Braga felt death approaching him from the left, and he jolted as he pushed every circuit in his body into overdrive and slammed his feet down to dodge quickly to the right! And it was only this quick reaction that allowed Braga to keep his head as Jason's sword flashed across where Braga's neck had been! Braga roared as he turned around and lashed out with his arms, and Jason raised a brow when Braga grabbed him in a hug and held him tightly before shouting through his comms!

"Now! Do it now!"

Braga's second-in-command heard the order and quickly pressed the button for an attack! Outside the air carrier, all the giant robots turned their blasters towards the massive air carrier in the sky, and their chests glowed with a brilliant white light! Braga knew that this was the only way to kill this monster! There was no one in this army who had the power to take Jason out on their own, and if they continued to fight against Jason like this, then they would eventually lose this battle! Instead, Braga decided that the only way to kill Jason was to take him out in a kamikaze attack that would eradicate everything on this ship!

"This is where your life ends, you monster! I'll gladly give my life to end yours, and I'll go to the river laughing at you for eternity! HAHAHAHAHA!!"

"HHAHAHAHAH!"

Braga started to laugh in ecstatic madness as he imagined the look on Jason's face when he realised that he was going to die here, but Braga slowly came down from his own laughter when he heard someone else laughing even louder than him! Braga felt Jason shaking in his hands, and he was shocked to realise that Jason was the one laughing! Braga couldn't understand it! Why was Jason laughing!? Braga knew that there was no way anyone could survive the blast that was coming to them! This was an attack that would eradicate any low-level TITAN rank with ease! There was no doubt that they were all going to die here!

"SO WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LAUGHING!?"

Jason's head snapped back in a way that allowed Braga to see the amusement dancing in his eyes, and Braga felt a jolt of true fear pass through him when he saw that Jason didn't even have a hint of worry in those eyes! Jason looked excited!

Jason spread his hand and easily broke out of Braga's hold, and he turned around in one fluid motion before grabbing Braga's shoulder and stabbing his sword through Braga's chest!

SQUELCH!

Braga gasped in shock from the sudden attack, and he groaned as he felt Jason twist the sword into his chest. Jason was still looking down at Braga in excitement, and Braga's eyes widened as Jason spoke with a wide grin on his face!

"Do you want to die that badly, Braga? Then let's die together!"

Braga's teeth clenched so tight that they literally started to crack from anger! There was blood leaking from his mouth, but he still found the strength to grab Jason tightly before he roared out for his second-in-command to fire! Braga didn't care if he died here! So long as Jason died as well, then Braga would gladly give up his life!

The giant robots all unleashed massive blasts of energy straight towards the large air carrier, and the Machina who had been on the ship immediately began to run while screaming in fear as they realised that they were about to be vaporized by the attack! But Braga knew that not a single Machina on this ship was going to escape! This attack was far too wide and far too powerful for anyone to escape it! The only thing they could do was send out their final messages to those that they cared for before the massive ray of pure energy eviscerated everything in that region!

TWOOOONNNN!!!

The energy blasted across the air like the judgment of a fallen god, and completely destroyed the air carrier before continuing on into the distance! And the moment the beam touched the ground, the valley echoed with a world-shaking explosion!

KA-BOOOOMMMM!!!!

On the other side of the battlefield, multiple Varigans were gathered around the entrance of the large Orange Gate with worried looks on their faces as they wondered what was happening inside! The Varigans had been shocked when they saw the Gate appear and suck in various soldiers, and many of the remaining soldiers had tried to chase after their comrades, but they were all stopped by Jason's Legion! Jason had told his Legion to make sure that Varigans didn't die, and the Legion knew that the best way to prevent the soldiers from dying was by keeping them out of the Gate, so they refused to let them in, no matter what!

James was standing close to the Legion members with a pinched look on his face! James had screamed and shouted at the Legion to allow him to enter the Gate, but no matter what he did, they simply refused to allow him through! James was about to shout at the Legion again, but Hayley came up from behind James and patted him on the shoulder roughly! James turned around to ask what she wanted, but he was shocked when he saw her looking at another teenage Zen Pilot standing behind her! This girl had a strange yellow light glowing from her palms, and James felt his eyes furrow in shock when he felt a familiar power flowing off her hands!

"Is that… magic? How in the world does she have magic?"

Hayley shook her head.

"I don't know. She just started glowing all of a sudden. I think it's from -"

KA-BOOOOMMMM!!!!

Everyone suddenly ducked as they heard a massive explosion echo through the valley! Someone screamed in fear, and James looked back at the battle on the other side of the valley to see that the largest airship had been destroyed by a massive plasma ray from the giant robots!

"Wait, wasn't Jason in that air carrier? He told us he'd go in there, didn't he?"

"Yeah, I remember. He switched places with a dragon to get inside!"

"Then… what does that mean? Is he… dead?"

All the Varigans felt shock pass through their bodies when they heard that last statement! They all knew that the chances of anything surviving an explosion like the one they just saw were next to impossible, but none of them could even seem to consider the possibility that Jason was actually dead! They just couldn't think about it! But out of everyone there, James and Hayley were the ones who didn't look like they believed it at all! They were the two who had been with Jason for the longest, so they understood him better than the other Varigans, and they knew that Jason wasn't the sort of person to go and get killed off just like that! James was certain that Jason had survived somehow!

"Something's flying towards us!"

Someone shouted from behind James, and James looked up to see a massive metal structure falling from the sky! James knew that he wouldn't have enough time to move out of the way, and the only thing he could do was raise his hand and turn away with a grimace! But a few seconds passed without James feeling anything crushing him, and he opened his eyes slowly to see the young girl with yellow light on her hands holding up the falling debris with some sort of strange forcefield! The girl grunted as she tried to shift the rocket to the other side, but it was far too heavy, and her knees buckled under the weight! The girl was a sixteen-year-old Zen Pilot who had become a superhuman and gained a defensive shield as her ability. But even though she was now a superhuman, her ability was still at a very low level, and her power was barely enough to classify her as an E Rank, so the falling debris was too heavy for her to handle! The girl groaned as the weight began to push her to the ground, but she was shocked when she suddenly felt all the weight being lifted off her body, and she looked to the side to see one of Jason's subordinates standing there.
