"HahahahahHAHAHAHAHA!!! YARRRRGGHHHHH!!!!"

For a long time after the Pharynx was killed, the battlefield was drowned in silence, but all of a sudden, a man began to laugh in both shock and relief, and it wasn't long before he raised his hand into the air and let out a blood-curdling scream of victory! This set off a chain reaction across the rest of the battlefield, and everyone suddenly erupted into life!

"WE DID IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE WE DID IT!"

"IT'S FINALLY DEAD! HAHAHA!"

"DID YOU SEE THAT FINAL ATTACK!? IT DESTROYED EVERYTHING!! THE FUCKING SKY SPLIT IN TWO! WHO THE FUCK IS THIS MAN!?"

"HIS NAME IS JASON MARC! THE SAVIOUR OF VARIGAN!"

"JASON MARC! JASON MARC! JASON MARC!"

"JASON MARC! JASON MARC!"

All of a sudden, the entire battlefield erupted in excited yells and screams, and Jason watched as the screams slowly evolved into a wild chant of his name. Jason could only watch the festivities with a small smile of amusement on his face. Jason knew that killing a monster like this would usually be just another day for him, but for these Varigans, it was something completely different. This was a monster that had tormented them for close to a century, and Jason's actions had secured their future and the future of their children, so Jason could understand their excitement! Jason didn't bother trying to stop the wild chanting, and he just looked up and saw Gina waving at him with a proud smile.

On the other side of the battlefield, Haruto and Rei looked up at the split sky in silent wonder, and Rei turned when she heard Haruto speak from beside her.

"It's really dead, isn't it?"

There was a hint of sheer disbelief in Haruto's words. Almost like he thought this was all some sick dream that he was going to wake up from any moment now, and honestly, Rei couldn't blame him! A small part of her also believed that all of this was just some dream and they were only fooling themselves into thinking that it was over. But an even larger part of Rei that had been wishing for this day since forever overshadowed her disbelief, and for the first time in almost her entire life, Rei smiled and rushed to hug Haruto! Haruto was a little surprised by the hug, but he didn't fight it, and he simply hugged her back as he heard her whisper to him.

"Yeah, it's over. We're free."

The two Mecha pilots who had been destined to be the last remaining humans if things had gone differently held each other close as they felt relief pass through them! Maybe in some other lifetime, Haruto and Rei would have been forced to grow closer due to the death of everyone else around them, and they would have eventually been told of Hector's plan and their destined mission to escape as the last remaining humans, but that was not the case in this world. And at this moment, Haruto only held Rei tighter as he felt her body shake with an intense sob, and in the next moment, she began to cry profusely into his shoulder!

"You're such a crybaby."

Haruto said this with a smile, and Rei pressed her face tighter against his shoulder!

"Shut up and stay still! Sob~! I'd rather be crying on James' shoulder, but you'll do for now."

Haruto felt his eye twitch when Rei said this, and he clicked his tongue at her.

"Flat-chested crybaby."

"Shut up, you idiot! Sob~! I'm a C-Cup!"

The cries of joy and jubilation weren't only exclusive to the soldiers on the battlefield! Those who had been watching from the settlements couldn't help but rejoice in excitement as they watched the battle through the helicopter feed! Every single Varigan was aware of what had happened now, and they all knew that the monster that tormented them for generations had finally been defeated!

But in the midst of the excitement and celebration, the Varigans had no idea that their troubles were actually far from over. In fact, the true battle had only just begun. The sudden shift happened almost instantaneously! At one moment, Jason was speaking to Gina through their mental link about where they would be going next, and in the next moment, there was a sudden explosion of mana in the atmosphere!

DOON!

Every single soldier slowly stopped their celebration and looked around in shock once they felt the mana! Many of them looked towards Jason since they thought that he was the one who had released it, but they saw that Jason wasn't even staring at them! Jason was looking to his left with a deep frown on his face, and everyone turned in that direction as well, and they felt their eyes widen at what they saw there.

"What the fuck is that?"

"It looks like some sort of light."

"Something's tearing through the… air?"

A long tear appeared in the air and suddenly began to widen into a large circle, and everyone immediately began to take steps away from it in shock, but their attention was pulled away when someone suddenly called out!

"Look over there! There's one over there as well!"

People turned to the other side of the battlefield, and they saw that another tear was opening on that side! More and more Tears began to open all around the battlefield, and from the pattern they were seeing, it was obvious that they were being surrounded by the strange circles! What the hell was going on!? Out of everyone there, Jason was the only one who knew exactly what was happening, and Jason immediately called out to his subordinates and ordered all of them back into his Alternate Dimension! Jason told Gina to also go into the Alternate Dimension, and Gina quickly vanished along with the Skyking! Jason already knew that helping this world out would give the Machina a chance to catch up to him, but he had hoped that they would at least take a few more hours before they reached this world!

'Well, it doesn't matter. I guess I already spent too long in this world.'

Jason gained an amused smile as he eyed the Dimensional Tear calmly, and he felt his eyes narrow slightly when he saw a giant figure emerge from one of the circles! It was a giant robot that was almost similar to the giant Mechas that Jason had seen here on Varigan, but this robot was almost three times as large as the Zen Mechas, and it had a pure silver shine that showed it had been made by the Machina. At the centre of the robot's chest was a strange semicircular glass dome and Jason watched as more and more of those robots floated out from every single Dimensional Tear! Other than the giant robots, hundreds of Machina soldiers also marched out from the Dimensional Tears, and Jason realised in surprise that they had really gone all out this time! The Machina had brought tanks and machine guns with them, and there were also air carriers that looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie as they hovered silently in the air beside the giant robots. If this were any other time, Jason would've been impressed by the sheer tenacity of the Machina, but Jason didn't have time for any nonsense, and he immediately activated his [Arcane Art] and fell into the shadows!

Click!

DOOOONNN!!!

A click echoed from one of the giant Machina robots that surrounded the battlefield, and a massive ray of light suddenly blasted out from the semicircular glass dome on the robot's chest and slammed into the spot where Jason had once been! Many of the Varigans screamed in pain as the bright light burnt their eyes from its intensity, and Jason felt his body shoot through the shadows and back into the real world immediately! Jason landed on his feet and glared up at the giant robot! What the fuck?

Click! Click! Click! Click! Click!

More and more of the robots began to turn on their semicircular domes as well, and multiple rays of blinding white light beamed down on the battlefield!
