Strongest Necromancer System

Chapter 549: The Legend of The Immortal Hero

"I'll tell you all about it tonight, Maya, I promise. Now go do as I say."

Maya looked at Riyala for a moment when she heard her mom say this, and she huffed at Riyala's apologetic expression before she stormed towards the kitchen. Mira shook her head at her daughter's antics before she finally began asking Riyala about Radagan and how she was holding up.

"Well, things have been good—"

"Don't lie to me, Riyala. I know you've been working very hard. You don't need to hide anything from me."

Riyala was a little surprised when Mira said this, and she smiled tiredly before she nodded.

"Yes, I guess you're right. I've been really tired lately because of work and I… I miss Jason so much…"

Mira smiled in understanding, and she simply listened as Riyala continued to lay out her troubles. Riyala knew that she had to be back home very soon since she was the only one who could handle most of the tasks back in Radagan, but at this moment, she didn't feel like the invisible Priestess that had to put up a strong front for her people, and she didn't feel like the weight of the world was on her shoulders.

Riyala felt peaceful in the same way she always felt whenever she was spending time with Jason and Gina, and they were just joking around. That feeling was something Riyala knew she could only experience when she was around Jason, but as Riyala spoke to Mira, she slowly started to understand just why Jason loved this woman so much. Mira had a way of making anybody let down their guard and become free just with a few words, and Riyala realised that this conversation was exactly what she needed at this moment.

[The World of Jaeran]

[121 Dimensional Leaps Away From Earth]

In the week after the battle between the Legion and the Machina at the Giverna Valley, Jason had unknowingly become a legend amongst the members of the Varigan race. After Jason was done killing and resurrecting all the Machina that had attacked him in Varigan, he watched as Haruto and Rei returned from the other side of the Orange Gate after killing the Gate Boss. The two of them had worked very hard to make sure that everyone who entered the Gate with them came back alive, and they had been hailed by all the soldiers there for their efforts. Jason took a few minutes afterwards to explain what it meant to now be part of the Primordial Domain to the Varigans, and he made sure that they understood how dangerous things could get for them if they let their guard down. Jason warned them not to allow any Gate to stay too long without being cleared, and he advised that they should start up superhuman training schools to make sure that all the superhumans were strong enough to handle Gates.

The Varigans had been so grateful to Jason for everything that he had done that they begged him to stay so that they could honour him at one of their largest settlements! Jason had not only killed the monster that was tormenting their world, but he had also protected them from the Machina and made sure that their soldiers didn't die inside the Gate! They had to do something to honour his efforts! But Jason didn't care about all of that, and he just told them that it was fine. Jason hadn't done any of these things so that they could honour him, and if Jason was honest, he had only gotten involved in all this because he was slightly bored. The Machina appearing at this exact moment was unexpected, but Jason was just glad that things didn't turn out worse than they did!

The leader of the Varigan soldiers, Hayley, apologised to Gina again for trying to seduce Jason earlier, and Gina waved it away and said that it was fine. There was no harm done! Hayley smiled and asked Gina if she could tell her where they were going next, and Gina just said that they still had a long journey ahead of them, but they would return to Earth once the journey was over. Once Hayley heard that, she immediately decided that the Varigans were going to help Jason in any way they could! The Varigans provided Jason and Gina with a travel pack that included various meals, a tent, and other camping gear, and even some technological devices that would make it easier for them to survey and communicate across distances! Jason had obviously not needed any of these things. Jason already had more than enough resources to last him through his entire journey! But Jason could see that the Varigans were trying their best to help out, and he decided to just be grateful and accept what they offered.

Jason's actions and his unwillingness to allow them to do even more for him exalted him in the eyes of the Varigans and raised him from the level of a mere hero up to the level of a literal god! Jason didn't know it yet, but his very existence would become a legend in the eyes of the Varigans. The Varigans would keep a close eye on all the things Jason would accomplish over the next few years, and his exploits would be a mandatory subject taught to every child and soldier that passed through the Varigan system! His name would be whispered amongst the Varigans like the title of a true god, and there would be statues of him built up all across the world of Varigan to depict his greatness!

Jason and Gina had only stayed in Varigan for a few hours, but those few hours had completely changed the trajectory of this world! Jason's actions had saved the Varigans from certain death, and as the Varigans inevitably grow in power and technology and expand their influence across the Primordial Expanse, they would begin to spread the news of the great immortal hero who had saved their world from certain destruction! The Varigans would eventually become one of the powerhouses of this Primordial Domain, but no matter how powerful they became, they would never forget the unbelievable power wielded by the King of the Undying Legion! The Varigans would ensure that the gospel of their great hero would reach every corner of the Primordial Expanse, and in the event that they ever heard Jason Marc needed their help in the future, the Varigans would be the very first to put their lives on the line for the sake of the man who had saved their world!

But that was a story that Jason would not learn about for at least a few more years. Right now, Jason and Gina were moving across the Primordial Expanse at a quick pace as Jason made his way towards all the Machina outposts that were waiting for him. The knowledge that Jason gained from Braga was invaluable, and it allowed Jason to move forward with a goal in mind. And over the next week following the battle at Varigan, Jason ambushed and decimated every single Machina outpost in his way!

The first outpost that he ran into was in a world known as Fran'dre, about five dimensional leaps away from Varigan, and there were just under two hundred Machina in that location. Jason had appeared undetected and sent his subordinates through the shadows. He made sure that there was a subordinate locked onto every single Machina before he told them to appear and kill all of them at once! It had been the easiest and quickest battle that Jason had ever fought, and the Machina camp had turned into a graveyard in less than two seconds
