One thing I learned about the city pretty quickly was that it was also divided into different districts based on caste.

The ones further away from the Tree of Life was basically the commoner's district and as you get progressively closer to the tree itself, you would find citizens of higher standing within their society.

The thing was… They base a person's social standing more on how feminine they are.

And even the ones that were staying at the commoner's district wouldn't even look out of place as a fashion model so I was wondering what the people in the upper districts would look like.

Even the Trasif that tried to pick me up earlier was apparently only someone staying in the middle districts and she was already pretty beautiful and feminine in my opinion…

I wonder which district I would belong to if I were to stay here?

Anyway, Emilia continued to lead us to where the inn was supposed to be and we headed closer and closer to the giant tree.

And the deeper we went, the more feminine the Trasifs were which meant that the people we saw got more and more beautiful.

I was wondering if there was any restriction from people travelling in between districts since in Lehcarouc Kingdom, they would need to do inspections before you can travel between districts and in Nekinumi Kingdom you actually need specific permissions to be able to travel between them.

Yet over here… It doesn't look like there were any restrictions at all and anyone could just move freely in between the districts.

It's almost like the districts are just for living in or, if you look at it another way, as a competition to see who was more feminine than everyone else.

I wonder if you would move up to a higher district if you become more feminine?

We eventually got to the part of the city where I'm pretty sure would normally be where the nobles or the really important people's district.

And looking around at the people that were there, they really were drop dead gorgeous.

Not only that, it looks like their mannerisms and even the way they are dressed are exceptionally feminine as well.

I'm talking about dresses with lots of frills, accessories and even makeup.

It almost feels like I was walking through some kind of supermodel fashion show at this point.

And… For some reason… All of them seemed to take notice of us and were staring as we walked by.

I'm guessing it's because we definitely do not look like we belong here.

Sure enough, one of the locals stepped in front of us and gave me a disapproving look.

"Ahem… May I know your name, Miss?"

I had to check with [Screened] to make sure that the Trasif in front of me was female and surprisingly, she was a futa.

To be fair, she was dressed in what looked like a Victorian era dress with a really big and puffy skirt with lots of frills so there was no way I could see any bulges down there.

On that note, it looked like her entire outfit was skewed in that direction since she also had the oversized hat and also the paper fan that she was using to hide the bottom half of her face with.

I tilted my head at her, "Is there something wrong?"

She looked me up and down before shaking her head, "This won't do… This won't do at all."

I frowned, wondering if she was referring to us being not good enough to be here or something.

She snapped her fan shut before pointing the end of the fan at me, "Do you even know where you stand right now?"

I looked back at my girls who were just looking back at me in confusion, meaning even they didn't know what this Trasif was looking for.

I turned back to her "I'm not sure? Ermm… Are we not supposed to be here?"

She gestured at me, "You! Do you even see yourself? What is this?"

I looked down at myself, trying to figure out if I had some stains on me or something that might have offended her but as far as I could tell… I don't have anything that might offend her?

She clucked her tongue at me, "You still do not understand? Hmm… Could this, perhaps, be your first time here?"

"Eh? Ah. Yes, that's right. It is my first time in this city. Have I done something wrong?"

She gestured at me again, "This! Do you not see? Are none of you seeing this?"

She seemed quite exasperated by my answer and even looked at my girls for their opinion, which they of course did not know how to respond because they don't know what was wrong either.

"This!" She tried again. "What is she wearing? Why is she wearing something so… So simple?!"

Eh? It's what I'm wearing that is the problem? Why?

Looking down at my clothes, I was just wearing my usual adventuring dress that is suitable for fighting and everyday use since it was simple and also not too restrictive.

Not that it mattered anyway since I also had the [Fashion Forward] boon which allows me to fight in any kind of attire I was wearing without being restricted by them.

But what problem does she have with this dress?

She clicked her tongue again before reaching in between her boobs to pull out something that looked like a card.

Why do they always store stuff in between their boobs? Maybe I should start doing the same thing too?

"Here. If you have the time, you might as well come to my store to get yourself a proper dress."

I tilted my head at her, "What's wrong with mine?"

"It is inadequate! That's what! How can someone like you be wearing something so simple?! It is such a waste! Come to my store and I will have you outfitted with the best clothes that will bring out your beauty! Especially for the upcoming festival! You must come! I will personally prepare something specifically for you!"

I didn't even have time to react to her words when another Trasif suddenly appeared, this one dressed in what was akin to a bodysuit that literally hugged her curves and left nothing to the imagination.

"No! You should come to my store instead! I will have something even better for you!" She requested, trying to shove her own card to me instead.

And as though on cue, another Trasif jumped in with their own card as well, this one dressed in literally just her underwear.

"No, no! Follow me instead! My store will literally make you beautiful beyond comparison! My clothes are better!"

My girls must have also realised that this would most likely not end if I were to just stand there so they immediately interfered.

Emilia stood in front of me, "Sorry, but we're in the middle of something right now and we have no time for you."

Without even waiting for any of them to answer, Emilia simply dragged me along behind her and we escaped from the scene.

I kept my mouth shut until I was sure we were out of earshot from them before turning to Emilia, "What was that all about?"

Instead of my cat girl answering though, it was Kasuki who answered my question, "It is simple, Mistress. They simply think that you're beautiful and it would help them advertise their shop if you were to wear their clothes."

Oh… I actually didn't think of it that way.

So they were hoping that I could become their walking billboard or something.

Emilia chuckled, "You don't need to worry, Boss! If there's anything you want, feel free to let us know and we will bring it to you in a flash! And… Speaking of which, we should be nearing the inn soon~"

She moved through the streets and eventually stopped in front of a really huge tree, the tree being one of the biggest amongst the trees in the area.

The tree was also quite uniquely shaped and it looked like someone forgot to turn off the water which affected the elevation as well.

"Here we are!" Emilia grinned, thrusting her chest out proudly as she gestured at the tree.

We walked past the entrance and I was prepared to be greeted by an entire interior that was similar to the last one we went to with the inn located at the very top floors.

Instead, what we saw as we entered was a reception counter directly in front of the entrance with several exceptionally elegant looking Traifs manning said counter.

Right beside the entrance was another elegant Trasif who immediately bowed to us, "Welcome to our humble inn, dear guests. How may we help you today?"

I then realised something after hearing the Trasif's welcome.

This entire tree was the inn…

"Emilia…" I breathed, slowly turning towards her. "Did you… Buy this entire tree for the inn instead of just occupying some plot of land and growing a new tree for it?"

"That is correct, Mistress. It's faster to just buy the entire tree instead of just growing one~"

…

Emilia… Actually bought an entire tree… I can't even…

Whatever, this is Emilia's business to deal with.
