I kept calling out to you when I was injured, and you appeared just like my knight in shining armor! Even though that stone you gave me was really yucky! It made me feel like it was swallowing cement! Is that normal? It doesn't matter, though, you're my knight in shining armor! This means you have to kiss me now! You have to!"
