"Who was that?" Minnera asked as we settled for the night.

Oh right… I suppose Minnera hasn't actually been formally introduced to that girl. Actually… That was the first time we have even been formally introduced to each other since she never actually gave me her name before.

The few times I've met her were all due to being involved with stuff that she was planning or people who were acting under her will.

She would then appear and check things out before she leaves just as quickly… Which honestly was rather annoying if you ask me.

And though not all of my girls have met her personally either, I have at least told the others about her before so they were at least aware of her existence.

I let out a sigh, "Apparently she's an Off-Worlder who doesn't like the gods of this World…"

Minnera raised an eyebrow at that, "She's an Off-Worlder? Wait… Really? I somehow didn't feel like she's an Off-Worlder…"

"Hmm? What do you mean by that?"

Minnera paused to consider her words, tapping her cheek thoughtfully before answering me, "I… Kind of have a feeling that she isn't someone from our old World for some reason… I don't really know how to explain it…"

I scratched my cheek, "I suppose I can understand that given how weird she acts… But she did say it herself that she was one of the people who came over to this World from another one…"

"No… I meant like… She doesn't feel like she's from our World specifically."

I frowned, "Wait… Are you telling me that she might have came from another World instead?"

"It's a possibility I suppose? There wasn't exactly a rule that said that people from other Worlds aside from ours could also end up waking up here, right?"

Huh… Now that I think about it… That could actually be possible, right?

No one ever said that only people from our World was given the opportunity to live another life here… For all we know, there might be other Worlds that were also similarly destroyed by some random gods and those people might be given the chance to come to Erednay and live another life.

Heck, that might not even be the case and some other World might have another person getting hit by a truck and then somehow waking up here instead. We already live in a World of magic and stuff so there's no way you're going to convince me that this wasn't possible.

I scratched my head, "Wait… Are you telling me that all this time… She might be manipulating people from our old World into believing that she's also from our World just to get what she wants?"

Minnera shrugged, "I have a feeling that she might not even know that she's from a different World than ours, actually."

Hmm… I suppose we are already classifying everyone that came to this World from somewhere as 'Off-Worlders' to begin with that no one really bothered to check if we were all from the same World and just assumed that was the case.

Now I wonder if she was the only case where she came from another World aside from ours or were there also others just like that?

Actually, it's not even confirmed if she really isn't from our old World though…

"Maybe she's just different? Or maybe she changed or something? There's not really any concrete evidence that would undeniably prove that she isn't from our old World, right?" I suggested.

Minnera shrugged, "I suppose that is true. I'm just going by a gut feeling to begin with so I could still be wrong. So what's the deal with her?"

"I believe you heard what she said, didn't you? She intends to overthrow the gods."

She frowned, "Wait… She was serious about that? I thought she might be trolling or something…"

I shook my head, "She was most definitely serious… In fact, she even created a kind of cult where she gathered people to work on doing just that… They've tried to start conflicts between countries just to try and weaken the beliefs in the gods."

Minnera tilted her head, "How would that help them though? It's not like the Gods depend on the beliefs of people to have power…"

I shrugged, "I dunno… I just know that it was something they tried to do, that's all…"

"Do the Gods know about this?"

"Now that you mention it… I think I may have mentioned it to them… But I'm not sure how seriously they take her as a threat. Perhaps I should ask them."

Lisa suddenly popped out of nowhere, "Oh! Oh!! Are you going to ask Goddess Hiandoca?! Please call for Goddess Hiandoca, Aster!"

I gave my Infrid a pointed look, "If you want to have an orgy, you don't need to get her here for that… We can just do it later, ok?"

"Ehehehe~ Ok~" She giggled before running off again.

I turned back to Minnera, "To be honest though… If the gods really see her as a threat… Wouldn't they just smite her down immediately? There's no rule that would stop them from doing so, right? Or is there some kind of rule that prevents gods from killing mortals?"

"The only thing stopping them from doing that is each other. And I highly doubt any of them would even care enough to stop another God from killing a mortal… Unless they have a vested interest in said mortal of course…"

When she said that, she was eyeing me intentionally, not so subtly reminding me that I was such a person where several gods have a vested interest in.

Hey, it's not like I went out of my way to get them interested in me to begin with, ok?!

"I guess I'll just visit a shrine in the next city to ask them or something. We're heading to the land of Trasifs, right? Which means there should be shrines to Drebann so I can just ask him I suppose."

It's not like I'm in a rush to find out anyway… And judging by how Ira reacted to my admission that I was on rather good terms with some of the gods… I think it would be better if I don't just go running straight to them in case she was still monitoring me.

For all I know, she's hiding somewhere and watching us right now just to see what I would do. She might even be using me as bait or something where the moment I contact one of the gods and they show up, she would burst out from hiding and attack the god…

As much as I would like to believe that the gods would be stronger than she is, she may have come up with some kind of trick that might somehow give her an upper hand over the god.

So I guess best not to risk it… I might as well just find a shrine and pray there so that they will transport me to their realm instead of me calling them here.

Wait… Actually…

I turned to Minnera, "Can't you just tell your goddess about this? You can talk to Ralaie, right?"

She hesitated for a moment, "I… Suppose I could… But I would need to prepare an offering for her if I were to do so. If I call her without one, she might be a little mad at me…"

I made a face at her, "Even though you're basically telling her about someone who intends to overthrow her? Really?"

This time, it was Emilia who answered me, "Boss… That bitch wouldn't even be the first one who would try something like this. There have been others in the past who would try to attain Godhood or even challenge the Gods to try and claim their authority. This would be something like someone coming to tell you that they intend to try and challenge you for your Special Class Student position in Aerialla Academy. I would think your response would be something like 'let them try' or something, right?"

Well… I don't think that's an accurate comparison because I barely had anyone who tried to challenge me to begin with but I understand what she was trying to get at.

I guess that means I would probably have to tell Drebann myself I guess… Or if I just happen to come across another shrine belonging to one of the other gods that I was acquainted with…

Like I had told her, I really do like this World and I'd prefer that she doesn't destroy it or mess it up.

I still have a lot of places I want to go and things I want to see, ok?

That also reminds me… She mentioned something about having tea together as well… I wonder when she would be inviting me to that?

I'm kind of curious what she would prepare for the tea together now… She even said that there would be sweets too~

Ah not good… Have to remember that she's trying to mess up this World…

Right, let's just concentrate on reaching the land of Trasifs first!
