Ulysis put her hand to the side, and a glass of juice vanished from the tray of a servant standing a few feet away and appeared in Ulysis' hand. She calmly drank from the cup and smiled while leaning back. There hadn't been any burst of mana or magic to show that Ulysis used a gift, and all the servants in the chamber swallowed fearfully when they saw what she had done.

In truth, Ulysis' power didn't come from magic or mana. Although she was a powerful mage with enough strength to be regarded as at least SSS-Rank, her main ability came from the Arcane Art [Ruler of Reality]. Like Jason, she had inherited her Arcane Arts after killing the previous wielders. But unlike Jason, who hadn't yet completed his Arcane Art, Ulysis had already gathered all three Attributes of Reality and was currently a full-fledged [Apostle of Reality].

An "Apostle" is a title gained by an Arcane Art wielder after they gather all three Attributes of any Arcane Art and become the true wielder of that Art. As an Apostle, Ulysis had the ability to use three powerful aspects of reality without needing to consume any mana to activate them.

The first aspect was known as [Reality Distortion]. This Attribute allowed Ulysis to teleport any object across any length of space. She could make any structure or object change locations in reality, and the only limitation she had was that, other than herself, Ulysis couldn't move any other living things across reality. This was how she made the drink appear in her hand so quickly.

The second Attribute was known as [Reality Shaping]. This Attribute allowed Ulysis to control and change the shape of matter all around her from one form to another. With this Attribute, Ulysis had the ability to convert rocks into diamonds or air into stone. She could change glass into water and capture the wind to make it into a sword! The only limitation here, once again, was the fact that Ulysis could not manipulate anything that had life or energy inside of them. So that meant she didn't have the ability to create precious stones like Mana Stones or Dragonstone, and she couldn't create living beings either!

The third and most powerful Attribute of the [Ruler of Reality] Arcane Art was the special ability known as [Reality Domination]. This was the ability that made Ulysis one of the most feared of all the Arcane Art-wielding Apostles. With this ability, Ulysis had the freedom to rewrite reality in a certain region and make it so that everyone else in the Primordial Domain would believe that her version of reality was the truth and that the previous reality had never existed! That was the reason why Ulysis had managed to enslave this world for so long without ever being confronted by the Council of Nine and One or the ruler of this Primordial Domain! Ulysis had created a Reality Bubble and distorted reality for everyone living outside the Bubble. So those inside the bubble would see the truth that she had enslaved every Coryl in Zeryln, but those outside the bubble believed that the world of Zeryln was still moving along as normal! It was a skill powerful enough to fool even the greatest sensors out there, and since the Arcane Art didn't require any mana, it could be sustained indefinitely! There was no known way to break free from such a reality, so Ulysis was free to do whatever she wanted until she got bored and moved on to a new world.

And from the look of irritation on Ulysis' face, it was obvious that she was already starting to grow bored with this world.

Ulysis leaned back in her seat and pressed her feet against the face of the mouse-like man in front of her, and the man's entire body convulsed in pure ecstasy as he took in another long breath of his mistress' feet! The man felt the incredible urge to lick Ulysis' feet clean with his tongue, but he knew that doing that would make Ulysis tear out a part of his body like the last time, so he had to be content with smell and touch alone!

Ulysis leaned her head to one side and she was about to speak up, but she suddenly felt another force poking against her senses, and she frowned in slight irritation before sighing as she opened her reality to allow someone else to enter.

Tear!

A dimensional tear opened in the air above Ulysis, and she watched with a deep scowl as a woman slowly floated out from within. Calling this woman "beautiful" would be an insult to just how stunning she was. She was a radiant figure of purity that seemed to bring light to any place she graced with her presence. She had a small, innocent face with full red lips. Her ears were slightly pointy, and her eyes were always closed. Her hair was made up of hundreds of different colors and fell down past her feet, flowing beneath her like a cape. She wore a simple black tunic that covered her modest build, and her bare feet were covered in some mud that showed she was not afraid to step in the dirt.

This woman was Enkidu, the Arcane Apostle, wielding the Art [Sovereign of Nature], and the only Apostle capable of countering and erasing Ulysis' abilities without any effort at all.

Ulysis hated the bitch.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Didn't we agree that the Apostles wouldn't interfere with each other until the appointed time?"

Ulysis spoke with a scowl on her face, and Enkidu smiled down at Ulysis kindly. Ulysis felt her eye twitch as she wondered how difficult it would be to create a sword from the wind blowing past Enkidu and use it to stab her in the fucking eye. But Ulysis knew that the wind also obeyed Enkidu, and Enkidu would feel any changes before Ulysis' attack would land, so Ulysis held back from such petty actions.

Enkidu spoke up in a kind voice.

"Well, we did agree not to interfere in whatever you do, Ulysis. And I am not here to reprimand you, regardless of how… crass your method of seeking entertainment is. Instead, I came to inquire about the Apostle of Shadows. The Court of Apostles wishes to know how your plan is progressing?"

Ulysis clicked her tongue as she felt her servant kiss her feet again, and she kicked the man away in irritation before crossing her legs and speaking in a condescending tone.

"Maybe if the Court is so desperate for information, they should come out here and get it themselves. Oh right, I forgot—you're all too afraid of the Council of Nine and One, aren't you? You're scared that the Council will ruin your perfect plans, so you cower and hide from them while depending on me to put my neck on the line and do your dirty work."

A deep tension filled the air between the two women, and Ulysis smiled as she saw the smile on Enkidu's face twitch slightly. Ulysis knew that she was the only one in the Court of Apostles who could move freely without ever drawing the attention of the Council of Nine and One, and that was why they had given her the mission of creating the Apostle of Shadows and bringing them over to their side. But Ulysis wasn't going to just allow them to order her around! She wasn't working for them—she was doing them a fucking favor due to their incompetence, and she would make sure they knew it!
