The [Mana Storage Rune] was extremely useful, but the only downside to this rune was the fact that it could only store 100,000 units of mana before becoming unstable, so you would have to use multiple of the runes at the same time if you wanted to store more mana. Jason had drawn ten of this rune on Gina and five of them on himself. Jason would have put more runes on himself, but he had been running out of space on his body since he had to put other defensive and attacking runes around his body as well, so he could only fit five of them. But even with just five, Jason was sure that he would have enough mana to last him through the battle after he uses two million mana units to counter the [Domain Lock].

As Jason walked, he could feel a power approaching from the other end of the air carrier. This power source was far greater than any of the soldiers that had been attacking him, and Jason was certain that this was the General of the Machina army. Jason deactivated his Qi Sword and he pulled out one of the [High Level Dragonsteel Swords] from his Alternate Dimension. Even though Jason's Qi sword was already strong enough to cut through S Ranks and some SS Ranks, it was still not strong enough to handle SSS Ranks, so Jason needed the extra strength of an actual sword to handle this. Once Jason pulled out the sword, he immediately began to send his Qi through it, and the sword glowed with a brilliant blue light that covered its surface and made it far stronger. Jason then looked up as a man-machine hybrid walked out from the door leading deeper into the airship.

General Braga was a mountain of a man who stood at nearly eight feet tall with bulging muscles and mechanical parts all across his body. His two arms and lower body had been replaced by mechanical parts, and he walked with the confidence of someone who had been in various battles and had won every one of them. General Braga raised his left arm and transformed it into a plasma gun before unleashing a blast that eradicated one of Jason's subordinates who had been charging at him from the side. Jason raised a brow at this before he grinned. Not bad! Jason knew that he could just send his subordinates to overwhelm Braga to create an opening, but Jason didn't want to do that. Jason wanted to kill this bastard himself!

Braga pointed his blaster at Jason, and Jason crouched and shot off towards Braga!

Twoon! Twoon! Twoon!

Braga began to unleash blasts in Jason's direction, but Jason easily deflected all of them using his Qi sword, and once he was close enough, he brought the sword into an upward swing to cut through Braga's blaster! But Braga managed to pull his arm back in time, and he immediately tried to charge at Jason with a shoulder bash! But Jason just laughed as he slammed the heel of his palm into Braga's shoulder, and Braga felt something shift and break in his shoulder!

CRACK!

Braga let out a pained grunt, and he immediately jumped back and looked down at his limp left arm in shock! What the fuck just happened!? Braga knew that his power was nothing to scoff at! With his augmented arms and legs, he was one of the most physically gifted members of the Machina, so he thought that he would at least be able to push Jason back by a few meters with his bash! But the fact that Jason was able to not only withstand the bash, but also break Braga's shoulder in the process could only mean one thing!

'I was right… he already surpassed SSS Rank. This man is a TITAN!'

Braga realised at that moment that he had been too shortsighted! Braga had bet this entire fight on the belief that Jason couldn't grow from SSS Rank to TITAN in the short time since they last saw him, so he had dismissed his suspicion before! But now that he was facing Jason head-on, he could tell that he had been very wrong! Braga immediately made a call through to the engineers in the control room, and his second-in-command spoke up through his comms.

[Sir, what's your status?]

"Code Red."

The second-in-command felt his eyes widen in shock when he heard this, and he asked Braga if he was sure! Braga grunted as he levelled his blaster at Jason with narrowed eyes!

"It's been a pleasure, Radal. But there is no other way this monster is going down. Execute the sequence."

Braga heard his second-in-command acknowledge the command. He began to recalibrate an attack, and Braga clicked off the comm before looking back to Jason! Braga felt irritation fill his body when he saw the look on Jason's face! Was he grinning!?

"What are you grinning at, you monster?"

Jason's grin widened, and he calmly flipped his sword before he spoke.

"The order you just gave. Are you really willing to go so far just to try and take me out? This is the greatest flaw your race possesses. You've been at the top of the food chain for so long that it has become impossible for you to recognize your own shortcomings anymore. What you lack isn't conviction or firepower. The truth is that you are simply beneath me in every conceivable way. You never stood a chance."

Braga's teeth ground angrily the longer he heard Jason speak! There was a rod of red-hot rage searing through Braga's spine, and Braga felt his anger overflowing into a mad shout!

"Laugh all you want, but you won't be getting out of this alive! We'll kill you here even if it costs us our lives!"

Braga suddenly unleashed a barrage of lasers at Jason, and Jason brought a hand up and activated a defensive rune! A golden shield shimmered to life in front of Jason, and the moment the lasers hit the shield, they were all deflected right back at Braga! Braga brought up a defensive shield of his own to block the lasers before his feet suddenly erupted with rocket boosters that shot him forward! Braga's left hand transformed into a long sword that had a glowing red edge, and he brought it down on Jason with a furious roar, but Jason just raised his hand and blocked the blade easily!

CLANG!

The air carrier shook from the impact, but Jason didn't even look like he registered it at all! Jason's eyes were still gazing ahead calmly, and there was a small, mocking grin on his face as he effortlessly held Braga back! Braga growled in anger, and he suddenly began to flash around the room at speeds that would be completely untrackable to the human eye!

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!

Braga was merely a blur of movement, but Jason's eyes darted from left to right easily as he followed the general! The clang of the two swords smashing together echoed through the carrier as Jason easily deflected all of Braga's attacks, and Jason gained an even larger grin when he caught sight of Braga's face and saw just how frustrated Braga looked at that moment! Jason suddenly turned sharply and deflected a particularly vicious blow, and the force of the deflection threw Braga back to the other side of the room! Jason fell forward before dashing towards Braga again, and Braga landed on the floor and backpedalled before quickly bringing his cannon arm forward to fire at Jason, but Jason suddenly vanished from Braga's line of sight, and Braga felt his eyes widen in shock as he felt death approaching him from the left!
